Have to say mate, that vid was straight to the point and gr8 feedback. I have a wildlands tent on my hilux and love it. Everyone's different and good to see. I'm now a subscriber.👍
Subbed mate, you seem quite genuine. Thanks for the information on your channel. In fact as of today I've decided to drop money on my new tray, canopy & roof top. Your movie about the purchase & if it was worth it, sold me. Cheers Dennis
Thanks heaps for the sub 👍. Seriously best thing I ever did and even the missus agrees now. I’m interest to follow your build and fit out. Keep me posted. Cheers 🍻 Jeff
Strooth, I can't believe I haven't commented on here yet! 🙄 I'm back to watch this again & yes, I have watched all of Terry's videos too (in fact, this RTT is what lead me to his channel, which I love) Anyway, thankyou for this run down of the Bundutec, after wanting one for ages & trying to save, Guess what my wife has got me for Christmas 😁 So I'm now about to "bite the bullet" & am looking forward to using it. I will also be buying the Bundusuite, though it's a shame the ends do not roll up, or even link with the bunduqube, so I might even ask the question if I can have them custom made. We tend to base camp more than tour but the whole idea of this as you say is to be flexible. Thanks again for your review!👍
Great vid Jeff ! We're looking at accessing via our camper trailer draw bar at front of tent. Dya think the door privacy annex you set up will also work across the front door as opposed to side ?
Killer setup, really cool electric setup. The only thing i think is a drawback is that awning. It seem small and a hassle to set up. For a setup like this i would have thought they would have a 270 degree awning like alucabs shadow awn
True, the add a room is an optional extra. We have never used it. We run the darche 270 awning as well. Provides plenty of protection from the elements.
Love the video mate, thinki it is the way I will go and thanks for posting, just as a side note one other poster mentioned your breathing I noticed it as well, maybe a program to get your health back on track would be a good idea, cant do much from a hospital bed and diet is usually the first thing to get right.
@@jeffntashadventures3438 Certainl didnt mean to preach to you Jeff but the penny dropped with me many years ago that your health is the most imortant thing you have and a lot of the time we ignore it till we haven’t got it and some times that is too late and us good old boys are to precious to lose. Thanks Abs for your feedback. RTT weighs approx 85kgs excluding solar panel but including added room and TT brackets. I have zero issues or concerns with this weight. Cheers 🍻 Jeff
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the great Vid. I am just about to deck my Iveco twin cab 4x4 with a canopy and have decided to go a Bundy King. My questions : how have you found Mitz Alloy to deal with for your canopy. Were they fexable with design. Have you bolted the Bundy directly to the canopy top or on a rack?. Finally i can visualise wanting to enter from the rear of the tent. I am wondering if the add a room awning could be mounted across the rear of the king size model. Again good luck with your vids.
Hi Frank. Found Mits good to work with however they not really into customisation all that much. They have a range of core products and options. I had the tradie rack option with the canopy from Mits and bolted the RTT to that. Lastly I’d expect the added room would be too long to go across the back without modification or something custom made. Cheers 🍻 Jeff
@@jeffntashadventures3438 Thanks for your reply Jeff. It gives me more info to work out what to do. My tray width on the I'veco is 2 mtrs so when I visit the Sunshine Coast to Buffalo Fabrications for a canopy measure up I think Bundutec are near by so I might buy a unit and take it to Buffalo to fit at same time. Cheers.
Awesome review and awesome rig, I’ve been looking at getting a Mits alloy canopy set up for my hilux and can’t decide on the rooftop tent, I’m torn between the new ikamper 3.0 or the bundutop. I love the simple set up with the bundutop, I may sway that way. How do you rate the Mits canopy, anything you would change now that you have had it for a while? Il hit subscribe
Gidday Derek. Its just the regar size mate. Pleny big enough for 2 adults. Im rather large too, no issues. Depends on ypu purpose, i wanted to minimise tthe width for 4 wd purposes. I havent seen a king one on a vehicle ive liked so far. Looks out of place imo. Absolutely love it though. Thanks for watching. Cheers Jeff
@@jeffntashadventures3438 thank you my friend it looks to be the larger size so there is plenty of room in the smaller one thanks again have a great day
Awesome review mate, if you get sick of it, im on the gold coast so its not too far for you to bring it down to me.....lol. Serious question though, does it have a failsafe for if the winch fails you can still open/close it?
We decided against a roof top as I reckon I would get pissed and break my leg on the way out for a piss after midnight sometime, lol . We sleep in our rear canopy but it limits space for sure.
@@jeffntashadventures3438 - Jeff that's the one question I wanted to ask you - my wife is concerned that as we are slightly older (early 60's) but still fit & agile how have you found the climbing in & out of the RTT - no issues?
Hi Jeff, just discovered your channel and really enjoying your content great work. Are you able to send me name of business you did the 10% gvm upgrade. I’m thinking to do the same. Cheers

Awesome tent!!!!!
Perfect setup with the jack off canopy. Roof top tent with room is cool, for me I will be getting a custom made fold out rooftop tent.

11/10 for that setup mate! The Bundutops are the ducks nuts! Comfortable and efficient!

Got the the king size but that added room is a life saver when it's raining.
Thanks for the feedback George, good to hear it’ll come in handy 👍

I would think so?? They’re import to Australia from South Africa 🇿🇦. Thanks for watching cheers 🍻
Thanks for vid. What is overall height of vehicle mate?
How does the awning fit to the RTT, did you have to drill into the aluminium frame
Awesome set up I’m getting lazier the older I get I would definitely get one if my kids were old enough to stay in a swag

Maaan..Aussie's have the best offroad kit!
Look at ARB Base Rack . Around the same price as a Rhino and Tough .
Thanks Doug, will do. 👍
Hi Jeff, good video! How long have you had the Bundutop ?
About 3 months now. Love it!
What about when you want a leek during the night?
Gidday Les, no harder than unzipping and get out of the swag or a tent for that matter. Thanks for watching 👍 cheers 🍻 Jeff
Damn that tent going up felt so damm long lol.
The arb base racks are just rated for offroad eg, ARb 80kg for my FJ or Rhino 23kg. And a cheaper cost.🤐
Thanks Chris, I’ll check them out for sure. 👍

Way to expensive
