All five of these fellas have music in their bones and grew up pursuing various types, both vocal and instrumental. Austin Brown (high tenor, center) and Tim Foust (bass) have acapella deep down from childhood. Rob Lundquist (low tenor, glasses) first sang acapella after college, and Adam Chance (bass/baritone -back left) fell into acapella accidentally, being asked to sing bass for the sing off tv show with Streetcorner Symphony. Adam Rupp (beatboxer) and his brother Chris founded the group while Adam was still in high school. They needed a beat boxer so he chose to learn how. He now has 24 years of experience and learning. Adam Rupp also sings harmony in songs without beatboxing. Chris Rupp left for a solo career in 2016 and was replaced by Adam Chance.
They are the best! I don't even think of them as an acapella group anymore but just my favorite band! Subscribed with hopes for more Home Free reactions. Yes, headphones are necessary with these guys because there are so many sounds in the background.
Subscribed for Home Free. The songs they choose to cover and even their original songs have great lyrics. And they really stay true to the original spirit of the song. They recently released a cover featuring the original artist, Don McLean called "Vincent" which is a tribute to the painter, Vincent Van Gogh. It is one of the most lyrically beautiful and moving songs ever written. If you want to hear a great message in song, give it a listen. You will not be dissapointed. As you have observed, they just don't write music like that today.
Not only Adam can beatbox every one of them can do some beatboxing. Chance The last man on the video was beatboxing the jaw harp. Welcome down the Home free Rabbit hole. So many songs to check out. Next, Boy's to Men's " End of the Road" is a really good one. Good luck From a Home Free, Home Fry ( this is what their fans call themselves)
Headphones! Yes!! You should always use headphones when listening to Home Free or the other top a cappella groups. There's A LOT going on, and you'll miss juicy details if you don't block out extraneous sounds and focus on what they are doing...100% instrument-free.
This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Not only do they do awesome covers but they also have a lot of original songs as 3 of them are songwriters.
Home Free is my favorite group and they are the best. Austin the high tenor Tim the low bass Rob low tenor and Chance the baritone, Adam the beatboxer. The harmonies are great and they are great singers. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
They’re so good. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off which was a show showing the talents of a cappella singers in a competition. Adam, the beatboxer, started beatboxing 24 years ago while in college. They started Home Free back then. Love them! Good one! 😍
I was raised with the music of the 1940s, 50s and 60s...it was the best music. Check out their "Go Rest High on That Mountain", "Ring of Fire" and "Blue Ain't Your Color".
Subbed for more Home Free, best all-vocal band out there imo. They are the real deal and even better live. Please do more Home Free reactions [with headphones if you have them ;)]. "The Butts Remix" shows their silly side; plus it's musically brilliant. Thank you for such a wonderful reaction to the guys!!!
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, now that you've tasted one song, here is another one for you. Try the song Listen to the Music by Home Free. Once you try this one I know the list plus a few of the solo songs. I'm new to your channel so I will see when you check out my request.
OK, I subscribed for your enthusiasm - I remember scraping dust from the floor with my chin when I first saw a cappella (Pentatonix). As for how they make the sounds - I've been known to make sounds on waking, but that wasn't it. Guess it's up to you. By the way, hej fra Danmark.
Hi young lady, it's probable that HF's beat boxer (Adam Rupp) is of alien origin. That's the only explanation possible. Hope you will be able to do more HF!
wow! onlky 2 days ago! Loves me a HF Man of consstant sorrow reaction! I suspect you kind of changed the speed ... You have not known Home Free until now? Wow! If you afe not averse to a slightly not-so woman friendly ( but still definietly not misogynistic!)k thing: check out no. 1 Home Free, champagne taste (on a beer budget) or the "Butts remix" !! lyou will have fun!

Your intro is entirely correct, and we know we're fortunate for the music. (X/Boomer right on the line here can be either)
Oh yeah but this later rendition of this classic is frickin' awesome, and great reaction!
I came across your channel great job 👍 I'm 80 years old.
