If you actually watch this video, you will see how my girl starts out by being so energetic and upbeat to arriving at the end, totally taking her to her knees and that is the power of The Bee Gees hitting the soul and heart where it counts. It actually will make you a better person. Much ❤ to you girl!

Tears of joy, I understand. I watch this over and over, if I am having a bad day, it never fails to forget my problems and listen to something so beautiful that it makes me cry and yet cheers me up greatly. I often recommend this to friends but I warn them to have their hand-chef ready or a box of tissues. She is magnificent and will bring a tear or rmany tears to your eyes. I have watched and rewatched this many, many times and it still gets to me.

Screw how it ended.. look at how it started and how the world got involved straight after arab-muslims started it in the 13th century and forced islam upon the black people and in the 16th century started the white slave trade as thats where the word slave comes from and if they haven't of started it no-one would of joined in

Love back then was believable. Other then some big things like do you believe in God, and how where you both raised and belief on family and goals in life… if those things were similar or workable we didn’t over analyze, we fell in love naturally. I’ve been married for 44 years, happily. Sure you have ups and downs, but you stick through it together and grow together. A long term commitment and love is most satisfying from beginning. Your smart enough to know if the guy is a player, just dump and more along. There are plenty of men that want a good women. BeeGees are fantastic! ❤

This is my first time seeing your channel and I just Love your reaction to this awesome song. I noticed that you intently wanted to close your eyes to take in the complete harmony and melody of this song. I was actually thrilled to be able to gaze upon your beauty while enjoying this song for the millionth time. I am a baby boomer totally mesmerized by this great Rock group known as Led Zepellin. They will go down in the annals of history as classical Rock and Roll. 200, to 300 years from now their music will be looked upon as does Mozart, Beethoven and the other greats except that they will be a thousand percent more popular. There never has been 4 great, magically talented musicians whose music changed the world like Led Zepellin has. They lasted 10 years and when they lost their drummer, the remaining 3 members agreed they could not continue. You are a very beautiful women and I pray God bless you and your life with health, joy and goodness...God Bless !

It's an emotional song for me, too. I couldn't listen to this song for over a year after my wife died. She passed away from a sudden stroke two years ago in June. We were married for almost 23 years, and I'll never get over her, and she can never be replaced. Barry Gibb, the lead singer of The Bee Gees, has been married to his wife, Linda Gray, since 1970. 54 years.

Emma has clearly impressed you, this was the first time Emma had performed on Andre's stage, she came to his attention as a result of her winning Ministars, singing the version of Voila she'd learnt phonetically, as she doesn't speak French, she liked the words, that version of Voila is on UA-cam ua-cam.com/video/rOKVK4o-vf4/v-deo.html When she met Andre at his studio, they agreed she would perform Voila in the summer concerts in July, this recording was made on the first night, so not only was it the first time she sang with Andre's orchestra, it was also the first ever live performance of this version of Voila, Andre, his team and Emma massively changed the song, they slowed it down, changed the tempo, added the key change and repeat of the final verse, and that gave Emma the time and space she needed to truly LIVE the song on the stage, the emotion is so deep, it's not absolutely the right description, she is powerfully vulnerable on that stage, you can see it in her eyes, her whole body is living it, and it has to be an incredibly hard heart that's not touched by what she delivers. This also triggered another huge change that's ongoing, there were 12 performances in July, the next day Andre invited her to also go to Malta for 2 concerts, to be a part of his Christmas concert series in Maastricht, and to also be a part of his 2024 world tour of 75 concerts. Emma's health has been impacted by the illness, she's on tube feeding 22 hours a day, so the 2 hours she can be free of them are precious, and she pours all of her emotions, good, bad and (her words) plain weird into her singing, it's her therapy. She's still tiny, 1 Mtr 42 height, and around 50 Kgs, on stage she's usually wearing 12 cm heel shoes, and her illness has also impacted her stamina, she doesn't have the reserves that would be normal for her age, which means there are days when more than 2 flights of stairs when carrying the equivalent of a boat anchor, or even a long walk, as is the case at places like airports, they can be a problem, and she ends up using a wheelchair to avoid being over exerted, she has no visible signs of the illness, other than her reduced height, but it is a delicate balance, there are days when she can experience intense pain, and she dreads and hates the regular 'mickey button' replacement operation, it's a minimum of 30 minutes of intense pain if all goes well, longer if there are any issues, and that happens at least twice a year, she refuses anaesthetic to avoid any risk of damage to her voice, for a long time, she didn't like talking about her illness, or pictures of things like her pumps and tubes, but in recent times, that's changing she has been letting pictures of the tube replacement appear on social media, There is a lot of different work by Emma on UA-cam, a number of powerful songs with Andre and the orchestra and they are all absolute class, but one of the most touching events was a special commemorative concert in September last year where she was 'honoured' to be asked to participate, a remembrance of the 8000 Americans who gave their lives to liberate Holland in WWII. She sang 3 songs, there are 4 videos on UA-cam, and the first song, a Demi Levato cover 'Father', she gives a deeply emotional and poweful performance of a difficult song, liberation concert Introduction to the concert ua-cam.com/video/e5HBdHX6bew/v-deo.html Father ua-cam.com/video/y554GsqMHj8/v-deo.html Hero ua-cam.com/video/iYVEIXwNmT8/v-deo.html You Raise me up, duet with Nico Wouterse, notable for the closing line by Emma, 'I will tell them, for as long as I can' ua-cam.com/video/baH0JQsLo3c/v-deo.html Another incredibly touching song by Emma was recorded a couple of months earlier, on the death of a close friend Angela, another gastroparesis sufferer, Emma recorded this short a capella song, and put some comments in Dutch with it, when I translated them, I admit, it broke me, and for her to be having to cope with these emotions at 15 must have been so hard, the words that really hit me were the ones she finished the song with, the discussion was between Emma and Angela, now in a new place, and she's singing about 'if there's a bar there where we can sit and talk, and watch the sun' things like that, and then she closes with a deep moment, 'Yeah, I know, you'll tell me when I get there', she having to face head on that her own life expectancy may be impacted by gastroparesis, she is an incredibly driven and determined young woman, she absolutely has a vision for her life, being a singer, and she's not about to let anything get in the way of that, she is determined to rise above any and all challenges that the disease throws at her. When I Get There - @PinkVideoVault Unaccompanied short, very powerful, a song about the passing of a very close friend, given Emma's own situation, so incredibly deep and moving, just incredible. Translation of the note in Dutch, 'Last night my dear friend Angela became a star! 💗 I'm going to miss you incredibly much, but every time I look at the starry sky I know you're looking back 💗' ua-cam.com/video/0nIpN86mw6E/v-deo.html Emma's first single was released 12 months earlier, it's deeply emotional, expressing her desperate desire to be free of the pain and restrictions that gastroparesis imposes on her life, there are several versions on UA-cam, the best one for me is a studio version, ua-cam.com/video/Zcxan9R5s4E/v-deo.html and the deepest emotions are between 2:02 and 2:40, she sings, 'If only for a day, or even for a count of 10, I'd just like to live as another,', that desperate desire to be free, to be able to soar like the butterly that's the theme of the song, to emerge and become something new, soar high into the heavens, free, and unrestrained by the old life form, the chrysalis emerging from the cocoon, and becoming the beautiful new life that can become what it was meant to be, and in the song, her eyes close, she gently shakes her head from side to side, and then her head goes down as she is forced to face the reality that for now, there is no freedom, no escape, there is no cure for her diseaase at the moment, no way to become the other that is her dream, and she falls silent for a few moments. Then, her head comes up, and in the song, she soars to a new high note, and recognises that she has a choice, and her choice is that she will NOT let her disease define her, she will not give in to it, but like her newly emerged butterfly, she WILL soar into the heavens, and become the singer that she knows she can be, and she indeed does exactly that, she rises above the limits, the pain and fears, and the New Emma emerges, and I like to think that the first time she walked out on to Andre's Vrijthof stage to sing the new version of Voila for the first time, physically she did indeed walk out, but mentally, she was the new Emma, wearing that stunning black dress, one of 4 that Andre had made for her, in which she felt 'strong and powerful, the New Emma soared like the butterfly of her dream, she lived the dream, and delivered the performance of her life. Andre had worked his gentle showmans magic, the Emma that walked out that night was very much different from the Emma that had appeared in a number of events since winning Voice Kids in 2021, she'd been appearing as a good, strong and capable girl singer, this night, Andre helped Emma make that difficult transition from being a very capable and good girl singer into the young woman he knew was ready to emerge, as she walked out on to that stage, mentally, she was the butterfly emerging from the cocoon it spent so long in, and the New Emma that walked out onto Andre's stage emerged and soared, she was visibly and emotionally a beautiful, strong, powerful, serene, composed, competent, driven and dedicated young woman. Then, and this is the good part of it, at the end, just for a moment, the 15 year old girl emerged again, and she turned to Andre, threw her arms wide, and her look said it all, 'How was that?' Andre's eyes, his smile, the hug, the kiss, the one word, 'Fantastic', and the call back to acknowledge the ongoing standing ovation from the audience, they said it all, Emma had massively achieved a new high, she truly had arrived, and this was the start of her dream becoming her new reality. I close with what's becoming my signature when talking about Emma, she deserves as much support as it is possible to give her. Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl Please, if at all possible, join me in making a (regular) contribution to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease that has affected her from birth, and requires her to be tied to the pumps and feeding tubes since she was 9 MONTHS old, for 22 hours a day, hopefully, the work of her foundation will find a cure. One of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day. It will be so good if the work of Emma's foundation can lead to a better treatment, or even a cure, which will free her to do more singing, and it may be people here who make that possible.
