*I think if they did Hugo Strange* it would have to be like “Shutter Island” meets “The Raid” the image of Batman navigating the catacombs of the Asylum with just a match to light the way would be enough to sell me..
Kenny Clips - that’s not a bad casting - but I’m not a fan of race swapping characters cos it’s harder to see the character and breaks my immersion… I’d say Anthony Hopkins or Ian McKellen.. needs to have that voice
I definitely want a Robin in the Reeves trilogy. Bruce Wayne going from not caring about anything except being Batman to becoming a visible figure in Gotham as a philanthropist and father figure seems like a great arch for the character. I think we saw those seeds planted at the end of the first film.
@@Zenapprentice I’m pretty sure that doesn’t really matter. robin has only been bi a few times in the comics and has still done a good job at it so sexuality doesn’t have much to do with character
Christ I hope we don’t get a robin. And I love how you call it the reeves trilogy when the second movie hasn’t even finished filming and there have been no talks about it being a trilogy.
@@Dummyslvrr I think he means the relationship between Robin and Batman. It should be a father-son type of relationship, we don’t need any gay lover vibes.
We need scarecrow because (he needs justice done from the Nolan version), the Batman (in this version) embraces fear, so it'd be a nice twist to see him fight "fear itself", so to speak. We can see the Batman learn the benefits of being Bruce, at times, and being able to overcome his parents death.... Only for scarecrow to really have him face that trauma and true fear. Hugo also needs to be a villain, because he can twist the city into seeing Batman in a bad perspective, after he's strived to finally have people see him as hope. Hugo can also challenge Batman/Bruce into having to really figure out what he's doing and why. On the side scarecrow can be making Batman look bad with his fear toxin (I'd love to see a scene where scarecrow is using civilians as goons and Batman is under the hallucination that they are actually bad guys so his trying to fight the reality and effects, while on the outside it looks like he's beating up civilians).
@Jack Kawf there was nothing to think through. Within the first 3 lines ( because you clearly can't form complete sentences) i was uninterested. It's unfortunate that you need to project your own sad reality onto me just so you can cope, try a better strategy. Stop being a cry baby on youtube, get out of your feeling and get some p*ssy and a life.
I think that this Robert Patterson's Batman should have 6 movies. The Batman 2: main villain Mr. Freeze & Side villain killer croc. At the end or post credit scene you tease robin The Batman 3: main villain Scarcrow & side villain man-bat. You also Dick Grayson robin. The Batman 4: main villain joker & Harley Quinn & side villain poison ivy. You tease Batgirl at the end or post credit scene. The Batman 5: main villain League of shadows & side villain bane. You have Batgirl Barbara Gordon now too The Batman 6. Main villain Court of owls & side villain two-face.
In terms of Robin, either way I’m extremely excited for the future of Dick Grayson and the rest of the Batfamily. For so long I’ve been looking forward to seeing a Battle for the Cowl and Nightwing on the big screen. While I’d prefer to see it all go down in Matt Reeves universe, it seems like James Gunn will take the more deliberate comic route with these major characters and we might get a legitimate passing of the torch years after Batman’s first debut. The Batfamily and their stories are legitimate goldmines for movies that DC & WB has been sitting on, untouched for years
Nah if the Batfamily gets adapted it should be James Gunn.. James Gunn wants to make it unapologetically comic booky and making a grounded version of ghe Batfamily would be a disservice- I wanna see Nightwing and Redhood do triple somersaults and flip off walls.. Batman’s universe was never meant to be this grounded
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”Ephesians 2:8-9“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:13
@@o-wolf where exactly did you read this? I've read nothing about that minus Matt Reeves already having a deal to produce his own standalone Batman story.
First and foremost, thanks for the videos! Huge Batman fan, and I really like the discussions! I like the idea of Scarecrow as the main villain. Bruce said “fear is a tool” in the first movie, and we kind of saw that, but we didn’t see it in a mysterious type of way that we all know from Batman lore. I think Scarecrow being in the next movie could really bring out the psychological thriller aspect of Batman a lot more than we got in the first movie…on that note, the first movie WAS awesome, but I think if they went that route, it could be another dark/thriller type of movie that we all like from Batman. More stealth, more fear related scenes.
When The Batman has already pulled incredibly faithful adaptations and translations of the characters and environments from the comics, the idea of an alternate batman for the DCU worries me. Though I love James Gunn, I just hope him playing air traffic control with multiple batmen doesn’t creatively corner them, and getting in each others way from reaching their prime narrative potential.
I think it’ll be best if they don’t rush Dick Grayson story to him already be nightwing and focus on the relationship of Bruce/Dick as Batman and Robin
@@jackkawf4449 Thanks bro, I agree. Although I will give Nolan credit. Scarecrow was the only villain to appear in all three of the Dark Knight trilogy movies. That’s kinda epic. If done properly, Scarecrow is Batman’s most horrifying and dangerous foe. Even if the plot is another “poison Gotham’s water supply” storyline, I’d still be keen to see Matt Reeves’ take on it. Scarecrow is a nasty, sadistic and smart villain. And his fear toxin is quite literally nightmare fuel. Absolutely savage enemy of done properly.
@@the_shadow_realm5110 absolutely in that regard, I know it's a rather specific scenario and scene, but I always envisioned Batman under hallucinations from scarecrows toxins, while the scarecrow is using civilians (throwing them at Batman or hostages he's just letting run free, maybe being binded or something) and Batman has to fight the visions of seeing them as criminals, while also (to the outside looking in) it makes him look bad, like he's just beating people up just to get to scarecrow with no regards. That's also where Hugo can come in "is this guy a hero, or just some enraged guy willing to do whatever to get what he wants" or something to that effect
@@jackkawf4449 100%. Also, the Arkham video game trilogy handled the Scarecrow and Hugo Strange with respect. I assume you’ve played them, but if you haven’t, you’re in for a treat. All the best and stay vigilant!
James Gunn, should start his batman with a robin movie with batman as a minor character. A robin trilogy. (Robin, night wing and then a batman) with Dick reluctantly becoming batman
Imagine if Johnathan Crane was actually a member of the Court of Owls, like he provides them with elite drugs, and comes up with the plan to gas attack Batman in one of the Owl's underground mazes. But there's a hitch. There's an outlaw who wants revenge on the Court of Owls and sends them calling cards by freezing their members solid...
Hey Boba, great to see the first The Batman 2 discussion series of 2023! I actually have a sort of idea regarding where the BatVerse cinematic universe could go in the future, along with the other spin off series. The Arkham Asylum series (set after The Penguin and before The Batman 2), will introduce characters such as Hugo Strange and Johnathan Crane aka Scarecrow. Thomas Elliot will also make a cameo appearance working as a surgeon at Arkham, possibly setting him up to meet with Edward Nashton. Batman II focuses on Bruce/Batman dealing with the aftermath of the first film and trying to learn more about his family's hidden past that was revealed by Riddler. Scarecrow and Hugo Strange would be the main antagonists, with Penguin being a side plot villain. Killer Croc would be introduced too but as a hero working with Batman rather than a villain (akin to Batman: Earth One). Catwoman mini series will come next (set between The Batman 1 & 2), with Selina Kyle exploits during her time in Bludhaven. After that is the GCPD show, focusing on Jim Gordon and introducing his daughter Barbara Gordon. Finally the third and final Batman movie. This will be the one to bring in Dick Grayson as Robin. The villain line up being Joker, Riddler, Penguin and Harvey Dent now Two Face. Catwoman will return to Gotham for the final film. That's all I have for now. Here's a timeline of predicted release dates for these titles. Arkham Asylum (2024) The Batman II (2025) Catwoman (2026) GCPD (2027) The Batman III (2028 or 2029)
The comics Dick Grayson was taken in by Wayne in his third year as Batman. Bring Grayson into the Reeves-verse for the sequel and I'll be more interested in watching it. Otherwise, I'm pretty much meh after the first one, which is still just a rehash of everything that has come before in cinema.
I'd really like RP batman to be the main batman in the new dcu. Seeing him handle more mystical stuff would be really interesting. Also because he's younger I think he'd pair well with this younger Superman they're talking about.
He was the best batman ever played! I called it n every1 fought me on it he always nailed his roles ! He's my favorite actor ! He's phoniminal so much fucking talent!
I'm hoping at some point Grayson comes around.. Mad Hatter is a therapist that hypnotizes parents and kidnaps kids to become Talons for the Owls. I could also see him being the ring leader for a Circus of Strange. I could see the 3rd film surrounding a "Strange Circus" which could focus on chemical compounds. The Circus theme could also start off or end while including the Graysons while metaphorically referring to Gotham as a Circus. Kind of like a "City of Freaks / Fear" including inmates that escape from Arkham. Mad Hatter would easily be the ring leader of a Strange Circus along side others like Bane , Ivy and Scarecrow. Otherwise he would be good for a therapist that hypnotizes parents and kidnaps children to become Talons for the Owls who are pulling the strings and tie everything together. We can get an idea of who they are following the information we get from that spin off in the near future. But Scarecrow. Bane . Ivy and even Hatter would fit in well with a Circus / Bio Weapon plot along with escapees from Arkham like Joker and Riddler (War of Jokes and Riddles) in the Batman 3.. The next movie NEEDS to focus on Hugo Strange and Mr. Freeze at the very least. Man Bat could also be in the works from the Batman 2's strange experiments then appear in Arkham Asylum or Batman 3: Strange Circus. If they do anything other than medical next and then bio weapons it will fall flat like TDK Rises did
Hugo Strange and Scarecrow would be great villains for the sequel! Could easily have small cameos from other Arkham inmates such as Zsasz appear. Scarecrow and Strange would be great psychological villains!
I'm really hoping they save Scarecrow and other villains they've used before for a 3rd installment. I'd like to see Hugo Strang along with others in the corruption in the medical field making sense of his twisted experiments which could be a gateway to the fantastical. The Batman 2 should focus on Hush, Freeze and Hugo Strange experimenting on someone like Langstrom or Two Face or even Clayface. I would have Harvey injured during the Penguin spin off when he takes on the Maroni case and put him in the hospital bed for the second film. He would be seeking medical attention from Thomas Elliot allowing Bruce Wayne and Thomas Elliot to cross pathes. Viewers would know it's Hush but Bruce would think it's his childhood friend and conflict with himself and sins of the father whle Elliot continues to manipulate him from behind the scenes. Then.. A Miracle cure like Renuyu could be in the works and funded by Rewnewa and introduced by Hugo Strangel. It could be tested on a desperate actor like Basil Karlo if they do manage to go the fantastical route. The experiment would fail and create Clayface making Bruce move forward and cut the funding of Rewnewal forcing Dent to remain as he is... Two Face by the end of The Batman 2. The cutting off of Renewal could also put Mr. Freeze's experiments in jeopardy if the flood didn't do that already. Floods would interrupt Freeze's work and force him to suffer from gangrene and or hypothermia and he would go after those responsible like Bruce Wayne or anyone involved with Renewal. THEN I could see the 3rd film surrounding a "Strange Circus" which could focus on chemical compounds. The Circus theme could also start off or end while including the Graysons while metaphorically referring to Gotham as a Circus. @ChuckBoss201 I see what your saying, and much love to Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow but I'd love to see a more comic accurate based version. I could see Crane working well with Hugo or Mad Hatter, and I would love to see an origin for Harvey, focusing in his DA antics. The Penguin show would make a great fit for him, taking down the mob and maybe his birth into two face at the end of the 2nd or 3rd film. Mr Freeze would be great to include, and Man Bat would be an interesting villain to see, again, maybe Man Bat is a hellish creature, under influence of Cranes gas??? Crane using him as a puppet?
Hey BobaTalks, first off I wanted to say thank you for noticing my comment. Watching this video I have to agree. Timing with this universe is essential and we don’t wanna over do it with villains. I picked Zasz and Mad Hatter since they’re both a good realistic fit for the reeves universe. Zasz being a deranged serial killer, and hatter being a child predator that uses mind control and hallucinogenic drugs to get what he wants. You could easily have a background news headline in The Penguin series like “GCPD finds 3 missing girls in the Bowery, Jarvis Tech detained. Rumored Batman involvement” or something like that. Firefly was also another idea I had. Too many people want The Batman to explore the fantasy elements of the character, but I honestly prefer the dark noire themes Reeves has going on. In addition to Dr.Crane and Strange in the Arkham show, I’d love to see Dr.Harleen Quinzel make an appearance. Have her be a young college graduate, studying to get her PHD in Psychology. Maybe have her shadowing Dr.Strange or Crane (since med students shadow doctors in real life). This would make for a great character dynamic and rich storytelling.
Hey Boba love your videos this is my favorite series much love. One thing i would wanna see is seeing a villain like man bat or killer croc i know it’s a realistic universe but it would be rly cool to see.
My point is i rly want to see a super power villain against robert patternsons batman but not super realistic where he would need to use is brain on how he would take them down or making a plan to do so
Hey Boba, love the videos! Now that James Gunn announced The Brave and The Bold, I think that changes a lot of things that we wanted for this Battinson trilogy. Like Robin and the Bat Family. But most importantly we wanted fantastical villains. But now that the plans for the new DCU are unveiling, it sounds like that's where all the fantastical Batman villains that we want in the Battinson trilogy will reside. Like Clayface, Killer Croc, Manbat, etc. Even though fantastical characters like Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy can work in a grounded world like Battinsons, DC will most likely just go ahead and throw them in the DCU for the more fantastical Batman now. And giving us that full experience. And leave Battinson with the more grounded villains. Which I'm fine with because we can still see villains like Deathstroke, Black Mask, Hush, Scarecrow, and so many more for him. And to be honest I prefer it this way. This means we can see MORE of Batman's rogues gallery in live action because since there's two Batmen now going on at the same time, there's more overall spread.
If anything they should fast forward with dick Grayson as Nightwing so we can get Jason Todd at the end of his Robin on into Red Hood! Red Hood is by far my favorite D.C. character. Just like The Punisher is my favorite in Marvel. Please give us Red Hood!!!!!
Boba, as far as Harvey is concerned, if he is indeed introduced as the potential (then eventual) DA, I think it would be cool if, as part of Bruce 'helping' Gotham's continued recovery post flood, he were to introduce rising star Harvey Dent to Mayor Reál. Perhaps he could do it by having a press conference (since he is now less of a recluse) vouching for him and his record on crime. The difference here would be that perhaps Bruce and Harvey were best friends during childhood , as well as school mates at some point. They then got separated somewhere along the line. It's during this period that Bruce began his training with all the different martial arts masters he learned from, before returning to start what we now know as the 'Gotham Project'. I think a young Harvey/Bruce story would tie in nicely to show the dichotomy of their eventual paths. By the end of this second film, Bruce is shown to have further evolved and matured as Batman from the first film (which is the main focus of this trilogy), and Harvey eventually becomes the tragic figure we know him to be. What do you think?
I REALLY hope that either in the Arkham Show or in one of the movies that they can really do justice to the origin of Harley Quinn. It would be amazing to see a more fleshed out, live action rendition of the dynamic between her and the Joker and how she slowly gets manipulated by him over time. I'd love to see how Matt Reeves would do his take on it.
I'm honestly still expecting that if Matt Reeves includes a Robin, it'll probably be Jason Todd. I feel like Jason would be a more natural interesting choice for the more gritty street level noir vibes of The Batman, and it could be interesting to explore Bruce having to contend with a far more reckless Robin than Dick would be. After all, this is its own continuity. Elseworlds. There's nothing saying that Dick _has_ to be Robin in every iteration on Batman.
I would name drop Barbara Gordon from Jeffrey Wright and I would introduce Graysons at the start or the end of the 3rd installment. But.. I'm really hoping they save Scarecrow and other villains they've used before for a 3rd installment. I'd like to see Hugo Strang along with others in the corruption in the medical field making sense of his twisted experiments which could be a gateway to the fantastical. I would love to see Dr. Hugo Strange. He could be the next big bad, in that, he makes Batman go against other villains so Hugo can study him. I want a type of Hugo Strange that is fascinated with batman, like Riddler, but instead of showing the corruption of Gotham, he is analyzing Batman as he would the prisoners of Arkham.
I know this video is kind of old and this doesn't relate to any topics in the video, but I think Jason Todd Robin would fit amazingly into the darker grittier Reeves universe! I'd love to Curran Walters(the actor who played Jason in Titans) come back to the role now that he's more experienced and knows a lot more about the character!
I have high hopes for an Arkham style Batman acting as nick furry with more screen time. I want a robin in the reeves movies but I think they should save nightwing for the main James Gunn part
I hope that James Gunn lets Matt Reeves put robin in his trilogy because it'd be great to finally see dick grayson's early relationship with Bruce and how their relationship helps each of them heal in a way.
Since he's keeping it more grounded and we're not going to see a lot of "meta-human like villains or superpowered villains" I would like to see Deadshot, Deathstroke, possibly mr. Freeze, professor pig, mad hatter, Victor zsasz! I just want more action from Batman in this second movie!
Have seen several "what ifs" for B2 now and, gotta say, the Hugo Strange as a Dr Moreau type sounds brilliant. There he is in Arkham, experimenting of patients and creates ManBat, Croc, Clayface . He dumps their bodies in the sewers and just wait for the mayhem. But even more, I like the idea of say Penguin hiring Szazs, but meanwhile someone with deep pockets *Court of Owls for B3* has hired Deathstroke. Really a better setup for B3. But I want both now. hahaha
I really just love how much this universe is establishing this whole Gotham world even pushing out with their hbomax shows and potentially the villain movies if those still will work out. Where talking about that I just would love to see Bruce as a father. Like doesn’t necessarily have to have Robin in him because I mean realistically Robin needs a bit of training even though it’s possible could still see him in the trilogy if he either starts as Robin on his own after his parents death and Batman takes him in and trains him for later, or if like understable he’d be capable quicker like the Court was prepping him for becoming a Talon or hbomaz series with possibly a time skip or something but I really also would be happy just to get to finally see Batman just really as a dad and how his past effects that part of his life where with Reeves focusing on his journey I think it’d be a really interesting part of Batman’s life to explore that I think is a big part of Batman’s journey is how he develops from having Robin could also be expressed from him just having a son and how that impacts him.
#ForAllYourPennyworth thanks for another awesome video! I’m not the most knowledgeable about Hush, but I did play Arkham knight. If they did the same thing (hush being pretty much a clone of Bruce Wayne) it would be insane to see Robert Pattinson playing Hush while he’s also Batman! He could show a ton of range and give a really unhinged performance. I think that would be crazy cool
Hey boba love the vids keep up the great work. I'm wondering could we see The Riddler return in a future The Batman sequel and have him evolve into a more classic or sophisticated/charismatic Riddler from BTAS and comics, whilst keeping the darker edge that made his version so terrifying and intense. Especially if they introduced Hush since Riddler is one of the most important characters in that story. They can have him orchestrate the whole thing whilst in Arkham (like in the Hush comic) or have him break out of Arkham where he's then reborn into the more classic Riddler, and gets a suit as well. I'm just a big Riddler fan and really want to see more of him. Sorry for the long comment lol. Love your Riddler hat btw
Penguin… Black Mask, yes. Maroni n fam, yes. But Oz is the head of the Drops business now. And his supplier ain’t too happy. So, Jonathan Crane begins a power grab of his own, with a new formula… Arkham… Open with Hugo Strange, head of Arkham Hospital, in a session with one of his patients-his name is Harvey. Each episode told from the POV of a different doctor (Penelope Young, Harleen Quinzel, Jonathan Crane...), working with different patients. Finale follows an orderly, looking into old files, and finding Martha Wayne’s. Strange takes interest. The Batman 2 (“Fear the Batman”)… Actually love the Hush pitch here. Flooding would also allow the introduction of a more grounded Killer Croc. And I (personally) would love to see Dick introduced in some way, especially since he would act as leverage in Bruce’s journey to becoming Hope. Also, love Leslie! Bruce offers massive donation towards relief efforts. Harvey Dent shows back up, good buds with Bruce. And Batman. Catwoman… Just Selina being badass in Bluhdhaven. GCPD.. Basically Gotham Central. Freeze is there. Maybe Harvey gets Two-Faced. 🤷🏻♂️ The Batman 3… “The inmates are running the Asylum”. A massive break out at Arkham Hospital finds Batman trapped within it’s walls. Every foe he’s put away is coming for him. Massive cast. Strange organized the breakout to study Batman, but is stopped. But wait! The Joker, who has been taunting Batman the whole movie, kidnaps Gordon, and Batman has to stop him. Big finale. (Also, Dick is troubled, angry, and going out at night. Alfred teaches him to fight after finding Dick coming home battered and bruised one night. Bruce sees potential, becomes his sparring partner. BIG CHEEKY FORESHADOWING. Roll credits. Matt Reeves’ The Batman trilogy.) PS. The DCU Batman is older, one who has been operating for a while. Dick has been Robin, now operates as Nightwing, out of Bludhaven. We meet Bruce shortly after the death of Jason Todd. Dick and Bruce rekindle their friendship. #Bromance

I don’t know much about Hush, but wasn’t Thomas Elliot a talented surgeon? I can definitely see a world where he makes a name for himself and acquires wealth through his talent and maybe he just disagrees with what batman is doing to an extent and is born out of collateral damage from Batman’s reckless actions similar to zemo in civil war. I’ve seen some fan castings of Michael C. Hall, who played Dexter, as hush and I think it’s a great casting.
Oh please do Hugo Strange dear director. He has never been done before in the Batman movies. And he is one of the absolute most interesting character there is the Batman universe.
The only things I wanna see eventually is more on Selena like her transformation into catwomen and the last movie I want the big bad to be the court of owls.
I would like to see a young Robin in a similar vein as Daniel Plainview son in There Will Be Blood or even Anthony Quinn's character son in Lawrence of Arabia.
DCU has been such a mess of reboots and origin stories. Thank God Pattinson was Year 2 Batman. Someday we need something further down the line toward the Batman Beyond story.
I think what we need to do for this next movie of Batman is Scarecrow because Nolan really made his whole character develop throughout the Dark Knight trilogy. It practically ended at the fact that Crane developed the Kangaroo Court to practically help the city with the corruption.
I would like Dick Grayson to be introduced at the end of Batman 2 but not ever suit up having the Robin suit being awarded to him for doing something recklessly heroic at the end of Batman 3
Two pitches for Batman 2 One Batman venom where Bruce becomes addicted to venom after failing to save a person Or A more fantastical mr freeze storyline heart of ice
@bobatalks I would like to see Batman at the end of every episode of the Arkham series bringing in a new character doesn’t have to be a main villain or even someone in his rouge’s gallery but would be cool to see man bat or a character that is not a main villain like professor pig or mad hatter
II think we may get a year 2-3 Batman. Like your year 7 idea but I think 7 years in skips a ton of character development/growth. Here's my idea. A 30-33 year old Batman ideally if Bruce first put on the cowl at 25 years old a year 3 Batman has enough experience that he's had his first encounter with Ras Al Ghul, Manbat Hugo Strange, Clayface etc. This way we don't get another origin story (Batman 89, Begins, Gotham, Joker and more its been done more than enough.
I don't think so. I would maybe agree if Crane was somehow involved in the first Reeves movie. But even with that said, Crane wasn't the main Villain in Batman Begins and was rather more of a tool in Nolan's first movie. It would be cool to see a whole story focused around him some day :)
As someone who suffers from a severe mental illness myself and learning control I have fallen in love with the psychology of things be it in any media. I knew about a sequel but not the shows. I'm assuming the Arkham show will be plenty intriguing.
Man, as always you did an amazing job with that video. So much to talk about, but I think one of the things that made me feel better was the first question about Robin. I don’t know why, and probably a lot of people are going to have the opposite opinion, but I think that this entire Robin/Nightwing/Titans plot should be left to James Gunn. Maybe I’m being too pragmatic, but I think that would go according with Matt Reeves vision for this Batman. And don’t get me wrong, I love Robin and everything that comes with him, but I don’t think this is the priority here. I also agree that Harvey Dent should be presented on this next chapter, growing slowly into the mad villain that we know. And certainly Hush would be a very good character, BUT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU, I don’t know what would be the motivation of this character know that his story got changed. Overall, you outdid yourself once again, man. #ForAllYorPennyworth
I hope we get Harvey Dent as a DA in the Batman 2 and then have him become two face in the 3rd movie It be nice to see Harvey be good and help out Batman in a way thru a full movie so when he makes his turn in the 3rd it hits harder
Imagine Robin where they change the circus act into something modern like... a family that does parkour and has built a following on social media. Team them up with the "Visit Gotham" tourism board to promote the city after the flood and rebuild? Aaaaand go...
if they ever decide to bring The Court Of Owls in the future, they better give them this very messed up creepy Cult-like atmosphere to them, considering how dark this batman universe is, maybe they should consider the Dollmaker as a villain, cause I really love what they did with the riddler, (a comedic villain in the comics) they made him very dark and based him on the Zodiac Killer, a serial killer that exists in real life.
1. I’d make Hugo Strange the overarching villain of the “first trilogy”. 2. Doctor Crane can have a long growth development story arc throughout the trilogy. Mainly through the Arkham series. Make him under Hugo Stranges wing. He becomes Scarecrow in the “second trilogy”. 3. Have Joker and Riddler have a cameo yet bigger/important role in the third film showing their escape which leads into the “second trilogy”. 4. Have Harvey Dent in the second film, third film he prosecuted Sal Maroni but gets the acid in the side of his face. Not Two-Face yet until the “second trilogy”.
i want calendar man as the villain, would make me very happy. to be honest i find that the serial killer/mind bending villains will be the best fit for this trilogy. scarecrow could be cool but, i'd like to see him much later in batman's career and have them establish him as a director first.
If they introduced Alberto and Sofia Falcone, would that present some sort of conflict with Selina Kyle, being Carmine Falcone’s other child? Or would that not matter because selina went to blue haven. Also, #forallyourpennyworth
I guarantee I know about Robin. He’s actually in the first movie; the boy who looks at Wayne during the funeral - whose dad dies - watch! Guaranteed! Mark my words. Just had to rewatch and analyzed those scenes. I’d put money on it
I thought for sure they were going the no man's land route but it looks like that'll get covered in the spinoff show on hbo max. I like the idea of having batman in arkham like in the game and comic of the same name. Hugo strange is a very interesting villain, his obsession with batman and genius level intelligence will be cool to see. I can see them adapting arkham asylum amd batman: prey to use Hugo strange in this. Don't get me started on scarecrow, I've been wanting to see a comic accurate live action version for years, as much as I loved batman begins, crane just didn't cut it.
Hey Boba quick question, do you think we’ll see Penguin’s gun umbrella🤨? When you were talking about Penguin betraying Maroni all I could of was Colin Ferralls Penguin shooting him with the Umbrella gun and pushing him over so he can finally become the kingpin and that’s how the series ends!! Love your videos keep them up!
*I think if they did Hugo Strange* it would have to be like “Shutter Island” meets “The Raid” the image of Batman navigating the catacombs of the Asylum with just a match to light the way would be enough to sell me..
Speaking of Shutter Island, Ben Kingsley for Hugo Strange!
@@kennyclips658 hell no! 😂
Kenny Clips - that’s not a bad casting - but I’m not a fan of race swapping characters cos it’s harder to see the character and breaks my immersion… I’d say Anthony Hopkins or Ian McKellen.. needs to have that voice
@@firstlast9846 Ben Kingsley is the same complexion as your other suggestions?
Ed, Edd, Eddy - Ben Kingsley isn’t white
I’m so ready for Matt Reeve’s style psychedelic horror scenes for scarecrow!
I definitely want a Robin in the Reeves trilogy. Bruce Wayne going from not caring about anything except being Batman to becoming a visible figure in Gotham as a philanthropist and father figure seems like a great arch for the character. I think we saw those seeds planted at the end of the first film.
Just don’t make him have gay vibes
@@Zenapprentice I’m pretty sure that doesn’t really matter. robin has only been bi a few times in the comics and has still done a good job at it so sexuality doesn’t have much to do with character
Christ I hope we don’t get a robin. And I love how you call it the reeves trilogy when the second movie hasn’t even finished filming and there have been no talks about it being a trilogy.
@@Dummyslvrr I was talking about Batman lol
That's brilliant and plays well with the Hugo strange angle
No.

I think that this Robert Patterson's Batman should have 6 movies.
The Batman 2: main villain Mr. Freeze & Side villain killer croc. At the end or post credit scene you tease robin
The Batman 3: main villain Scarcrow & side villain man-bat. You also Dick Grayson robin.
The Batman 4: main villain joker & Harley Quinn & side villain poison ivy. You tease Batgirl at the end or post credit scene.
The Batman 5: main villain League of shadows & side villain bane. You have Batgirl Barbara Gordon now too
The Batman 6.

Yay new discussion series video! I think I’ve seen just about all of them
Hugo Strange, Black Mask, and Scarecrow would be amazing in this universe.
Any Batman discussion video is a good video.
If they did scarecrow, I would love for them to do manbat as a side villain just for him to be a hallucination at the end
We need a flashback on the Joker being defeated by Batman year one. It would be such an awesome part of the second movie.
Great vid boba!! What do you think about Stanley Tucci playing Mr Freeze. I think he would be perfect; great range and looks the part.

watching this after the confirmation of the robin we’re starting with in the DCEU is actually Damian is wild, can’t wait for thoughts on this
Lol the Batmans trash
Batman 2 is going to flop just like Batman 1
Love your commentary and the discussion bro. Keep it coming!
Thank you for introducing my comment Boba! Really appreciate it 😁
Awesome conversation 👏 and discussion video Boba Talks 😇🙂👍😎🦇
I think it’ll be best if they don’t rush Dick Grayson story to him already be nightwing and focus on the relationship of Bruce/Dick as Batman and Robin
When you mentioned this in yesterdays stream I kept an eye out for the notification 😂
The Scarecrow would be an amazing enemy in the sequel.
Hugo Strange would also be a great addition.
A true analysis of fear.
I agree, plus scarecrow needs justice done to him, he's got so much potential and the Nolan version was a huge let down and reduced to fodder.

James Gunn, should start his batman with a robin movie with batman as a minor character. A robin trilogy. (Robin, night wing and then a batman) with Dick reluctantly becoming batman

I can’t wait for the second. So bummed it’s so far away
Arkham Asylum (2024)
The Batman II (2025)
Catwoman (2026)
GCPD (2027)
The Batman III (2028 or 2029)
The comics Dick Grayson was taken in by Wayne in his third year as Batman.
I personally would enjoy it much more if pattinsons batman was in dcu.
Mad Hatter and Doll Maker would be my favorite villain duo for future batman film.
Kind of like a "City of Freaks / Fear" including inmates that escape from Arkham. Mad Hatter would easily be the ring leader of a Strange Circus along side others like Bane , Ivy and Scarecrow.
My point is i rly want to see a super power villain against robert patternsons batman but not super realistic where he would need to use is brain on how he would take them down or making a plan to do so
We could see a cameo for batman in the penguin series
This means we can see MORE of Batman's rogues gallery in live action because since there's two Batmen now going on at the same time, there's more overall spread.
i think that seeing harvey gets scarred at the end of the batman 2 and having it lead into the arkham show would be epic.
We need to see the whole Batfamily but that would take 3 trilogies or 10 movies
I think it would only take 2 trilogies at most... Very possible! Maybe 4 movies and a series
I would name drop Barbara Gordon from Jeffrey Wright and I would introduce Graysons at the start or the end of the 3rd installment. But.. I'm really hoping they save Scarecrow and other villains they've used before for a 3rd installment. The first of the year. Good discussion video.
3 villains I want to see work for him, 1 Scarecrow, 2 Freeze, 3 Deathstroke
But if we’re talking about freaks that can work for him, I’d say Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Clayface
Fantastic video keep it up your doing amazing job
I know this video is kind of old and this doesn't relate to any topics in the video, but I think Jason Todd Robin would fit amazingly into the darker grittier Reeves universe! I'd love to Curran Walters(the actor who played Jason in Titans) come back to the role now that he's more experienced and knows a lot more about the character!
I have high hopes for an Arkham style Batman acting as nick furry with more screen time. I want a robin in the reeves movies but I think they should save nightwing for the main James Gunn part
The concept art is so sick jeez
Hey boba I love your vids been watching you since 2014
I hope that James Gunn lets Matt Reeves put robin in his trilogy because it'd be great to finally see dick grayson's early relationship with Bruce and how their relationship helps each of them heal in a way.

But I want both now. hahaha
and If he does Strange, just make him an immortall at this point . Apparently he has died in every comic episode he's ever appeared in.
Here comes Harvey Dent.
Gotham needs a new DA. I wonder who will play him in the tv show.

Looking forward to more videos
This batman surprised me. Had low expectations, but this was good.
I love the riddler n they mad fucked him up I was furious af... the ridler from gotham nailed as well as penguin they should have cast!!
They need to be careful bringing in Robin, it's gotta be the same but a bit darker his suit needs to be done right
I want to see man bat as a sort of side villain or something they just mention in the next movie
Penguin… Black Mask, yes. Maroni n fam, yes. But Oz is the head of the Drops business now. And his supplier ain’t too happy. So, Jonathan Crane begins a power grab of his own, with a new formula…
Arkham… Open with Hugo Strange, head of Arkham Hospital, in a session with one of his patients-his name is Harvey.
The Batman 3… “The inmates are running the Asylum”. Matt Reeves’ The Batman trilogy.)
PS. The DCU Batman is older, one who has been operating for a while. Dick has been Robin, now operates as Nightwing, out of Bludhaven. We meet Bruce shortly after the death of Jason Todd. Dick and Bruce rekindle their friendship. #Bromance
Man Bat could also be in the works then appear in Arkham or Batman 3: Strange Circus. If they do anything other than medical then chemical it will fall flat like TDK Rises did
I don’t know much about Hush, but wasn’t Thomas Elliot a talented surgeon?
Just tell me where you get those extra BTS clips was it with 4k dvd. Please reply
I would like Dick Grayson to be introduced at the end of Batman 2 but not ever suit up having the Robin suit being awarded to him for doing something recklessly heroic at the end of Batman 3
I'd like to see Batman hang dong in the beginning of the movie
👎🏻
Two pitches for Batman 2
One Batman venom where Bruce becomes addicted to venom after failing to save a person
Or
A more fantastical mr freeze storyline heart of ice
@bobatalks I would like to see Batman at the end of every episode of the Arkham series bringing in a new character doesn’t have to be a main villain or even someone in his rouge’s gallery but would be cool to see man bat or a character that is not a main villain like professor pig or mad hatter
Hugo strange is the most under appreciated bat villain. He’s creates half of the Gotham villains in his lab
Hugo Strange will be interesting, seeing his name is Dr. Strange
I feel like a duo does not fit this iteration of Batman. Batinson should be a lonely vigilante Batman for at least one other movie.
Crane in Batman sequel would hit close to Batman Begins no?
I don't think so. I would maybe agree if Crane was somehow involved in the first Reeves movie. But even with that said, Crane wasn't the main Villain in Batman Begins and was rather more of a tool in Nolan's first movie. It would be cool to see a whole story focused around him some day :)
I wanna see Robin & Batgirl
Ryan gosling for two face would be perfect
Would he be??
Maybe that's why the Riddler said Bruuuuce Wayneeee during the interrogation scene?!
I hope we get Harvey Dent as a DA in the Batman 2 and then have him become two face in the 3rd movie
It be nice to see Harvey be good and help out Batman in a way thru a full movie so when he makes his turn in the 3rd it hits harder
That image you got for scarecrow in the thumbnail is freaky, looks like a deformed spider face made of stitched burlap
Do you we will get The Court of Owls
As far as separate universe in the DCU..(Hughe ZS fan) 😘.. I love this movie.
Ive always thought the theme for yhe New Batman movie was more suited for Scarecrow on holloween night.
i want calendar man as the villain, would make me very happy. to be honest i find that the serial killer/mind bending villains will be the best fit for this trilogy. scarecrow could be cool but, i'd like to see him much later in batman's career and have them establish him as a director first.
I’d put money on it
Javier bardem as Hugo strange ?
