The anodized red aluminum parts look absolute amazing with your camera work - very nice video review. I'm super happy with my Sprints (with the brilliant HRS pedal pads), but it's always greatly enjoyable to watch the development of such products.
Hey Will, I just wanted to comment on the lighting it looks really good in this video! Nice and bright and clear. I love the accents on the ceiling too.
Given these are as good as my local sim hardware manufacturers (max 20 minutes up the road) I took a stab at the GT v3.0 pedal set when I wanted to go high-end for the first time in 2020 and they were a great bit of kit - but at the time those still relied on DiView for calibration, and I felt like in hindsight I wasn't the right kind of customer really (I'm just a sim racer in my spare time despite my hopes and dreams once upon a time lol) - so in the end sold them and switched to the HE Sprints which cost about A$1,400 at the time (vs $1,600 I think it was for the GT's) Great to hear they're still making quality products, but yeah I think as much as I'd love to support local, I'm probably not the right kind of customer still
"Who are these for and who is our target audience" is a question pedal manufacturers often fail to ask themselves...there's no valid reason to buy these next to tested and proven HE Ultimates or VRS which are cheaper too
Thanks for another great review, Will. The pedals look great, but the price seems hard to justify on both sides of it. VNM, VRS, & Simagic seem like they get you most of the way there for significantly less, but if you’re trying to buy once, the price almost gets you into ActivePedal territory.
Great review as always! Personally, I don't see the point in getting load cell pedals for that price range when for pretty much the same amount of money you can get the Active Pedal Pro + Passive Throttle. Moza and Simagic will be releasing their own active pedals, so in less than a couple years load cells will be only used in entry level setups
Anyone else also miss barry from sim racing gararge? It's a shame he no longer does sim racing stuff, especially since the mass boom in the last year an a half, there is SO many products coming out now, his vids would have been so cool to watch.
I don't miss him hiding the fact for a long time that he got paid for every review. He called it a "production fee" but that's just semantics. As soon as it became common knowledge his viewership plummeted.
I know I’m not the first to ask but can you do a review on some ACTUAL budget items? Like those Ghost Phamtom pro or the Simjack pedals? A few less popular content creators have featured items like this but nobody goes into detail like you. lol. And as we all know, we don’t buy anything that you haven’t reviewed yet 😂😂😂
Yeah as well as mods like 3D rap mods for cheap pedals. And also methods like Sigma Cortex for Simagic gear. Id also love to see your comparison to here. For example, can CSL pedals with mods compare to such and such
My best bud drives V8 Supercars for Erebus , about 2 years ago and his sponsor organised equipment and a sim rig and loaded him up with simworx gear. I own 3 active pedals and absolutely love them, but the simworx pedals are easily the best set of pedals in the market outside the active pedals Simworx make the best gear, the shifter is brutally good! The button boxes are sick, the haptics shit all over sim magic Look they give us gear regardless of what I say about them but there gear is genuinely some of the best shit around! Anyone thinking of pedals or shifters they are the best on the market no bullshit ****BUY THE BILLET ALUMINIUM PEDALS PLATES , carbon isn’t the best **** Will think it’s just either you or your set but the adjustment was easily done by 1 person on the sets we are using with haptics Blasphemy to compare Anthony sim magic to these dude, love everything you do but I ain’t with that
You lost me the moment you said that these cost more than HE ultimates. I have HE U + and I can say that they are grossly overpriced for our current market. If a pedal set doesn’t have top tier features (DD motor etc) I don’t think anyone should be spending more than $800 US.
Very informative as always! :) Although most of the things you review are way outside my budget. I believe Simagic will be launching some affordable pedals sometime early next year. I hope you'll take a look at those too.
Awesome video as always and these pedals look amazing. That being said I am pretty sure my VRS Pedals will outlive me and I am super happy with them, so my wallet can survive another day. :P
Will, do you know who is representing the company in the European region, where one would get it? Thanks mate, for the reply and the review of course as well!!
Man my Heusinkveld Ultimates + are unbreakable, elastomers still going strong even with 100KG brakeforce on all soft rubbers. dampers etc all still perfect, changed with Simcore wide Pedal faces in orange color and now it’s perfect. Little bit sqeeking here and there but overall very good pedals
Hey will, first thing is i love you and love your videos . At 20:56 you said bottom groove is the stiffest and top one is the softer one , from my experience with pedals and obviously logically thinking about the leverage point shouldnt it be the other way around? As in the lower the leverage point the easier it should theoretically be pressing the pedal? And obviously that would effect the throw as well
No, what I said is correct. The lower the leverage point, the less leverage you have so the stiffer the pedal feels. The manual states “For a firmer and shorter pedal press, lower the cylinder in the adjustment slot, for a longer and softer pedal press, raise the cylinder in the adjustment slot. :)
@ just to make sure, i had just tested this on my HE ultimate clutch and throttle (as the brake pedal does not allow to change the angle of the shaft) and just like I mentioned , the lower the shaft was positioned the significantly easier it was pressing the pedal and longer the throw was , which again makes sense as you have more leverage. Just like with a shifter for example , the longer the rod and the lower the leverage point is relative to the length of the rod the easier it will be to engage and the longer the throw will be .
They look amazing but I don’t like how close together they are due to the base plate being undersize in my opinion. That doesn’t mean it’s undersized to whoever reads this comment and thinks they need to get offended by my opinion.
@@boostedmedia i have nothing but love for what you do and the fact you was upfront about it. i just hope you revisit them in the future with retail hardware.
Really, the prices are slowly getting ridiculous!!! Just to drive a virtual car while sitting in front of a screen. And yet it's still just video games! 🤦
This is all too much, what pedals should I target with a budget of ~$800? Many people recommend VRS, others say simjack is enough for a noobie like me ...
VRS bro without a doubt in my opinion I got Asatek Forte pedal set and I love it took a little to get used to them because the break felt like pushing against a wall 😂

The optional Simworx billet pedal pads are made by HRS 😉
@mrnismo75 nice!
We've had a set of these pedals for a couple of years. Great pedals and well thought out design.
I'm gonna get my first sim setup soon and I can't wait

Can you guys look at the simgrade vx-pros? They seem like a direct competitor to the vrs pedals since they both use springs
Yep. Have a set. Will be on it ASAP.
Please do a review of the SimWorx V8s Shifter! Great Video and interesting pedals!
I originally wanted to buy this as well, I had a good impression of F1 V3.1, and then I bought the VRS pedals considering the price and reviews.
They certainly are a good looking set of pedals.

Simworx, very nice 🍻
LOL $2500, I literally bought my first real car for less than that
Outside of these pedals . What pedals do you think have the most realistic feeling clutch ?
Simcraft tilton 3 pedals ?
For that price I could just get the simucube
Will had a hurry on 17:41 😂
review these for us bro, we are about to change them to sell them but they will be the same, trust me bro....
In fairness, we had these for about 5 months before we got around to the video. Very busy at the moment.

At this price, I am surprised that no HAL sensor is used here.
Day 1 of asking for a review on that F-Type in the back.
It’s a Lotus Emira. We covered it in our recent studio tour video :)

Australian $
Meh. Active pedal and passive from simucube close in price. I wouldn’t buy them. Vnm would always be my personal recommendation.
