Have a Turbo version of this car and agree with this review, such a great car. Annoying you had the winters on, as you said: they lose a lot of traction compared to the 21" wheels/tyres. Mine is a daily hauler and family car and doubles as my 'fun' car. It really does that so well. the only gap it has, imo, is that I don't think I would track it and certainly not on a regular basis, because lots more cars are better on track. But for daily driving, the odd fun drive on good roads and about town it's brilliant. Hauls a lot of stuff in it too, once you take out the unbelievably terrible parcel shelf, with 2 adults and 2 kids in a lot of comfort. It gives you so much confidence and it drives like a lot smaller car pretty much all the time. On the plus side again I saw max 3 mi/kWh on the winter tyres and in UK winter and I am seeing easily more than 2.5 mi/kWh on the summer tyres going into UK spring (and I expect that to increase). This gives a half decent range, considering the performance you are getting. On the point of using launch control: I hardly ever use it because the car (even the Turbo), is so fast almost nothing on the road touches it, albeit it is a lot of fun...and a bit painful
It's fair to say you did mention "loading area" and not a "proper estate trunk" cause that loading area is so small for an estate. The wheel arches do take alot of space.

I'm a long way from getting an EV, and I'd never be able to afford this, but if both these conundrums meet, this would be the EV I'd buy without a doubt. Forget the Plad, Dog crap interior and build quality and this has quite enough power thank you.

I totally agree that the rear end of the Sport Turismo looks so much sexier than the Taycan. Passenger side display panel is just one more unnecessary electronic component that can go wrong.

Like to see those Head lamps in more for a more classical porsche look and maybe air inlets in place of. Fog lamps under or inplace to accent this new modern - eccentric- design?

@@lukabosnjak3829 I’m Sorry that’s just not true. Every EV has a considerable degradation in power with lower state of charge. An ICE does not. Furthermore Teslas Plaid only makes the super fast acceleration after you warm up the battery for some time, and only in Drag strip Launch control mode etc. In Sport mode (or other modes) in which you will almost always be, it’s “only” as fast as an M5 competition for example (0-62 mph).
If it's just free market, I can easily accept this car, it's beautiful and powerful, in fact I did own a Tesla for 2 years. But unfortunately, big communist government EU wants to force us to switch to EVs, sorry, in this case, I will never buy or accept any EVs.

I don't think we can get the Sports Turismo here in the States other than in the GTS sadly, everything else "wagon" wise in the Taycan is under the Cross Turismo with the "offroad" skirting.

Problem is here in the UK guess how much to fully charge one of these at a Charging point ? £68 which is a lot of money and also it takes around an hour so you have to park up for an hour waiting while Mr Petrol car man fills up in like 1 min lol Electric cars are not the future , in fact they are getting rid of a lot of charging points here now as we dont have the power in the national grid for all this Electricity.

OK...this might be my color...I've never bought a car that was not black before...and I was struggling with how the Taycan Sport Turismo looked in black (it looked like a hearse)...I was going to go with a green or blue, but this color looks great.

I don't know why we don't have EVs with Generators to increase Range. So you get the full EV funding but you essentially have a hybrid
