How’s this for a drag race line-up!
We’ve got our hands on Porsche’s first hypercar, the 918 Spyder, and it’s going up against… A Honda Integra Type R?!
But of course, this is no normal Integra - it’s the AWD Integra Type R lent to us by Officially Gassed!
So let’s see how these two mega machines compare. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4.6-litre naturally-aspirated V8, coupled with two electric motors, which combine to deliver 887hp and 1,280Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,674kg.
And then we have the Integra. It’s a 2002 Type R that’s had around £100,000 spent on it. As a result, it’s been converted to have AWD, had a sequential gearbox fitted, and a massive turbo has been added to the 2-litre 4-cylinder engine, just to name a few of the mods! As a result, this incredible import can now produce around 922hp!!
So it’s the £1.4 million hypercar vs. a £100,000 Integra. Will the reliability of the Porsche propel it to victory? Or will the Integra snatch the win? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

@@Ignacio.Romero 11:11 - gearbox jumped out of gear. Literally the same thing as missing a shift lol. I know some sequential boxes require a lot of force to get into the next gear, otherwise a light pull on the shifter just pops in out of gear.

We've seen a lot of tuned cars claiming big hp figures on this channel. Most get humbled by stock supercars and breakdown after a few runs. Big-ups to the Honda and the owner. It showed up in all its glory. Epic build!

That had to be your best race yet! Jamie's head on every gear change nearly smashed the headrest haha. Fair play for letting him try the rolling start so as not to kill his car too early.
As an owner of 800+ whp AWD DC5 myself, so happy to see this lol. Also, to reach that power level itself it’s only around 15-25K BUT the other aspects like safety, roll cage etc etc really adds up the cost!
I think the extra extra costs have been from things breaking and blowing up. Then having to pay for the parts Again and again and again. I would do it myself if I had the money. Love them hondas
Buy once, cry once. Reliable 8 second honda's can be built and be reliable but it costs more up front. I know guys pushing over 1000hp and have been running tube same setups without motor breakage for over 3 years. Sure axles, diffs and stuff can have issues, even blown turbos but that all is cheap if your not rebuilding motors. It's all about good tuning really. @sonic203 #marshtuning
