Stories like these can really make you think about how important it is to choose the right place to live and be mindful of your surroundings. In real life, I've heard stories from acquaintances who have faced unpleasant situations in rented places. For example, one of my acquaintances moved to a new apartment where neighbors were constantly throwing noisy parties. He tried talking to them, but with no success. This situation significantly affected his daily life, and eventually, he decided to move to another place.
One time I was tired from school or work, can't remember which, that I accidentally pressed the wrong floor number on the elevator. Without noticing, I walked onto the floor as if it was mine and to the door that would've been mine had it been the right floor. I started trying to fit my key in the lock and wondered why it wouldn't fit, and in my head I panicked and thought that I would have to talk to security downstairs or call my landlord. I kept trying to fit the key in the lock, then noticed there were plastic things sticking out the door. I thought, "No way, did my neighbor glue gun my door?!" Cause in the past I had a neighbor leave a note on my door accusing me of smoking and getting the smell in the hallway, when I don't smoke at all. I also used to have loud neighbors who played weird music and seemed to be playing billiards late at night or that's what it sounded like, so I was drawing conclusions based on neighbor history. Still thinking someone glue-gunned my door for some reason, I tried using my key to chip away at the plastic. I eventually noticed it was the wrong unit number then realized the plastic things were likely part of those door hangers. I immediately walked away and headed to my floor, two floors down. I really hoped no one was home when I did that and I'm glad I was not confronted if they were. Looking back now, I wonder if I spooked some people, making them think I was trying to break in.
Dude that story was too scary. Please never make a comment again. After reading this, I was so terrified that I was put in a coma for 5 years. I woke up yesterday.
This reminded me of a time I moved into a new apartment and one night when I was coming home I exited the elevator to see a man in a coat just loitering in the hallway. I quickly went into my apartment and I thought it was weird. So I decided to after a little while to peek through the peep hole and he was still there. Her was just standing around the hallway. I decided to just spy on him and he acted really weird. He would just stand in weird places or move to the corner or close to another person’s apartment. It was super creepy. Anyway story for another day.
@@hislvr it’s even weirder to walk back and fourth in a hallway in a apt building that you don’t even live at 💀🤦🏾♂️💯if dude lives there he has right to see it the man left. Most people are up to no good nowdays especially if you don’t live around in that area. You defending something like you did that before lol you’re weird
Great job on the horror stories. I'm excited if you do like a true Valentines day horror stories or a st Patrick's day horror stories also too. But great job on the the horror stories night time spooks
Story 1: No one would live there with a landlord like that Story 2: Scary Story 3: Steve is creepy Story 4: Something was wrong with that woman Story 5: I would have moved out too
The last story reminded me of a house in my neighborhood that would blast their noise so loud you could hear it from my house, It happened often in the spring and summer. I always thought they were deaf. I always call the police each time they do it, they would blast their noise until the wee hours of the morning and don't get any sleep until they were done. I would never go over there and confront them. Let the police deal with it - if they even do. Sometmes I don't think the police in my city care or do anything.
I had a neighbor that showed up at my window, my curtains were open and I wasn't paying attention. I actually jumped seeing him there, I did report him and he was evicted from the apartment building after he was fighting with neighbors and causing scenes there. He was a troubled man, even my mom didn't like him she said stay away from him and yes I did.
Story 1: you may like not having to live with a landlord who sneaks in in the middle of the night anymore but what about the other tenants? OP said there were 8 units and all had to move out. OP, by calling the police, who found out about the illegal activities, made those other tenants suddenly not have a place of living anymore, right? It's not OP's fault, but if I were them I would have a massive amount of guilt still
I guess it’s better to have to move then have a landlord creeping around and possibly sa someone. I have kids and I would rather move out then stay somewhere unsafe especially for them. Just sayin.
Trying to find a house/apartment in this economy is a horror story in itself
😂😅
I agree
No lie 😭
Typical rentoid
So true 😅
Just got out if a 2 year relationship got my own apartment living alone. These stories are fitting...
Story 4: FINALLY someone who does everything right.

400 a month would be a dream come true... even the cheapest apartments in my tiny Montana town are all over 1000
