Hopefully the players are grinding to get 3 better in every area of our game. Just keep getting better and better and we'll see where we end up at the end of the year.
I feel like the schedule will allow us to find a little groove and work out some kinks before we hit the meaty part of our schedule. I will be elated with a 7 win season, anything more would be a bonus for us... GBR!!

If 7-0 start becomes the narrative, we will hear the complaining come October if they are 5-2 and that would be a shame.

Call me crazy. I know what everyone is saying. Tony White and the Husker defense gets it done and the offense is good enough. Nebraska beats USC in Los Angeles.
Reality…Huskers can win a Natty with top 20 classes. No looking at top teams in the playoffs in past years…they were coached well. Nobody talks about Texas, Auburn, FLst ect. That pull top 5-10 classes and can’t win 7 games! Great example was Clemson..when they started getting top 1-5 classes with huge 5star guys…I made the prediction that they would slip. The stopped focus on character and instead stars. They fell with more talent! Huskers Natty teams for 20 years had walk-one, 3 stars and a few 5 stars. Great coach(with a playoff stlyaten may have won 10 titles). Strongest when they had great QB’s….watch out over the next 4 years! Playoffs in 2024 is the goal
I'm predicting 5 and 7 again. We'll go 5 and 2 in the first 7. And in current Nebraska fasion drop the last 5. We hear this c*** every year preseason. They have yet to win the over since 2016. They have to prove it on the field.

I share your enthusiasm! We have about 3 weeks till the kids are back in school, and then it’s a LONG month until kickoff.
you mean most hyped season of your life, I was there in 95 we were really hyped up and were the team to beat
I expect 11+ if they dodge the injury bug

It's not hype, it's discernment and analysis. This team could open at 7-0. Stop letting your hurt feelings from killing your joy.
Spot on comment. All this hype just makes for an angry fan base. Suddenly achieving the Vegas W total would be considered underperforming.

Why do use data from last year? We aren't last year's team. This is about NOW.

Im thinking 7 maybe 8 but ceiling is 10. I completely understand how you feel though.
