I personally drive a 6 speed sonic grey hatch and love it to pieces arguably the most fun car I’ve ever driven
I’m a huge fan of the hatch’s. If they came in the si trim I would of had one!
Awesome! I'm running the ACT sprung organic clutch + single mass lightweight flywheel + PRL stainless steel braided clutch line and it is amazing!! It puts the power down, has less rev hang, has less chatter than OEM (wasn't expecting that), and it is still super comfortable for daily driving.
E30 - E35 is about the limit of the OEM fuel system anyway, so that E30 gas you mentioned would probably work great! I don't know about the stock internals at that point though

Right on, and yes let's see some road course track days. Don't worry about coilovers, just get yourself some carbotech or gloc brake pads and load up a nice conservative tune map (heat may become an issue) and let 'er rip!

I have the ACT street clutch with flywheel and the kZcmc paired with my PRL turbo 2860g2 and it holds all the power. I dyno'd with DRob and hit 345/308 on E30 and 300/287 on 93. Great clutch and has never slipped on me. Street is more than enough and the clutch pedal is perfect.

Got a 2020 civic si, came for 2018 wrx. Obviously some say it’s a downgrade to go civic si but the civic is way more better daily driver and more refined compared to wrx I just hope it’ll last me forever
Both are awesome cars, the civic should last you a long time as long as you maintain it regularly

As of now I’m 0w-20 but I’ve definitely been thinking about going thicker. I have to do more research before jumping on it and thanks for the comment!!

I would recommend the competition clutch over the ACT clutch. Seems to have less issues and price is similar

I thought about buying it this morning, but looking at their power gains, it doesn't seem worth it. On paper, 42 whp gain seems like a lot but if you read the dyno chart it looks like it has less power until the top of the red line. Prove me wrong if you'd like

How was the reliability? I was looking into some simple bolt ons and a W1. I don't need to go W2. I don't need to push it to the limit. The exhaust also sounds nice, which was it? I am going to go with an HKS system personally.

@@ChrisLowpes I run blizzaks and even with traction control off and starting in second it's a pain to get moving in deep snow. It's not the worst in the snow but I would rather have a civic or WRX for those snowy months

Hi Chris your Si looks awesome and love the look of the car! I have 2020 Si snd I already feel that I have reached it’s limit 😅 and want to start modify it. I don’t want to loose the warranty though and actually have an extended warranty for 10 years/120K miles. If I have a Ktuner and TSP/phearable Stage 1 tune, PRL cobra intake/27WON intake, AFE touring exhaust and mishimoto inter cooler, would it void my warranty on the car ? Haha them I would cancel my extended warranty for mods 😆. It is my daily driver though. Hope you reply to this snd keep up your good work!! does the PRL cobra intake be a problem for hydro locking ?
I’m pretty sure it will 😂 also they only way you’ll hydrolock is if you completely submerge the intake in water.
Is CVT safe for turbo upgrades?
@christian mulyadi yes! No problem at all as long as you keep torque under 250 below 4,000rpm to protect the CVT

Yes I’m on D2 springs and my set up is 18x8+38 and my tires were 245/40/18. The set up did not rub at all

Yea I’d push for intercooler next but be aware that the clutch may start slipping! I can’t remember off the top of my head what my k.count was sorry

Hows the w1 now man? You got it professionally tuned? Im fbo now. Just debating on buying w1 or w2 since its my daily. I heard the w2 has more turbo lag. I guess peak torque kicks in at 4500 rpm.

Your Ktuner already them preloaded on it, just make sure it’s up to date

Chris i know is an old video bud i do have an Si and putting some MOD's as well what is the best clutch and coilovers does eliminating the sensors on the factory struts is it going to have a light indicator that the is missing the sensors
Hey, best two clutches would be ACT and the type r retro fit. You will indeed have a light on your dash indicating the sensors are off unless you get coilovers with sensor cancellers.

You’ll need a base map at least, the ktuner comes with the base map for the 27won turbo I’m not sure if the hondata does.
Good turbo but the hardware they supply is garbage v,clamp and nut and bolt are garbage it will come loose and break your oil line.
How much psi are you pushing on that base map? +- 21psi like with the oem one with ktuner ?

All depends how you maintain and drive the car
I read on 10th gen forums that the ACT Organic clutch doesn’t hold much more power over the stock clutch so I’m going to give the Competition Clutch a try

I’ve had the TSP stage 1 and now I have the base map for the W1 turbo
No doubt you should try the Phearable tune, it’s a lot more refined than tsp
