Trailer Camping at the Sand Dunes

- We spent 3 days at Coral Pink Sand Dunes in our trailer and riding Blue. We show our attempt at cooking a stir fry meal on the Cobb Grill but the grill failed to heat up enough so we finished cooking it in the trailer and it turned out great.

Another beautiful scenic adventure. I hope you had some down time to just enjoy the scenery as a couple. Looking forward to the next adventure.
What fun, love the campground. Your stir fry looked so yummy, need to gather most of the ingredients this week. Thank you and many blessings to you both
Pam, as long as you’ve got propane you eat! - stir fry looks good! Jim, you’ve been itching to get out… I could tell.
I am encouraged by what people are doing to reclaim desert areas like this, from the Sahara to South Texas. They make the deserts green again so that it is no longer a depressing waste land. It is so alien to me. What a dichotomy between those dunes and the lush green of Florida. We will be heading to a Florida state park to camp soon, and exploring a fresh water spring. I want to get a Cobb, and I love doing stir-fry meals also, with locally grown produce and maybe a citrus-based sauce.
Thanks for your comment.
Just a suggestion, back blue into your camper if at all possible. It is a lot easier to drive and know your surroundings when going forward instead of backwards in an unfamiliar place.
There's a car in your living room!? Good maneuvering, Cap'n Jim! 😯
What a beautiful destination! I love hearing the story about the hotel hosting the Hollywood stars.
I must say, I was holding my breath when y'all got stuck, especially after you mentioned there being no cell service. I'm glad Jim was able to coax Blue to make it back OK.
Thanks for taking us along on another trip to the dunes and for showing us that delicious stirfry (even though I had seen the one on RRH).
That's a very nice camping spot.
Pam.. have you thought about doing a LOW CARB KETO SERIES OF VIDEOS.. ?
Your so brave. I’m always afraid I would tip over in a buggy. lol. I’ve been in the area before to go to Bryce and the Grand Canyon. Do you yell at Jim to slow down. I would. Lol. I bought a Cobb and have tried it a couple of times and I love it. Thanks to you
Fresh stir-fry is a favorite way to use the veggies I need to use up. We love the Pink Sand dunes and clifts, such beauty! Blessings
Thanks so much!
I was raised in the desert of Idaho and lived here for 73 years. But I find it hard to appreciate the desert landscape. I married a man from Tropic Utah so we have been to the Kanab area several times…..but I never have been a fan of exploring sagebrush, sand, dirt and weeds , etc. I’m glad you enjoy it. I prefer grassy, green, lovely shade trees and gentle flowing Mountain creeks. This has been interesting, but not for me. But I enjoy your two Chanel’s and am an avid fan. Be safe on your desert travels.
P.s. I know Blue is new and a young fellow…..but he sounds like he is dying of old age.
Hi Pam & Jim! Thank you for letting us tag along! The beauty takes one’s breath away! I hope the problem with the Cobb was only the wind. Thank you again for sharing your wok info on RRH. I ordered the wok using your link and it came today! I will be making stir fry tomorrow. 😊
Thank you for including us. I so enjoyed the replay.
I'm itching to get our trailer out of storage.
We de-winterized our a little early this year because I was feeling the same way. Thankfully we have not had any more hard freezes.
Ours has been out for a couple months here in Southern California. We’ve been out four times! Bring on camping season!
Thank you for taking us with you. I hope you find out what happened with the Cobb. If wind is a factor, this might not be the best back up plan for anyone who lives in a windy area. There really wasn't a way to block wind where you were camping, so if we have a way to do that, it might be fine. I am not a fan of Asian food, but that stir fry dish you made looked yummy. I might have to try that. I'm sure my husband would love it. Thank you, again.
Prof Pam⚘️
Oh I so enjoyed my outing with you all😅
Thanks Prof Jim...
Always #teamcantrell ❤
Thank you so much.
That stir fry looked wonderful! Made me hungry watching it cooked and plated. ❤
Thank you 😋
Does anyone know the brand of the Mason jar vacuum sealer that Pam uses? I can’t seem to find it in their Amazon store. Have a blast on the road, Pam and Jim!🌹
Here is the link for the one I think you want: amzn.to/3NHkLza
@@trailgrazers3690 Thank you!
12:28 great reflexes Dr Pam!! Thanks for taking us along!
LOL! That darn wind!
Pam and Jim, Its good to see your prep work done to make meals on the trail easy. The grill failure shows how great it is to have a backup plan. I tried your recipe from your other channel but used pork instead and it was soooo good.
Glad to know that. Pork will be our next stir fry! Thanks for sharing.
We love stir fry! What a beautiful view!!
Us too! Thanks for watching.
Beautiful pull thru site. Love your helmet, Pam. Looks like a blast!
Thanks so much!
It was so cool watching the road in your sunglasses.
LOL! Thanks.
Love Kanab! We stayed at The Perry Motel it was so neat seeing all the stars names on the cottages!
That is so cool! We have never stayed there.
Enjoyed the video!
THE WIND JUST KEPT YOUR COBB TO COOL
Yes, we think that was the cause.
What a great way to camp!!
Thank you! We enjoy it.
Looks like a great getaway!
It really was...in spite of the wind.
Looks like fun
We had a great time.
Gosh, how do keep from getting lost on all the dirt trails?😊
We orient ourselves to the nearby cliffs that can be seen from all the trails. It is easy one you get the hang of it.
My husband and I have been looking at campers. What type of camper do you have? Looks like a great way to travel.
We really like the arrangement inside our trailer and it is very easy to haul our toys. It is a Weekend Warrior--the second one we have owned. They are very well made.
Don’t buy Covid built new many are having trouble, and stay away from Camping World.
How fun! Jim's a little Speed Racer, isn't he?
Yes, you nailed it!
