I loved every minute of this summer solstice sunset dinner on a cliff side, including a strawberry moon and a cherry spitting contest adventure! I especially love the playful interaction between you two. What an inspiring example of a thriving, long-lasting marriage.

Possibly sitting in the comfort of Blue avoiding the bugs, but enjoying the view! I am obviously a wannabe outdoor person. 😊 ….. (70’s) Your videos are such an enjoyment!
I think it's great that you two found each other. It occurs to me that given that sunset is almost 9 o'clock right now, this was a pretty late dinner. 🙂
In the 60’s we called it “lookout point “. 😉 You can buy sugar free pie filling. I get mine at a local family run grocer, but I believe you can find them at Walmart. I’m diabetic and I make crumbles and cobblers. My family really can’t tell the difference. 🥧
I am pre diabetic just completed a 15 week classes for type 2 and pre diabetes. Our county Department of health services applied for a grant to sponsor this class. I have learned so much, down loaded the Atkins carb counter so I can keep track of amount of carbs in most foods. Lost weight and have more energy. Love the no sugar cherry pie filling, made a cherry cheesecake using ricotta cheese. So yummy

The origin of this nickname can be traced to the Algonquin tribe of N America, for whom this moon marked the beginning of the strawberry picking season. In Europe it is sometimes called the Rose Moon because it signals the beginning of the rose harvest.

I cracked up at Pam saying “ let’s have a cherry pit spitting contest “ that was hysterical !! Such wonderful to a kid at heart ! You both are adorable and so sweet together !! A friend and I used to take a small cooler full of cherries and go for a ride, spitting pits out the window as we went.....without having the slipstream catch them and blow them back in our faces. Yeah, we were among the easily entertained. 😄

I do so admire (envy?) you two! I’m such a weenie there’s no way you’d catch me sitting on a high rock with my feet dangling over any cliff … with scrub bushes and empty dirt land all around me. My heart would be in my mouth and my head would be filled with all kind of scary thoughts of the 1000s of snakes, biting/stinging creepy critters about to pounce on me!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing the experience with us, just wish I had more courage to try it myself. Btw, for dessert, I’d put half lemon/half cherry in each tart for a lemon/cherry tart. ❤
Very awesome - but . . . did you freeze dry mayo in the potato salad? We were told you needed to use the mock mayo with cream cheese because you could not use mayo -We must have missed a video of you doing the potato salad. What a gorgeous place you live in!
I get so irritated that people who are near 80 years old w/ not a ton of years to lift, still trying to lose weight! Just eat reasonably and don’t worry about dieting. Enjoy your last 5-10 years eating good food.
A long time ago I read an article that stated the reason women have a harder time losing weight is because we are made to carry the future babies so our bodies hold on to the extra weight to nurture a baby in case of low food resources. I have no idea if that is true but it made sense to me so I just have to work harder to lose weight.

How would your little pies taste if you put the lemon curd on the bottom and the cherry filling on top? Seems it would be the best of both.
