It’s still extremely high risk. They won’t get listed on some CEX without they knowing more technical details and code audits for some. I work on a major ICP project which is on the NNS so I know a lot about the requirements. This project desperate needs technical details. I will not be investing until i see more technical details

Very interesting project. Not sure people would get into a real state DAO when they don't know much about real state business. Also, investing in a property for 5% yield in FIAT money, historically, is not better than just holding BTC or even ICP.

5% is just the example. 8% return in this industry, real estate, is considered a good return. Keep in mind, this is diversifying and is NOT investing in crypto so the returns and risks will be different.

Yes agree, I don't know enough about the real estate business so I am not going to invest in something I don't understand well enough, even if it happens to take off like a rocket I will be happy to watch.
The legal side of it being 80% done scares me slightly even though they will likely over come it in time but it may be harder than expected.
It's different than all other DAO's I've seen even gold DAO because of the real world profits, I don't understand how that works with everything like tax and how likely a centralized exchanges would list something like this. I also think about maintenance and who is employed to over see the property and insurance and annual tax for waste collection, power it hurts my little pea 🧠 adds too much complexity as someone wise once said

Yeah the legal aspect is a tough one. You’d need to interface with real estate legal teams in any country you want to operate in. I assume there are API’s for a lot of major governments to submit estate deeds so it’s for sure possible but again, they need to mention this in the white paper.
I believe alot of launches ask for a bit to much ICP, but maybe 75k on this is ok. Problem is, it seems like pretty few joins these launches..

I took another look and I actually found the Estate DAO on ICP. It is NOT on the Ecosystem page but on the Launchpad instead.
When you log into your Neuron, on the left below Voting, you will see the Launchpad. Estate DAO is listed there. Makes sense since it is not yet launched until the minimum direct commitment is reached (a minimum of 75,000 ICP). As of this typing, it has a direct commitment of 15,188.52 ICP.
I hope this is adopted fully. This may be the only way I can personally and actually own realestate in this lifetime.

@@farhadissa1817you have to wait until the launch deadline. If Estate DAO didn't get the minimum required to launch you'll get a refund of your ICP. BUT, if they did meet the minimum your 62 ICP will be swapped to Estate DAO tokens. Then you'd have to swap them back to ICP at like ICSwap or alternative
You didn't tell us how to buy EST tokens.
Glad you and george got to be buddies over a call. My research still says lackluster returns with enhanced risk, so I'll just stick to ICP staking.

this is a joke, it not the first time you said not to buy something and it is an absolute rip off, then proceed to buy it. I like your videos but it's harder to trust you every time you do something like this. you should mention when you are paid (like this video)
When he received more data he changed his mind, I don't see that as so bad. Being stubborn and set in your views is not so smart for investing or life. I used to hate ICP but then when I received more data and looked into it more I noticed that most of my assumptions were wrong.
I don't think Jerry would have got paid except from the guy having to book the call with him for his time. If you watch his other videos you will see how morally now he can't do it and look at himself in the mirror and if he ever did he would say

Have you seen his other more recent videos how he said he couldn't stand the way he was and he quit crypto for a while because of how disgusted he was with the space and himself and that no amount of money is worth not being truthful to yourself and his other videos where he talks about his beliefs? So unless all of that is a lie I'm willing to bet he has not been paid by estate dao except for the zoom chat, unless he discloses he has which he hasn't and I'm not a part of his ICP chat group. Also this would be illegal and I don't think Jerry is that stupid to risk so much especially since he lives in the US and all he does is public.
Estate DAO is not for me and I think it's not good to release a project with 80% of the legals sorted, I think it should not get funded until it's 100% legally sorted, even then it's probably not a project I would personally invest in

Estate DAO’s white paper is heavily lacking more technical details. It’d very business related which is great but i couldn’t find anything related to the tech. It’s not really a white paper IMO. More like a beige paper

So George has only 80% figured out the most important aspect of the project but is still launching it. So in reality he will own the properties and once the project flops he will keep them and you will have some worthless tokens. Why are you shilling an obvious scam?

You change your mind depending on whether the sponsors are paying you for your time or not. Why should I believe that this project has more future than boom dao??? Just because they paid you the $300 for your call??? As a project, boom dao is much more credible than estate dao, I think you are making a mistake.
