- I have been meditating on the ICP tokenomics lately, and the more thoughts and consideration I give it, the more I realize that Internet Computer staking income will be out of control amazing sometimes in the not too distant future. In this episode, I explain the three mechanism I believe will drive these spectacular returns I anticipate. I hope you thoroughly enjoy this presentation.

i'm in the 4-year ICP gang. staking anything for 8 years is crazy. I respect it, but damn...
I am staking for 1 year, 4 years and 8 years. Sell some this bull market, sell some in the next and sell some the following if I decide to dissolve it in the next few months (keeping some long-term to dividend yield on and live off of, as he's referencing here). No worries on the 4 years, you can always change your staking period anytime.
It makes sense when you stake alot. I have 2100 icp staked 8+ years and haven't started dissolving yet. I earn almost 2 ICP a day when the price reaches €100 I will sell my maturity (earned rewards). So monthly I will earn €6000 in rewards (passive income). If all goes according to plan I will never need to sell my staked ICP. If not I can always sell my whole ICPZ wallet or neuron on IDGeek. Even when the tokens are staked. Trust me, the more you research it the more you realize 8+ year staking is the best option.
I stake everything for 8 years and draw out interest to sell at the top to pay for my principal... I compound a third of it to grow my principal as well so it creates bigger rewards over time... I want max rewards so i stake for 8 years... thats the only thing that makes sense

It is very clear Dominic William's motivation is building and to advance blockchain in the most alturistic way he possibly can, you will do well to follow his model. I would buy a used SUV hybrid, pay cash, no car payment.

If enterprises stake icp for rewards and use the neuron maturity via stake for cycles which is then burn it isnt adding much to inflation or deflation. I see that happening as ICP projects are tending to stake ICP for their own treasury staking for rewards

Too many coins being unlocked people staking for no reason tokenomics suck price keeps pumping to get dumped back because of tokens being released into ICP and also no max supply, tokens being created out of nowhere. ICP is a project for suckers who missed out on SOL at $9 thinking the same will happen with ICP.

Great content. I have a question which could be addressed in a video. How can access be denied from a device on which nns access has been enabled through its hardware? I want to sell my phone and I need to make sure there'll be no backdoor to my nns through it anymore.

i'm 8 year gang~. however i havn't staked fully everything. I'm new at this and although i believe in icp as i research, i'm still very inexperienced and naturally afraid to stake everything i have and then not dissolve anything. Any advice, support?

people say you'd better follow 2 or 3 to make sure that your neuron votes. also don't forget to choose neurons to follow for each category.

Hi, I try to understand staking ICP
e.g. I lock 100 ICP for 1 year I receive voting power for 1 year and reward for one year:
unlocking your neuron means my ICP will be free to withdraw in an other year, so in reality my ICP are locked for 2 years in this case?
my ICPs will also not have any voting power for the unlock period and no reward for one year? right

I just got into crypto 3 months ago with a small capital. at first I bought lots of crypto coins along with icp, but the more I look at Icp the more I realize there isn't any crypto currency on its level, actually there is no crypto currency on icps league I should say. I dropped all my coins only for icp. I know the risk of having only one crypto coin, I know I should not put all my eggs in one basket.if icp really is the better than what I was holding, then why hold anything but icp. really the only crypto I could see In the top 3 is icp and only icp. share your thoughts on this one.

I want to continue funding my family projects, both virtual and real. Travel around while building a paradise locally. Having increasingly crazy plans with regenerative NPO projects, collaborating with land, etc. Money will help focus my energy even better. If ICP shoots up, the monthly stake would indeed get pretty interesting :D Btw I'm also 8y ganger and pretty deep in. Discovered ICP 2 days before Genesis.

Not planning on selling. I'm part of the 8 yr gang. I have one neuron with 5000 ICP. Another neuron with 1600 ICP. My goal is to add all my rewards back to the 1600 ICP neuron to build it up because I have 2 kiddos (7 & 8 yrs) and they need own neuron.

The whole concept of socialism and communism relies on the idea that the government takes your money whether you like it or not. Then they decide how it is spent. You have little or no say in where your money goes and you can't opt out of the system. This is the opposite of freedom.
