In this episode of #Gallivanting we're shopping at market day in Jagodina, Serbia. This bustling market comes alive every Saturday near the city's center and it just happen we were there in early fall when there was an abundance of locally grown peppers.

MAN! How in the hell did you end up in Jagodina? Welcome to Serbia, you ROCK! How do you like Serbian farmer's markets? Seeing what is called a "farmer's market" here in Minnesota brings a smile to my Serbian-born face. How about those amazing, yummy fresh cheeses? You HAVE to try "KAJMAK". Ask for it!

My good friends are from Serbia, so I had to make a trip. I tried many cheeses, smoked meats etc. Reminds me of the Caribbean with the simple way of life. That said, the women in Belgrade.. 100!

Ah yes and those cabbages which you said you've never been successful at growing. Here in London, England they are sold in flower gardens as ornamental plants often in window box displays. leaves me wandering whether they are edible especially as they are very hardy and the slugs and snails don't seem keen on them.
