Bundutec Bundusuite Setup Tips and Tricks

- Getting my Bundusuite fitted today at Eddies Auto Marine, Bundutecs South East Queensland Retailer at Australia, Eddie offers a setup demonstration and tips and tricks on setting up and packing up the Bundusuite including the added room roof.
The Bundutop Suite is the largest shower(ensuite) room of all the shower cubicles I've seen. Measuring at 2.1m x 1.2m apx weight 6kg.
Can be used as a standalone dressing room for your privacy needs, or in conjunction with the Added Room roof for a fully closed entrance to your BunduTop.
Easy to pitch like all Bundutec products, unzip the bag, roll down the canvas and pull the canvas tables towards you to fully open. An additional frame in the bottom gives you extra rigidity, so the canvas does not blow against you in windy weather.
The BunduSuite also offers a front mesh panel for ventilation. While designed for the Standard and King BunduTop, it will easily mount to any roof rack.

Gear built for our extreme conditions,
For example yesterday I setup in my backyard while it’s raining, awning, Bundutop, entrance cover and Bundusuite to show my mate.
Soon after it started raining heavy and a storm blew through with high winds. Very strong winds.
I had no concern, the Bundutec gear handled it with no issues.
Love this gear. It’s gear you can rely on when the conditions get tough.
Awesome set up you got. I'm from South Africa and purchased a off road trailer with the same tent you got. Unfortunately I have to wait until December before I can use my new trailer. Work in Texas USA and only going back home in December. Super excited

On ya Phil! I've been soooo keen on the Bundutec especially on discovering the Bundusuite! it would suit our set up well (bar a couple of small details) so I'm happy to see an in depth video on the set up & pack up of it all. Good Job!! 👍👍

I've seen these before as Eddie was testing and helping to design them a while back before they where released, I thought they would be to heavy for my vehicle, but there only about 5.5 to 6kg. Perfect for my setup.

Looks great phil, awesome shower tent best I’ve seen, hopefully I can have a look at the Mrbuckaroonie’s camp up if that’s okay, still in the market for an awning, not sure what to go with I want a 270 awning that has forward fold as well, I like the bush company but it’s getting expensive, I want to try find a bushwakka darkness in person as well

Yes. there is lot's of room. and it's lighter than the competitors that are half the size.

Hi Phil, just received the added room and bundusuite from South Africa. I was wondering how do you install both to the bundutop? Can you snap a picture of the installed bracket for me to have an idea. The instructions come with it, is hard for me to fallow. Thank you my friend.

that’s not a Akubra hat. it’s a wool hat I purchased on sale at the local camping store.
Is there any maintenance required? I live in Alaska and am debating about pulling the trigger but wonder about extreme cold?
So far, I've not done anything maintenance wise.

Thank you Phil, I am living in newfounland,Canada. I bought a king size bundu top tent from the dealer in nova Scotia ,Canada. So I contacted the sell person several times to buy the bundusuit, and he don't have it , I have been waiting for two years. So now I am dealing directly with the company in sout Africa. Very friendly customer service.

Yes, it is.
It can also be mounted to a roof rack if you don't own a Bundutop.
Love the setup but way to much weight for a 4x4 roof ..good on a canopy rated for more then 100kg
It’s not to much weight.
@@PhilsCampingReviews 68kg for tent assuming it's the standard size, 28kg for awning, 7kg for ensuite another couple kgs on the tent awning , 4-6kgs for roof rails 111kg and that's not including any other bedding left inside ..
@@PhilsCampingReviews vehicle roof ratings are not necessarily about the structural strength but manufacturers put 1 in place for COG (centre of gravity) which is calculated by manufacturers on the standard height of the car for safe on road use..so any vehicle that has a lift kit and bigger tires etc raise there cog and technically should be lowering there roof rating...I certainly wouldn't want to swerve to avoid a accident or take it off road even basic 4x4ing with that kinda weight

Thanks for the specs for the ensuite, Phil, however, do you know the weight of just the top added room section in its bag (fitted to the top of the bundutop)?
I can’t find weight anywhere on Bundutec website.
