I've been playing Welledad for about 6 months with my friend group, can't wait to bust out my list at YCS Philly! It's for sure in the top 3 best decks of the format, shocked it's seen relatively little results
Metagames evolve so unbelievably slowly because majority of people are results oriented out of their mind and not actually good at evaluating what cards are objectively strong, or what cards fit better into certain strategies. I.e. it took me 2 years of saying fairy best deck for people to realize the deck is insanely strong. 90% of people don't believe in anything til it's beating their ass. There are very very few people who actually push for newer/better lists to be played or try new things at top level competitive play. It's part of the reason why I look up to Karpaths deckbuilding so much. He consistently innovates and finds things people aren't doing and brings it to some sort of competitive height.
Crazy how this is an unchanged format but we’ve already seen Doom Cal be a moot side with how frequent the frog (variant) match ups are. Also interesting to see how fairies have fallen off
He in these comments fighting for that dustshoots life ong 😂 the game completely warped around him dustshooting twice. Keegans a good player and that hand knowledge will take him far. Still though, the deck IS top tier its not like he got carried here
i played this deck the other day going second vs a frogs and opened stratos + dark grepher + tomato + allure + power well draw etele for turn allure banish tomato draw krebonz and dad actually the most juiced hand of all time normal stratos add mali pitch mali summon grepher grepher effect pitch krebonz send plagues special dad opponent forfeits
List looks strong and has much potential, sure. But you just shared videos of having some of the best hands any deck could ask for. Game one your hand was quite possibly the best hand a Yugioh deck could have and there was still a chance for the other player to out it. Idk about a top 3 deck
@@ma.2099 the deck is 19 limited cards. Ur gonna draw on average 3 in ur opener alone every game. The deck almost ALWAYS opens broken cards or a way to chill til u get them. When you try it, you'll see.
I feel like you were onto something with Gold Sarc’s and was pretty high on the card. Why did you decide this time to not run them? Did the meta speed up too much?
@@E3YuGiOh Hmm, my mistake. I think I was thinking of this old video from 2021 (DAD-esque, but no Power Wells): ua-cam.com/video/3n0ZQJ4t0Nw/v-deo.html
You definitely can brick - book of life, call, mind control, dad, torrential - that was my hand one game. At the same time, 1 card drawn can break this hand. Unfortunately for me, that didn't happen LMAO.
@Troy Alexander you also named a hand that can just as easily be drawn in diva zombies too. My argument is this deck bricks less cuz all it takes is one Armageddon
@E3 Yu-Gi-Oh yeah, I mean, both decks can, right? Definitely think diva zombies is worse in that aspect. I was more so stating it was unfortunate I couldn't draw a starter in 3-4 turns
I don’t agree. U LITERALLY opened dustshoot twice. Without that card games change. It’s not well dad that got you the game tbh. Card warps games by itself is
@@E3YuGiOh u LITERALLY had dustshoot both game. I’d be more impressed eith the video WITHOUT y having that card and having knowledge of opponents hand and still cooking
I mean you open nuts against a bad player…. The deck has nothing to do with this. He miss-played multiple times both games :( In my experience zombie feels stronger, even if I really like wells dad. Please try to upload a video demonstrating the deck against someone who can play :/ Your list though looks strong. I really like your innovations with the ladies on the side!
1. This literally is a zombie synchro deck 2. This deck opens the nuts so much it's hard to have a hand that doesn't. 19 limited cards and the rest is engine with all the best spells in the game. Idk what you want me to do. Play less good cards so it takes me longer to win?
@@E3YuGiOh the video does not show why to play wells instead of diva. All these limited cards are played in all zombie decks. You state that wells is superior to diva (all the other things about the limited strong cards is irrelevant cause they are played in all zombie decks) I just see a match against a player who is learning and you open sangam + dust shoot. You don’t even used at any point wells. What I am trying to say I would be interested to see a more equal match where wells tech makes the difference in comparison to diva. Cause in my experience opening 2 Krebons can be as bad as 2 divas (without allure) and wells can brick if you don’t have targets. On top of that wells is weak to one of the most common side deck cards - ddcrow making the deck even more weak to that. I respect your videos and your job and I think you are important for the community. I am just commenting on the commentary in order to look deeper in the analysis why should we play wells instead of diva.
@Ioannis Mykoniatis the well combo is stronger into crow than the diva combo. Drawing 2 krebons is infinitely better than drawing 2 diva. It's pretty apparent from your (and other'×) comments that I'll need to make a video on this explaining this deck and its plays a bit more in detail. That'll come sometime this week. Cheers!
Damn. I guess I gotta win an event with WelleDAD to shut all these doubters up.
Truuuuuue
Amen!
Welle dad is so based, great video king
❤️❤️ cheers
I love welldad, this deck has a massive otk power

probably not worth, but possibly.

no
This decks synergy is just stupid. The only decision you really need to make is when you feel like going for the kill.
Facts. It's just a matter of time
