@@AlHusker Tho OLine Harbaugh put together at Michigan to win him the Naty was special . They were big strong and fast with uncanny quickness The score against Bama wasn’t indicative of how that line dominated the game. An NFL line . Bama had a National Championship team last year. Michigan was just better. Little bit better. The O line was the difference. BIG offensive line controlled the game. They were on another level adept at both running the ball and pass blocking. I’m a Nebraska fan . Only in 1996 did Nebraska have an Offensive Line that compared to it . IMO. GBR
The secondary, special teams and offensive line play (late) or lack thereof against Illinois, is the perfect demonstration of why recruiting is so important. Just because you can play the piano, doesn't mean anyone can turn you into Mozart. Stars matter, because talent matters. Let's hope a solid kicker comes along too.
I am not sure it matters who we recruit, as long as Ed Folly is coaching special teams. He already got a solid kicker, supposedly. He has two kickers and neither can make kicks. The coverage units struggle, but Ed’s solution is to not kick the ball out of the end zone. Awesome plan! We have no return game. We have a punter routinely directionally punting to the wrong side. We can’t figure out the long snapper. Could someone please explain to me what Ed actually does and how any aspect of special teams has improved under his direction? Please explain
Why does our recruiting seem to be getting worse? Pelini and Frost etc always had us around 20th. Now we’re always 25-30. It’s weird because our brand and hype seem to be trending up a lot.
Thats cool, but I think about the same thing I think every year, more bigs and I follow some recruiting, but guys decomit all the time. They are not huskers until they get to Lincoln. (Rouse, Carlin Jones, etc...)
You have to remember that the number of recruits impacts ratings as much as the individuals rankings. Huskers have a lot of freshmen, rs freshmen on roster, we may not be taking a huge number this cycle
They are going to lose guys if they keep blowing games to the likes of Illinois. I don't think they know how damaging a loss like that can be to recruiting.
@ChosenPlaysYT yes it killed Illinois recruiting. They were able to pick up some in the transfer portal. Nebraska got out coached and out played by a lesser talented team but better coached team.
@ChosenPlaysYT Illinois use to be top 10 recruiting, like Nebraska back in the day but like Nebraska they have struggled recruiting and constant coaching changes.

I want to build the trenches, especially the O line.

Opening pipelines to Missouri, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and California are vital to Nebraska’s Success in recruiting.

Well I am shocked how bad the offensive line was Saturday
@@ginova11 I feel Alvano has to kick a 50+ FG to win a game and build his confidence. He has the leg it’s all in his head . GBR
Great content! Thanks, Wilson! GBR! 🏈🌽🎈☠️
Rhule is doing great work. 🎉

We need a kicker
Ranked currently 27...Frost recruited a class ranked 20th
And most of them washed out.
And I'm pretty sure our class last year was ranked higher than this year
That one year 3 didn't even make it to spring

Play a few highlights while breaking it down. Just a suggestion
Fortunately, I have film reactions for that exact purpose.

Almost all teams are going to lose some close games, unless you are ohio state or 3 or 4 other programs that may make it thru season with 1 or 2 loses
We blew out Illinois last year did it ruin them? Basically every team in the country drops games.

@@robertwestling2467 No it didn’t, Illinois finished right in the 40-55 range like they always do.
