I got some original poverty caps on my 1967 Chevelle. I wouldn’t trade em for the world. I save it from a 35+ year timeout in Bernardston auto wrecking. Check it out @neshpro6521. Steve Magnante’s video originally brought it to my attention. He called it the Second lent Malibu. Should I keep the name?
Slik is happy with his little Luv,those Isuzu and Nissan's/Datsun have a pretty good reputation for being reliable here in Australia, thanks for the video, all the best to yous and your loved ones
There is nothing as great as sharing your adventures with a good friend. Puddin, you and Slick 50 work well together and make the rest of us laugh and smile !
Hi puddin it's nice to finally be able to comment. I have been a fan for a long time, and you make my day more productive because I am always learning and implementing your skills. While welding today a co worker saw my skills and asked where I learned to weld. I said puddin showed me how and it just made may day. keep up with your channel, I'm cheering you on puddin.
Puddin' , the most common stumble on acceleration ,(for vehicles that has them) is the EGR valve. If puttin' a bb in the vacuum hose at the EGR valve makes the stumble go away, that's the pott county fix. Great video, I'm very glad I subscribed.
1979 Chevy LUV 💙stumble FIX, Now you're back in the saddle with a 4 speed stick ! Puddin's Fab Shop 2 is today's quick pick, 15 minutes leaves us Love sick for some more Luv Slick. Luv Bars !! "Luv-Slick" , Now that's what I call a name for a Car. Has sticker potencial too ! Thanx 4 this video.... Have a great weekend. 😎 ✝🎅🎄🤶
I luv that we got a second on the second channel. And some poke county wisdom on progress. AND I never knew about those little things in the carburetor. Learning a lot. thank you. you all are cool.
When Slick commented about that switch "growing hair" he was probably closer to the truth than he realized. Electric components CAN "grow hair." Those hairs are called "tin whiskers." More likely in electronics where non-leaded solder is used, but they can occur anywhere electricity is involved. Cleaning with a contact cleaner will usually fix it, at least for a while.
When I see the Luv Tap sticker and how much of the backwindow it takes up, all I can think of is Ricky Bobby and his fig Newton sticker on the windshield 🤣🤣
I had a car that used to burn up the contacts on the heater part of a multi-switch and I ended up just putting in a relay so the current in the switch was minimal. I recconed it was cheaper replacing the relay (which I actually never had to) than the stupidly expensive multi-switch which I was able to clean up enough to work the relay.
I love your channels, the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you don’t have a new video every day. That may be too much to ask though so I will just enjoy them when you release them. Keep up the great work.
on the 1958 oil pressure, remove side cover over the lifters and remove the metal line that feeds the oil pressure up to rocker shaft and make sure its clear.
Excellent video Puddin :) , Slick :) yes seen baby mouse in lots crazy had one in manifold on heat raiser on GM full size pick up from 1985 on 350 V8 motor when check timing jump out air filter snorkel was alive too in shop at work at so wild for never saw it again ! Also those Chevrolet LUV truck last long time my one uncle had 1976 bought new in Red color and 1985 retired it bought 1985 Toyota small pickup in 2004 bought USA model Toyota T100 small pickup 1994 at local dealer!
Time for your puddin. She's coming along nicely guys. Progress is progress. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
hey yall from Ark.... just passin knowledge on the LUV..... our LUV it ran thru at least 4 Isuzu Imark engines from the salvage yard.... poor thing has at least 250-300000 on the chassis lmao i made headers after busting cast flange bouncin thru the creek one night lmao Weber progressive 2bbl and a slip on GSXR 1000 silencer just past cab i threw a electronic ignition from Pertronix on it i maxed out torsion bars lift and it would barely run a short 16" tire alowing the 4 speeds lack of gearing to pull 65 and engine not implode.... truck has been in family passed around and around since the early 80's .... its still sittin out back we can go out with a battery and drive it up town before dinner lol
Jus' some Good Ol' Boys. Never meanin' No Harm? Been in trouble with the Law since the day they was born.... Its about that time when Slick hoped the Luv would sprout some wings? Stay Tuned to see who shows up at The Boars Nest...
A stumble on sudden acceleration is likely the accelerator pump/circuit. a stumble when feathering the gas (tip in) is usually EGR valve related(opening too fast/bleeding off hole rusted) assuming it has one, simply try blocking the vacuum line to it.
I love the builds, I've been subscribed for awhile, I just really enjoy the fun you have building great projects. We need more young folks to backfill all of us old car guys. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
My 75 Luv heater Fan didn't shut off!!! I ended up putting brushes in the fan motor because they were completely wore out!!! The only other problem I had with it was I had to replace a couple alternators! Other than that it was a little ripper!!!
Hey Pudd': Another decent job on Slick 50's '79 Isuzu / Chevy Luv Tap rig... Especially good was the matching blue coil pack that you had installed... You're gonna have to make sure the heater controls are working as its gonna get cold and snowy there in Pott County there soon and Slick will need to defrost the windows and get some heat up there in the rig... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray.... Cleveland, Ohio.... C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blue Streak ftw! What are the damn odds on the matching two-tone blue... unbelievable. Nice to see Slick grinnin ear to ear going down the road.
Look at Slick smiling driving the Luv Tap, a man and his truck priceless.
He just needs some chrome sunglasses!
I could watch both channels everyday thanks for cheering me up. While stuck at home sick
Dang that old love tap cleaned up nice. Don't even look like the same old beater it was when you got it. It's good to have a friend like puddin
That big grin on slicks face says it all for me. Thanks for another great video Puddin Tang!
I really like the vlogs with Slick. You both make things a fun adventure.
I am really warming up to Slick’s hubcaps.
I like them I like them a lot... they had me wanting some just like them...
@@kennethwhite7829 I saw some like them when I was searching for trim rings for my steelies, now, I may ask Santa for a set.

Looks like that Luv Truck has many miles left in her. Good to see the improvements and progress done on it.

OMG , Puddin on a Saturday morning here in OZ 👍🇭🇲 Get in your LUV and get out of town, Great way to start a weekend, cheers Puddin and slick
The camera caught the mouse doing that Superman dive off the truck! It was hilarious!
"Cocaine's a hell of a drug"
Now we need the puddin/slick 50 happy hour channel.
That mouse got a 8 out of 10 for the dive off of the tailgate.Keep up the great videos guys.
Glad to see the Tap in Tip Top Tune!
The LUV Tap runs top notch thanks to the limited edition Puddin Fab Shop blue coil deluxe!

these were cool trucks in those days
There's a lot to learn from these small trucks when it comes to durability. Thanks for another entertaining and informative video!
Mighty Mouse “Jumper”. All I can say is, “That Puddin is Slick”. Very entertaining channel. Best wishes.
You should bring slick on full time, I like the banter!
I luv that we got a second on the second channel. And some poke county wisdom on progress. AND I never knew about those little things in the carburetor. Learning a lot. thank you. you all are cool.
Love seeing the ol Luv Tap! That exact truck was the first vehicle I ever had
In ‘74 gm had a system called “Astro ventilation” where the blower motor was always running on low so that’s just a feature of slicks luv
Felt bad giving another like because when I watched it was at 77 likes
Careful, You'll be rootin for my Titans with that Two Tone Blue. Find a dirt road guys, time for a drag race !!! Ty for taking us along
You and slick are really going to take things to the next level in 2023! Cannot wait to see what else you guys come up with. Sh*t the Bed!
Really diggin the second channel action not going to lie I miss mail time haha

I’m gonna have buy me a hat and shirt tonight 3 puddin videos in 1 week 🎉
When I see the Luv Tap sticker and how much of the backwindow it takes up, all I can think of is Ricky Bobby and his fig Newton sticker on the windshield 🤣🤣
Will there be LUV TAP stickers?!?! My husband and I enjoy all your videos! Thanks for the entertainment!
You should do an episode on your tattoos I know there is always a good story for almost every one !!
Three videos this week, so far? I'm saving it for tonight.
Slick is really turning into a good rent a dragon and I'm liking these short little looks into your day 👍

I recconed it was cheaper replacing the relay (which I actually never had to) than the stupidly expensive multi-switch which I was able to clean up enough to work the relay.
I do enjoy these episodes of "The Puddin and Slick Show".
In high school, I put a 350 small block in a luv similar to this one. Nearly lost my driver's license because of that wonderful decision.
Glad you’re getting the bugs out the Luv
Thanks for sharing 👍
Best thing I ever did with my 32/36 was run the dual outlet accelerator jet . Pegasus racing racing sells them.
I love your channels, the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you don’t have a new video every day. That may be too much to ask though so I will just enjoy them when you release them. Keep up the great work.
Sweet, Friday upload!
Tonight will be the night that I fall for you that was so freaking funny😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Back in the 70's my friend Pete was called " Slick " ...

Congrats Slick on getting your truck running smoothly. Mini Truckin Forever
Glad you got around to Slick’s Truck. The Luv Tap needed a little love.
The Luv Tap is coming together nicely.
Can relate to the wheel joke 😅🤣 been working on my project for the last 3 years it's had about 4 different sets of wheels on it 🤣😅
She'd look good with a matching bed topper!
Slick had the shifting form down, with that right arm in the bow bend
Danger mouse jumping out at slick I was waiting for penfold to follow 🙂
What bromance yall got going. Keep up the grate entertainment fellers 🤓
Can't wait to see the next project!
Not me I don't want the ones they got goin' now to end. I am learning stuff that a regular will it run won't cover.
@@doriswlongAgoandfarAway fair enough, add a turbo then lol
Puddin and slick 50 are way more gooders then the rest on UA-cam! Let's go!!
That Chevy luv sure does look a lot better a little love and care goes a long ways
I miss kicking it with friends tinkering on cars.

Really liking this little truck. Glad you’ve got it running so great.
12:30 close enough to noon 🤣 but Hot Damn It's Time For Another One 🤘🤘
Great to see your looking after the old girl chev luv.hi from Australia 🇦🇺
enjoyed! coil color was funny! bigger jets made it go faster, fighter pilots agree! sounds gooder.
No matter what the coil is cool!
I'll never get tired of seeing that mouse pancake itself against the LUV door.
Here we go. Let’s do this ✌️😎👍

i made headers after busting cast flange bouncin thru the creek one night lmao
Weber progressive 2bbl and a slip on GSXR 1000 silencer just past cab
i threw a electronic ignition from Pertronix on it
i maxed out torsion bars lift and it would barely run a short 16" tire alowing the 4 speeds lack of gearing to pull 65 and engine not implode....
