After your review and testing the Debanding, Upscale and Denoise features on Photomator I bought it for iPad to complement Lightroom Mobile and Affinity Photo... I was SURPRISED to see Photomator edits images ON an external SD card... Awesome ❤
@@takebetterphotos8132Photomator with its card only editing helps as I only have a 64gb iPad Mini 6 and the resize tool ensured I get crops resized nicely. I also find it's Denoise/demanding sometimes works better then the sliders on LR Mobile when I have hundreds of edits to do, in, say low light..? at £29.99 for a year, a bargain..?
Recommend you test LR mobile and Photomator and NEW Capture One (with layers and masks).. in my tests using backlit drone RAW images (48mp) from the mini 3 Photomator Denoise was very poor.. especially colour noise.. LrM was very good with some colour and good detail retention, but C1 was streets ahead.. plus mask layers are an improvement. I now use LrM for well lit images and those that need much PP like cloning and item removal.. C1 for low light and drone images.. Photomator now just the upscale for well cropped images.. all on my ipad 6 64gb.. look forward to your opinions..🙏🙏🙏

Photomator is supposed to have aI denoise--I thought that would be an advantage. That will be a nice idea though for a future video though--best denoiser on mobile. I will give a better opinion after a thorough test!
I really like Luminar on the desktop, so getting the mobile version was the logic next step. That was until I found out it was subscription only, something I am not a fan of at all. Today I was pleasantly surprised Luminar mobile is also available as a perpetual license. I must agree with your review though, Photomator for now has the edge when it comes to features but I like the quick and easy workflow in Luminar. Let’s hope the features in Luminar improve over time, and looking at the way they have been doing this for the desktop version, things should be looking good.
Well you are right, it seems luminar is now offered as a perpetual license. I guess customers made it loud and clear they don't want subscriptions. For sure, this will only get better as they already have the features on the desktop. Hope they work though on making the editing adjustments the same across all devices. The RAW editing was waaay better on the desktop.

I didn't know that. What was missing in Lightroom that you needed Photomator. I thought they had a similar feature set.

I see, yes definitely LR Mobile has no AI denoise. That is a plus for Photomator.
