Discada. Plow Disc. Cowboy Wok
I have 3 discos that I use I have had them for about 15 years or more ,can’t beat ‘em
Every product needs care
Cool ))
I made a bbq pit 1/4 thick pipe I have had it for 18 plus years . The next day after the bbq I take out the ashes . It is in great condition after all these years
Nice work. Good video, enjoyed watching.👍👍
We make really big ones out of a round disk and weld a side like you did and handles and legs and use it for fish fries and making tripititas and other things .
cool
Job well done

Seu trabalho pra mim ficou excelente meus parabéns
*Spectacular, congratulations on your effort...I really liked it. Greetings from Brazil*
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it and maybe it helped. Greetings from Ukraine
Very cool, I didn’t see but did you weld the inside seam?, if not that’s were rust will start, maybe if seasoned well it will be ok, overall I love it!
Cool built.
I need to find some old harrow discs. I like to build bbq smokers, open fire grills etc.
I have 2 in Florida free to a good home
NOT that big though
gorgeous
Impeccable 👍😃
Absolutely awesome disk harrows are normally pretty thick if for deep disking and a bit larger but that'll work just fine excellent 👌 idea young 🌱 man!!!!
The only thing I'm thinking 🤔 might be a subject is there's no flat spot but that can easily be taken care of with a large cherry 🌸 torch and a large hammer ⚒️!!!!
Always a pleasure thanks for sharing!!!!!
Glad to see you! Yes, that's right, it's quality steel and 6 mm thick. The flat bottom is for an amateur and if you need to fry pancakes. But it's a matter of taste. The frying pan is made from a harrow disk, you can pass it on as an inheritance. Thanks
It’s just a disk
What is a disk harrow, what this is called is a disk.
Just a disk, but what a pan it turned out to be
Wow man!! That turned out amazing. Id love to have something like that for camping
www.etsy.com/shop/bushcraftukraine
This frying pan is great because it is designed for 4-8 people. Take a look at the store, there are many interesting things and discounts. Grills, pans, many tools for camping
I have one I made years ago awesome for cooking for large gatherings
Yes, this is an irreplaceable eternal dish. What is the diameter of your pan?
@@addforging its 48 inches takes 2 people to carry it when full
@@oldguy59 A large frying pan. I make the largest 31.5", but that's a hot table for you!))
That would make a good water fountain.
Ahaha, no, it will rust quickly
Great job, congratulations
That's for sure, thanks! ))
Muy bien hecho. Felicitaciones
Thanks👍
need to season that beast! Great job.
Thank you)) I think that the new owner will do it
Excelente trabajo amigo, muchas gracias.

Nice job!
I'll take one!
Thanks! )) Ok, one))
Excellent craftsmanship
You show off😜
Thanks! ))))
Parabéns , show de bola 🇧🇷
Genuine question. Would it make sense to weld the inner seam as well to keep moisture out of the opening?
Excelente trabajo realizado
Gracias. Pronto habrá 2 sartenes diferentes más.

..Good job sir! for a moment i thought you were going to make the handles out of the disk teeth. that ought to fry your chicken...
@@y-notforge8913 Glad to see you. I thought about making handles from the teeth of the disk, but the handles are very thin and I already have a plan for these harrow teeth
Really cool👍as a welder just a question...wouldn't be good to weld the vertical stripearound also on the inside,to prevent oil and fat to go in the corner for eventual risk of future cracks?
Thanks for the comment. In time, oil and fat will get into the place where the frying pan and the side meet, this is normal, this will create a non-stick effect along the edges. There will be no cracks, since the welding was done with special electrodes for welding high-alloy steels. There were no cracks after welding and there will be no cracks during cooking either. If there are some small cracks, oil and fat will get there and there will be a "plug" effect.
I'm already preparing a video on a flat frying pan made from a 45 cm harrow disk with a handle
Cool👍thanks x the answer.looking forward for the new video👌
Parabéns
I kinda liked the scalloped edge and probably would have left it on.
That's for sure
Else along the contour is problematic. It is possible to make the board smaller in diameter and weld it inside the disc
I would love to have one would be great for our southern cooking

In this store, the assortment is renewed, there are many handmade items for camping
Nice job, looks like you could cook a lot on one of those.,did you buy the peices that the legs screw into,I have never seen them before.do you know what they are called?I would like to try and make one myself.🙌🤔👊
Thank you. Yes, you can cook anything for 6-8 people on this frying pan. Also, the frying pan is 6 mm thick. I made these cylindrical nuts for an old project. Thread M10, I also have M12. They are made from a solid metal rod on a lathe.
Excelente..!
Thanks👍
Good job, this disc is made of boron steel, it's very hard to cut or drill it. By the way it's disc of John Deer disc harrow
@@oleksandrivanchenko5249 Thanks, I'll know that it's from John Deere. Yes, it's a complex steel after heat treatment.
Why is the word harrow added???
It is not a harrow.
It is a disk.
Discs for harrows manufactured by Bellota company
Application: for harrows and disk plows
Camomile disk D=620 mm, h=6 mm, sq. 30x33 (for John Deere technology) (Inphinium) (Bellota), article number GM6-1938-24MDB98 INF.

I call mine COWBOY WOKS
With horse shoe handles
It is possible, but there is practically no point

I guess I never have it much thought until now, but is there any risk of releasing toxins from heating your food over a stick weld? I don’t know much about the compound of those sticks.
Toxins will be released in the form of steam when welding occurs, and it will not be released in this way
I'm sorry I lost your frying pan but I have made you another one with my blood Sweat and tears I hope you like, can I Borrow your car, lol
Then when it's done as a frying pan you can put it back on the harrows 😊
and return the cut disk pattern))))
I watched a video from India or Pakistan, they were making harrow disks from old ships anchor chain?!
Thanks for the comment. Yes, I saw the video. Discs are made of special sheet steel. These are discs made in Spain. I also saw a video from Pakistan, how they make wheel bolts from fittings without heat treatment, it’s scary
How many tons of manure did that disc turn in to the soil before you decided to use it to cook your dinner on it?
@@richardgowdy7293 This disk only turned over and loosened the soil; as for manure, there is other equipment on a different tractor.
Other than your own squeamishness, what would it matter really once the steel is cleaned and broke in?Doubt fecal matter can penetrate steel.
👍👍👍
Thanks))
A true Mexican invention
It was invented in Argentina. Not known in Mexico.😊
This idea was born in Mexico many years ago
I don't think that this idea was specifically from Mexico. I think that every country had and has agricultural attachments that had disks and these pans were made from them. We started making pans after the 50-70s.
This idea is ancient and predates the disc harrow. They've found bronze shields from the time of Alexander the Great being used as griddles in Turkey
Good work 👍. I would have made the legs longer and curved them on the bottom to form a foot .
@@danielgriffith7694 Thanks for the comment. The height is not necessary, as it will take a lot of firewood to cook. Straight legs are better, as you can adjust the height.
Is it a wok in the park?
You can use it in the park, at home, as a gift, it doesn't matter
Nice, you have about $300 . 00 in that. Even with shipping you can get one for $150.
Delivery from Ukraine from $170, since the parcel will be somewhere around 14 kg + Packaging costs, payment of local tax as an entrepreneur 23%, consumables and materials for making a frying pan + payment platform commission 25% + Bank and Payoneer commission 5% + Insurance 5%, well somewhere $27-$35 maybe I will earn from $300
That person didn’t weld the inside seem food and stuff will get stuck in there and people will get sick if not corrected
Definitely inspired by that ingenuity and overall construction Thank you for the content
Thanks for the comment and support. If you take care of the pan correctly, everything will be fine for people, food and the pan.

Frying pan for outdoor cooking. You can cook with or without legs. It is often cooked on a rocket stove
That harrow disk would run another 200 ac at 25 dollars per ac that's alot for a frying pan.

Cracks in the metal due to the fact that most of the electrodes are wrong or the welding wire is not suitable for high-alloyed steels. To avoid cracks, it is also necessary to heat the product to a certain temperature. My part was not thick, it got hot during welding work
