Such a cute style. Love the rubber band method. A tip if you can’t get your braids at the beginning to be as tight as hers or have trouble doing that method you can also use a crochet needle and crochet the hair behind the rubber band and then just start twisting down. I can’t ever get my braids tight at the root and this trick helped me.

Years ago I tried Senegalese twists and had to take them out after a week. The kankelon hair irritated my scalp so bad, it felt like my scalp was on fire. Thanks doll 💋 you’ve given me the confidence to do this for my upcoming Miami trip 💯 A few years back when I was visiting Harlem this lady gave me some gorgeous bombass passion twists, and one thing that she did, that Ive not seen anyone else do, is she removed a teeny bit of hair from each section instead of using the given size. So they were *slighly* smaller and the twist pattern was longer, not so tightly coiled. This made a big difference in the outcome of the style. Not “better”….just gave it a different flow. Hopefully I can do this without tangling & fuckin up the hair. Would be wise to do a trial run before the trip but it’s in 3 weeks, so I probably won’t 👀. Thanks again love 🙏

Girl like me needs a "how to part straight " video😩 Also When you're twisting your hair with the extension are you using the rope twist technique or just regular twist technique?
If you’re not good with parting, ladies, get you a mirror in the back of you, try to angle it to where you can see what you’re doing in the back. A rat tail comb will help as well. Good luck babes.
I have really thick hair. I find that a rat tail with the thin silver tail gives me more of a precise part than just a regular one. The two mirrors will help starting off but eventually you will be able to just feel and sense it.

Hi. I lost my job. I couldn't afford to get my daughter's hair professionally done. She wanted Passion Twist. I never heard of this. I said to myself, "Everything is on UA-cam. Let me see!" Your video popped up! It looked easy enough for me to attempt this! I'm not experienced. Let's just say... your video is very professional, easy to understand, and you're easy on the eyes! Lol
Thanks for this hun. I have a trip in 5 days and refuse to spend 300 to do my hair at a salon. This is definitely something I think I can do myself especially having natural hair 🎉🎉🎉
You got me ready to do my own hair. Super simple, time consuming but simple. I have some hair that I’ve just been sitting on. I’m gonna do it. Thank you. I like these long passion twist😍😍
I’m literally doing jumbo twist on both mine and my daughters hair using the rubber band method and here comes your upload, clearly great minds think alike.
I wonder if you have to either work the rubber band down a bit and then pinch the hair while sliding it down, OR wet the scalp and slide the rubber band down the hair. IDK
The rubber band method is perfectly fine, just soak them in some type of oil before use for about 30 minutes to an hour, like Jamaican black oil, jojoba etc. U can oil ur rubber bands at the same time that u are doing the vinegar soak, separately of course.
I wear passion twist in my hair all the time for at least 3- 4 weeks. Passion twist caused my hair to go from bald head to a bunch of hair. I would put peppermint oil in it every week to keep from getting dry. And babyyy I tell you my hair is longer need it use to be. Easy to manage by me working 12 hr. shift. And now all four of my grand daughters are starting to wear the passion twist. This is my go to hair in all styles. We love it. Lol

I'd really love to try this but I've seen a lot of other naturalistas not recommending this style as a longterm do because of poor longevity. How was it for you in terms of longevity?
Thanks! Your tutorial was very thorough. I am a professional stylist and i will be trying this method on a client. Im never afraid to learn from others or afraid of losing clients to DYI. We all need a back up plan in case our stylist isn’t available.
Omg Kim the last time you asked on your story for a hair request n I mentioned passion twist cuz I would love for you to pull this style off n girl you pulled it off so freaking well I love it love it love it 💕
I really loved your video. I truly appreciate how a lot of you ladies are taking the time and that I am able to hear YOU and not the music. You are very articulate and detailed in your hair demonstrations . My question is what would you (or anyone) recommend to use besides rubber bands? I know my hair cannot handle rubber bands and I know I need to be more gentle with it. Would you ever do a video on how to do knot braids/passion twists? I really truly love your video.
I can’t do box braids or anything like that myself, but this was so easy, and they came out so cute!! The only thing I did wrong was make the rubber bands too tight. But this will be my go to style.
With the cost of living at an all time high. Now learning to do hair and nails online. Loving the video's they are great. Getting good results as a beginner. Keep the video's coming.

😄Lil CHIC natural does it AGAIN! IDK HOW she makes EVERY New style SOOO easy to get! I honestly don't go anywhere else for a new hair tutorial BUT HERE! Ty AGAIN bihhh!!!😍💯💯💯💯💯🤣🤣😘
Wonder how much pack of hair she use.
💕 it. I definitely will attempt this style tomorrow. I love the vinegar bath tip: my scalp is extremely sensitive & itchy like crazy with braided hair. Thank Kim
OMG!!! It’s so PRETTY and the EDITING IS EVERYTHING....Straight to the POINT 😍😍😉😉
God Bless and Loves you all 😌 you’ll never regret living for him
I’m 20 had relaxed hair my whole childhood and struggled learning to care for my natural hair this is the first hair tutorial I understood and was ever confident to try.
Thank you
Girl like me needs a "how to part straight " video😩
Also
When you're twisting your hair with the extension are you using the rope twist technique or just regular twist technique?
Same on the part straight 💯
I use a rat tail comb & two mirrors.
Man I need a how to part period video, not joking
If you’re not good with parting, ladies, get you a mirror in the back of you, try to angle it to where you can see what you’re doing in the back. A rat tail comb will help as well. Good luck babes.
I have really thick hair. I find that a rat tail with the thin silver tail gives me more of a precise part than just a regular one. The two mirrors will help starting off but eventually you will be able to just feel and sense it.
Queen of parting!🙌🏽💕
Clicked so fast!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The new lockdown in the UK just happened so no hair dressers, no nails and no lashes are available.... 🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️we need help sis!! Thanks babe 😘😘😘
Anytime! Much love! 💖
Girl same, my city 🇬🇧 just went into Tier 4 restrictions. Salons are closed again 😫😫
Same here in Germany
Quality is so on point I can see every hair follicle from the root 😍😍 beautiful work I’m going to try this for sure!
So pretty, of course everything you do is so effortless--I just love your content!
The fact that her parts are so neat is amazing!
This turned out so beautiful 💜🛼💜🛼
You got me ready to do my own hair. Super simple, time consuming but simple. I have some hair that I’ve just been sitting on. I’m gonna do it. Thank you. I like these long passion twist😍😍
I’m literally doing jumbo twist on both mine and my daughters hair using the rubber band method and here comes your upload, clearly great minds think alike.
Gorgeous 😍 please make a video for the takedown ! The rubber bands scare me 😳
I wonder if you have to either work the rubber band down a bit and then pinch the hair while sliding it down, OR wet the scalp and slide the rubber band down the hair. IDK
I’ll probably try it without the rubber bands. I don’t mind if mine aren’t perfectly flat.
The rubber band method is perfectly fine, just soak them in some type of oil before use for about 30 minutes to an hour, like Jamaican black oil, jojoba etc. U can oil ur rubber bands at the same time that u are doing the vinegar soak, separately of course.
Same I'm not about that rubber band method
Just coat the rubber bands in olive oil before putting them in your hair. It makes a world if difference.
It took me like 2 days to finish this style on my hair. I'd said "never again", but maybe after watching this tutorial I'll give it another try.
does your real hair unravel?
Just did this. It took about 4 hours total and came out great! Thank you so much! I’m about to save so much money 🤣😂🤣
Ty girlie! I did my daughter her and it took me 5 hours for s-medium size. It was my first time. Ty again and I wish u much success
you are very welcome dear!
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous! I about to take my braids down and was trying to decide what style I wanted to do next. Now, I know!! Thx! ❤❤
Same!! my friend sent this to me so I can do it on her head. Looks like we are about to be twinzeeeees!! Lmaooo
Perfectionist at everything u do! 💖
Yep! She is!!
So darn true❤
She always comes up with the cutest easy hairstyle, looks so good on you😍😍
I wear passion twist in my hair all the time for at least 3- 4 weeks. We love it. Lol
Thank you for this tutorial video. This will be my next hair style for Christmas 2022. Only discovered this week :)
Lol I’m definitely doing the same style for Christmas
Mines too. Just came across this am was like I can’t wait to try it
I love it! You did a great job 😍

Sooo pretty on you! Im definately trying this for my vacation. So glad you performed this method, l cannot crochet so this method is perfect for me!! Thank you for taking the time 😊

These are really cute and the tutorial was very easy to follow, I can’t wait to try this. Thank you 😊
You taught me to braid my hair and let's just say I haven't been to salon or anyone not even my sister i have to beg again lol
I love passion twists but never tried any on my hair. Definitely gonna use this tutorial and see how it will turn out. It looks so beautiful 😍
This is beautiful. I am trying this for my daughters hair for the first day of school. She has been wanting passion twists. Thank you! 💛
I'm happy to have found this video. You know when we go to the beauty salon. We get grocery shopping prices. 250, 300. Just, for a style I see now is so easy to do myself. Thank you for this video.
I really love this tutorial. You make it sooo easy for a beginner such as myself. Thank you so much and stay beautiful 😍
I loved having passion twists the messier it gets the better it looks too
I thought I was trippin’.💕💕💕💕
Truthhhh
I'd really love to try this but I've seen a lot of other naturalistas not recommending this style as a longterm do because of poor longevity. How was it for you in terms of longevity?
Love how your hair turned out...just beautiful!! 🤩 Would try this style but too afraid of the rubber bands
Soak them in oil of your choice
Theee most simplest video to teach beginners. Very beautiful and thank you ❤️❤️
Thanks! Your tutorial was very thorough. I am a professional stylist and i will be trying this method on a client. Im never afraid to learn from others or afraid of losing clients to DYI. We all need a back up plan in case our stylist isn’t available.
Just received my cookbook 🙂 I can’t wait to start making some recipes .and it was sign by my girl
Omg Kim the last time you asked on your story for a hair request n I mentioned passion twist cuz I would love for you to pull this style off n girl you pulled it off so freaking well I love it love it love it 💕
You taught me how to do butterfly locs and turned out perfectly! Now I will watch you do these passion twist! Thank you ❤️☺️
I really loved your video.
I love it. This video is how I learned how to do my own hair and I haven’t spent money in a shop ever since. Thank you so much..👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I can’t do box braids or anything like that myself, but this was so easy, and they came out so cute!! The only thing I did wrong was make the rubber bands too tight. But this will be my go to style.
Not only is her hair pretty her makeup is flawless. True beauty!
2milion let's go. I'm definitely doing this
With the cost of living at an all time high. Now learning to do hair and nails online. Loving the video's they are great. Getting good results as a beginner. Keep the video's coming.
I am back having successfully created this style for myself! Thanks for the great video, and for saving me a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY😁 You explained everything perfectly, and the video angles were perfect for detail. My greatest challenge was parting my hair in the back for the 1st time but I made it through! Thanks for sharing your gift with us!
They are perfect. I wish i could make my own hair ♥️♥️
You can do this!!!! Just be brave, own it and move!!!!! We await your manifestation!
gurl, you are soo pretty, goshhh😭😭
These look amazing I love this hairstyle so much and I just want to say that you are so beautiful 🥰🥰❤️
This is what I'll be rocking all December. Thanks for sharing
I loved mine this summer. The older they got, the better they looked. Costly though, and the style isn’t one that lasts. Next time I am trying this method. Looks so neat.
I was literally just looking up passion twists tutorials!!! I always love your styles and now I gotta try it lol
