@@danielcase2189 I think that what he meant (but I could be wrong) was that after purchasing the rights to the simicube technology they then used the simicube hardware, such as the motors, quick release system etc etc, but then added their own software, which was more advanced and gave better response and feedback. Nothing wrong with the heusinkveld pedals…. And there’s no need to have 2 active pedals.. i have the ultimates + and just switched the brake pedal out for the active pedal, and kept the clutch and throttle . It all works great tbh
By no means do I think I'm an expert in Sim Racing hardware. But, from what I've read and seen from guys that really are at the very top of their game in Sim Racing, the Heusinkveld are absolutely right up there at the top of the tree when it comes to SIM Racing pedals.
Your rig is awesome there's nothing wrong with your base dude it's in my opinion one of the best but Fanacrap can go the way of the wind that's really the only thing you'd need to upgrade
to be fair the only thing he needed to change is the wheel and the pedals. the rest are perfect. he wont even be using 17+ nm, look how skinny this guy is. he's gonna crash by 16nm
Imagine being talked into taking off a better base to replace it with one that uses that companies old tech and then making a video explaining how it's an upgrade. 😂😂
I have the Simicube, I couldn't see upgrading to a stronger base... I Hve it turned down as it's so strong as u want it. What would be the reason for going stronger FFB?
bro needs the best pedals, to trail brake and get that muscle memory. the best force feedback to feel the movement and to modulate the over/understeer of the car. yet he uses the racing line and hes been at it for 2 years. he hasnt even got past his rookie licence, he just races AI. im not trying to hate, he seems like a chill guy but come on
Great video. Couple of questions… what is that remote called that you used for controlling the PC settings? Also why not use bezel free kit for the space between the monitor? Is it not so good?
Man, few things annoyed me about this video, but the main two are saying Asetek software is an upgrade from simucube is pretty crazy.. also, your monitors having a gap like that is annoying.. vario VESA’s adapter kit is a a must for the monitors.. sim-lab are the ones i have but, trakracer has their own version now.. you also don’t need to change your rig to use the free standing triple monitor stand .. unless u want a different color idk
At this point I'm thinking this is just a hype video for podium. Nobody that has any knowledge of sim racing would say the stuff he was. He either incredibly dumb or gullible maybe both. Or he got all that for free to make this vid for them.
I just went live on the same upgrades, HE+ & Invicta. My wheelsides just came in to convert all my wheels over from Simucube. It’s NOICE. Ps - I went with a combination of the Asetek Bottom and Tilt mount. That front guy has too much flex.
Haptic feedback just doesn't compare to a top notch motion sim (anything over 3 DOF). Haptic feedback is basically taking the bass from the audio output in the game and using it to vibrate the back of your seat. It's pretty much like bolting a sub box to the bottom of your seat. 😂😂 Haptic might be a neat little addition to a motion sim. But it's definitely more of a 'as well' and not a 'instead of'.
Dude, you have no clue what you talking about. Simucube is not better than Asetek. They deliver the same quality. The only benefit you have on Simucube are the tons of profiles you can get. On the Asetek bases you have to build your own settings but in the end they deliver the same feeling.
@@iPain3Gwrong again. Asetek uses simucubes old/original software. Like a base line. But simucube is different. Plus I would do some research b4 pretending like you know what you are saying. Simucube is better regardless of what u have convinced yourself of.

I stopped the video when he said he wants to replace his Simucube because it only has 17Nm, this Podium1racing stupidity has gone too far, from saying that Asetek wheels are Carbon fiber when they are plastic, and the wheelbase is even worse since it's just a VRS wheelbase with old Simucube firmware and worse electronics... Stop misleading people!!!
The Invicta wheelbase is hands down one of the best wheelbases you can buy atm (improved Simucube motor) and the Forte wheel is very high quality, and infact has a composed material of glass, carbon fiber AND plastic ofc. Now on the looks part that's where I agree, the Forte's color scheme isnt up my alley but its a high quality wheel.
Dude could barely lift up the base. But thinks he needs 27nm base to use 3.9 in-game on iracing. His little arms were shaking just to hold it. Hahahaha 😂😢
You realize most irl race cars dont have that much force in the wheel? Most are probably in the 5-12nm range like the gt3 you are in. Only ones without power steering like a indycar are going higher than that and nowhere near 27. Also looked you up on iracing and you have never ran a race before lmfao.
