That's one lesson my daughter's father taught me , as you said , he said the same. You never know who else might still have a key. From then on , I've changed the locks so only I & mine have keys . 🤗🤗👍👍❤️❤️❤️
@@trollolol705as an American. I completely agree. I saw this when my greedy, rich parents kicked me to the curb at 18 without a moments hesitation. For the first time in my life that showed me how much they really cared. I was a good kid too I didn't cause problems. It made it extremely difficult to get ahead in life. I lived out of a tent for almost a year before I found an old abandoned house to live in.
@HomelessinAmerica one step one breath one day at a time things get better don't give up it wasn't all that long ago my whole family was took a lot of deep breaths most days but with enough effort and hope and reaching out to resources we got a place. You can too never give up always look forward and always push hard
Story 1: I can’t believe that we have another person who just doesn’t call the police. Like he tried locking him in his room, then tried to stop him leaving, then tried to lock him in the truck, then ran into the woods.
Common theme with these stories. BUT, would the cops honestly do anything? After all, the guy was renting the house from that other person, so technically that guy can do whatever he wants in his house. I mean he’d have to prove he got intentionally locked in, and even if he did, you’d have to prove some sort of nefarious intent. Cops most likely would’ve just said flip the lock around when get a chance then leave without arresting the guy, which would only potentially piss off the roommate to actually do something dangerous
i tell my computer screen...call the cops! all the time although i live so far out in the country that the cops just dont want to come out here now since 911 addresses became a thing in 1991 its better but they still come out here with attitude and very slowly. before 911 we called them bcz a neighbor on either side of us were shooting at each other and we were hearing the bullets hitting the house and they still haven't shown up and that was in 1981!! we called 5 or 6 times and they kept saying they were on the way so i guess aliens got them or something??? idk but if these op's live in a city or town surely the cops can show up! btw those rednecks moved and we dont have trouble like that out here since the 80s but we have had a neighbor get robbed and it took forever for the cops to even show up.
@@Lawrence_Talbot no. Just cause one owns the house and the other is renting doesn’t mean they can whatever they want, especially when that includes imprisonment. Do you lack common sense???
If these stories have taught me anything, it's how few people have self-preservation skills. You'd think that people would realize when a situation isn't right and potentially puts them in danger, but no. They either don't have any sense outright or they gaslight themselves into submission.
story 1 why would you stay knowing it locks on the outside ... and if he felt unsafe why rent it out ...then he stayed the night. sorry i had to vent this one out .*thanks for uploading today*
tbh I would. After hiring a U Haul and then unpacking everything and to be talking and planning for weeks only to just give up straight away. Although I think even though he text and talked to the guy daily, I still would have liked to meet in person at least once and view the house too before moving in
When you move into a new house that was previously owned, change the locks ASAP! Even if the previous owners are okay, they may have relatives, dog-sitters, etc., with spare keys who aren't so trustworthy. As a True Crime nerd, I'd probably have a field day with that third story's neighbor. Binoculars and Ring cameras everywhere! And the cops would get that footage.
I’ve been watching his channel since November 2022 I stayed home alone for the entire 3 weeks my parents came back 3 days before thanksgiving and when I discovered his videos they kept me entertained lol I love your channel bro
These are creepy stories. Your voice is perfect for story telling…I love it…the last one kinda made me chuckle in the beginning. My dad has insomnia and goes outside at night a lot, usually to smoke or just get some fresh air. Until the guy started trying to peep in the windows, it reminded me if my dad and his nighttime walks!
That first story is crazy! One of the best ones I've heard in a while. Wow, dude really tried to pull down the Uhaul door on him. lol. He was relentless! It's the fact that he failed the first time, but tried again to kidnap him the next morning that is horrifying but also somehow hilarious.
Could've sued you for damages though and I think he wanted to sus the guy out first...see if he'd let him out before attempting such an act (that might've injured himself as well).
Get an alarm system and cameras. I personally would get my conceal carry license and get a revolver. I mean don't just get a gun. Get a gun and learn how to use it.
Very common in lots of these stories that the person always falls asleep when something creepy/terrifying is happening which is the complete opposite of what u should be doing.
His new Editing since it’s delayed videos by a few days alga’s left me so off track to watch the videos😭 but I’m so happy your uploading man, idk what I would do with out you, I would never get sleep
Story 3: “He was standing on a ladder, trying to look into my bedroom…” Should have absolutely been followed by “I opened the window and pushed as hard as I could, watching the man fall 25 feet onto my driveway.”
Re story 3. No way I would have politely put up with that creeper for so long first instance of staring at me and as I am a woman I would have asked what his problem was. And added in a few expletives if there was a next time. Most creeps back off when you show you are not intimidated. Love your vids by the way
I hate the police policy that they can't do anything until something terrible happens!!!! It happened to a girl I know, she was being stalked by her ex but he had never had any trouble with the law and they said there was nothing they could do. He ended up following and attacking her, luckily he didn't kill her! Then he only got a few months n was back out n she was terrified
Homegirl needs to get herself a gun. A piece of paper or waiting for the police doesn't do much when you're dead. People like her ex are highly likely to attack and kill them.
I don’t know if this qualifies as a horror story but here it is. I answered an ad for a roommate one night. The lighting was dim and I did not have a good look at the inside of the house. I decided to rent the room and spent the night there with a lot of my stuff crammed in. The owner was a woman with a young adult son. They seemed very nice. The following morning I was in for a shock. The sofa and chairs were dirty and covered with what looked like grease at the top. The floors looked like it has never been swept and mopped in years. The stove and refrigerator were dirty on the outside and dirty pots, pans, and dishes were piled up in the sink. We were in the living room talking but I decided to sit on one of the wooden dining chairs. As we were talking my skin was crawling because the whole house was dirty. There were a couple of mice running around in the kitchen. I went out and looked for another place that same day and found a nice place to move into. Although I had paid 2 months rent I decided to move out that same day even though I was not getting a refund. That was one of the most creepy experiences in my life.
I can only imagine walking into a house and finding my new rental room with the lock on the outside and thinking nothing of it. I mean talk about being lost in the sauce.
Story 3: the way he says “it’s over now”. 😂 you sure bud? Dude goes to jail for what? Being a peeping Tom? Okay so he has no priors meaning he’ll be out maybe 6 months even if he serves that. Yeah wouldn’t be surprised if this neighbor comes back with a grudge. Get a restraining order and a gun. Then you’ll know that it’s actually “over now”
I find it interesting that there are so many UA-cam stories in this genre which contain the phrase "I didn't know what to do/think" (or similar). I have encountered some multiple-story videos where two or three of the tales therein used such phrases.
In the first story: This must have been before 'Google Maps' and that must be why he was unable to 'see' the place before arriving to move in. ...And cell phones must not have existed either because as soon as that Evan-Bastard locked me in, I would've called my brother and then the police.
I really don’t know how amircans could live without parents and keep looking for apartments themselves i swear in my country u don’t leave ur parents house if u were sane and it’s always ur house and what u call home how could his brother in the first story he called him nice enough to let me stay with him????!!!!!!! 😮 he should though 🫠
I tell you what was going on with the first story dude didn't live at that house it was probably open or an empty one and some batshit crazy guy was squatting with him when he moved in and he was planning to make him into a creepy lampshade, gravybowl, and skin couch if he didn't leave when he did 😀😀😀💀👊😎🤘🤟

Story 2 the person was an absolute imbecile. I could see maybe the very first time the door was unlocked but second time? No, Im calling the police and getting a new lock and deadbolt same day.
Story 3: two weeks and you didnt think of getting armed in someway or installing security cameras?! Lucky the dude was just a creep, but best believe he did anything else, he would get the receiving end of some buckshot

1st thing to do when you move is change the locks!!!! U never know how many people have a key to your home!

Story 1 - a door is locked from outside, not from inside!? Yikes isn't that like a red flag there? That was dangerous!
In the 1st story his brother should have let him stay with him until he found a new place in the 1st place.
