Always liked this channel. Some video game resellers can be the very definition of cringe, but Chase never yells, screams, or acts like an idiot for views. Respect.
This guy is living the dream of basically every boy growing up in the 90s.
I love that you keep the collection inside the working place, your crew worked hard on getting some of those games, and furnishing your shelves with those crazy finds is pretty wholesome, a collective quest!
My favorite episodes the last year are any involving Hobby Shop Ron, and the mini series with you helping the guys build from scratch.
Brother Dave and Sky Guy doing the $10 challenge was the highlight of your vids of 2023 for me. Al Pal and his amazing growth on ebay as well. Those guys really inspired me to take my biz to the next level. As an ebay 'everything' seller that stuff is my Jam. Just churning through giant collections of sealed video games and massive whatnot video game sales - not so much. Congratulations on your amazing 2023 and good luck in 2024!

I enjoyed the barn build progression. Odd question I’ve thought about: Working with friends can be amazing and tough at the same time. Wondering if you have any boundaries in place to protect friendships and stay professional. It’s awesome to see you hire your friends and I hope it’s something you can continue to do! Cool question - This is Thayne, and I’ll answer the question purely from the perspective as a “fringe” member of the team and longtime friend of Chase. One of the most underrated and under realized aspects of Chase’s character is his true and consistent focus on serving with humility and integrity. He approaches the business from a place of true partnership and teamwork with his guys. He leads in a way that is collaborative while still maintaining clear focus and direction for the business. He shapes the business and each of the crews roles to compliment their God given gifts and passions. For example, Matt is a engineer by training and highly capable with processes like 3D Printing; so Chase has evolved the business by leveraging Matt’s skills to create mounts and holders for various items around the barn and to sell online! The dudes all have a clear grasp of their areas of responsibility and influence and work together to see the whole business win. Chase maintains an ability to always evaluate and always get better. Get better as a business, get better as a boss, and get better as a operation!
Good leadership + Good communication = successful team!
Working for Chase is rarely “tough” just because he really values what each of those dudes bring to the table and how they contribute to the business growth.

I remember finding your channel. Insane finds for stupid cheap. Like the one that had the whole tote of games that grandpa bought for you at a sale. Another one where you bought the gamecube from the house across the street and the actual house on the posting was selling one too. The one where you announced the twins coming soon with the little onsies. Its been an insane journey! I love the behind the scenes stuff.
Been a goal of mine to get to doing 1/10th of what you guys do just by myself. Hoping one day I will meet the crew at 127 sale.
My favorite video is not a single one but all of them sometimes I go back and rewatch stuff. Lots of times.
I love CATRP, the crew, the vids and always look forward to new content. My only criticism with the videos is that as the years go on they’re feeling more and more like infomercials as opposed to fun entertaining gamer vids. You guys are AD CRAZY and as a viewer feel like I’m constantly being sold something, which cheapens the content for me. I think most of us would love it if you could dial it down on the sponsorship and mentioning of affiliate links, etc. I understand this is an important part of your business model, but daddy chill. All the best!!

I’m newer catrp sub but man 2023 was awesome. I really got into the pokemon pursuit vids. I bought some great games off the whatnot including a Pokemon crystal. Looking forward to the big moments in 2024. I think the next goals for Whatnot should be $250k in a weekend then $500k in a week.

I would love to see the whole crew do some more garage sale contest again, go back to the OG! Also I think you should do a challenge of some sort with retro Rick and phoenix resale, you all can just to a collection and/or sales in your home towns only over the course of a few weeks and then all see who can sell the most at the same convention!!!! Great long term content! I love the pursuit challenges!
Great work guys, love love your videos! The 100K whatnot was crazy. Think that is the the max to sell on 1 day. Idea for this year, a week long auctions.. so each day 1 auction for a X amount of hours

When I packed it up those (new/clean) trash bags had air in them. Homemade bubble wrap. Looks like they deflated 😮. The second package I sent has a ton of bubble wrap in it though 😁.

Hey Chase, I was wondering how you handle adding games that are bought through the business to your collection. Do you pay the company out of your pocket or is your collection loosely owned by the company and adding to it is just like putting it in a display-style storage?

I know this is going to sound odd - but I enjoy watching the whole CATRP crew go totally nerd with everything you do to keep your business thriving. I had no idea that this type of games garnered so much value and following. I rarely played video games as a youth (way before my time - kind of) but I did have an original pong game that I sold at a garage years ago (wish I would have saved it). Stay safe.

I don’t have a consistent link. I found good replacements once on Amazon but they were 12-15 each, and you had to buy 8 I think? If I see them on sale for $10 each I get them. hard to get good ones
