I got some original poverty caps on my 1967 Chevelle. I wouldn’t trade em for the world. I save it from a 35+ year timeout in Bernardston auto wrecking. Check it out @neshpro6521. Steve Magnante’s video originally brought it to my attention. He called it the Second lent Malibu. Should I keep the name?
There is nothing as great as sharing your adventures with a good friend. Puddin, you and Slick 50 work well together and make the rest of us laugh and smile !
Slik is happy with his little Luv,those Isuzu and Nissan's/Datsun have a pretty good reputation for being reliable here in Australia, thanks for the video, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Puddin' , the most common stumble on acceleration ,(for vehicles that has them) is the EGR valve. If puttin' a bb in the vacuum hose at the EGR valve makes the stumble go away, that's the pott county fix. Great video, I'm very glad I subscribed.
When Slick commented about that switch "growing hair" he was probably closer to the truth than he realized. Electric components CAN "grow hair." Those hairs are called "tin whiskers." More likely in electronics where non-leaded solder is used, but they can occur anywhere electricity is involved. Cleaning with a contact cleaner will usually fix it, at least for a while.
Hi puddin it's nice to finally be able to comment. I have been a fan for a long time, and you make my day more productive because I am always learning and implementing your skills. While welding today a co worker saw my skills and asked where I learned to weld. I said puddin showed me how and it just made may day. keep up with your channel, I'm cheering you on puddin.
I had a car that used to burn up the contacts on the heater part of a multi-switch and I ended up just putting in a relay so the current in the switch was minimal. I recconed it was cheaper replacing the relay (which I actually never had to) than the stupidly expensive multi-switch which I was able to clean up enough to work the relay.
on the 1958 oil pressure, remove side cover over the lifters and remove the metal line that feeds the oil pressure up to rocker shaft and make sure its clear.
I luv that we got a second on the second channel. And some poke county wisdom on progress. AND I never knew about those little things in the carburetor. Learning a lot. thank you. you all are cool.
1979 Chevy LUV 💙stumble FIX, Now you're back in the saddle with a 4 speed stick ! Puddin's Fab Shop 2 is today's quick pick, 15 minutes leaves us Love sick for some more Luv Slick. Luv Bars !! "Luv-Slick" , Now that's what I call a name for a Car. Has sticker potencial too ! Thanx 4 this video.... Have a great weekend. 😎 ✝🎅🎄🤶
I love your channels, the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you don’t have a new video every day. That may be too much to ask though so I will just enjoy them when you release them. Keep up the great work.
When I see the Luv Tap sticker and how much of the backwindow it takes up, all I can think of is Ricky Bobby and his fig Newton sticker on the windshield 🤣🤣
A stumble on sudden acceleration is likely the accelerator pump/circuit. a stumble when feathering the gas (tip in) is usually EGR valve related(opening too fast/bleeding off hole rusted) assuming it has one, simply try blocking the vacuum line to it.
Time for your puddin. She's coming along nicely guys. Progress is progress. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Puddin... from an article I had read back in the day, the fan does not turn off, as the manufacturer wanted 'positive cabin pressure' so pollutants could not seep into the cab interior from the exhaust system.
I have an older vehicle that the fan switch only controls the speed setting of the fan. The hvac selector switch has an off position where the fan will be off, but if you move it to vent, defrost or heat the fan will come on at whatever speed the fan switch is at.
My 75 Luv heater Fan didn't shut off!!! I ended up putting brushes in the fan motor because they were completely wore out!!! The only other problem I had with it was I had to replace a couple alternators! Other than that it was a little ripper!!!
Hey Pudd': Another decent job on Slick 50's '79 Isuzu / Chevy Luv Tap rig... Especially good was the matching blue coil pack that you had installed... You're gonna have to make sure the heater controls are working as its gonna get cold and snowy there in Pott County there soon and Slick will need to defrost the windows and get some heat up there in the rig... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray.... Cleveland, Ohio.... C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey pudin, I have a similar timing light, they arnt great but be careful to have the pointer actually pointing at zero not below it as it actually adds advance again below zero ( its stupid, I dont know why it adds advance either side of the zero mark, it just does :( )
Yes, the fans were designed to constantly be circulating the air in the cab. To keep the Monoxide at a minimum...just in case there was an exhaust leak or someone peeled one off.
The sound effect of the mouse slamming into that door cracks me up every time.
Me too!😆
I am really warming up to Slick’s hubcaps.
I like them I like them a lot... they had me wanting some just like them...
@@kennethwhite7829 I saw some like them when I was searching for trim rings for my steelies, now, I may ask Santa for a set.

Dang that old love tap cleaned up nice. Don't even look like the same old beater it was when you got it. It's good to have a friend like puddin
Now we need the puddin/slick 50 happy hour channel.
The LUV Tap runs top notch thanks to the limited edition Puddin Fab Shop blue coil deluxe!
There is nothing as great as sharing your adventures with a good friend. Puddin, you and Slick 50 work well together and make the rest of us laugh and smile !

Hey Puddin and Slick 👋,
Good to see you have the luv ready to run down the road. Ya'll have a great weekend 👋
In high school, I put a 350 small block in a luv similar to this one. Nearly lost my driver's license because of that wonderful decision.
Hi puddin it's nice to finally be able to comment. I have been a fan for a long time, and you make my day more productive because I am always learning and implementing your skills. You should do an episode on your tattoos I know there is always a good story for almost every one !!
Slick is really turning into a good rent a dragon and I'm liking these short little looks into your day 👍
You should bring slick on full time, I like the banter!
Glad to see the Tap in Tip Top Tune!
these were cool trucks in those days

In ‘74 gm had a system called “Astro ventilation” where the blower motor was always running on low so that’s just a feature of slicks luv
Mighty Mouse “Jumper”. All I can say is, “That Puddin is Slick”. Very entertaining channel. Best wishes.
Three videos this week, so far? I'm saving it for tonight.
on the 1958 oil pressure, remove side cover over the lifters and remove the metal line that feeds the oil pressure up to rocker shaft and make sure its clear.
Careful, You'll be rootin for my Titans with that Two Tone Blue. Find a dirt road guys, time for a drag race !!! Ty for taking us along
I luv that we got a second on the second channel. And some poke county wisdom on progress. AND I never knew about those little things in the carburetor. Learning a lot. thank you. you all are cool.
It's great you two get along so well together.
There's a lot to learn from these small trucks when it comes to durability. Thanks for another entertaining and informative video!

Puddin and slick 50 are way more gooders then the rest on UA-cam! Let's go!!
When I see the Luv Tap sticker and how much of the backwindow it takes up, all I can think of is Ricky Bobby and his fig Newton sticker on the windshield 🤣🤣
Glad you got around to Slick’s Truck. The Luv Tap needed a little love.

That Chevy luv sure does look a lot better a little love and care goes a long ways

Can relate to the wheel joke 😅🤣 been working on my project for the last 3 years it's had about 4 different sets of wheels on it 🤣😅
Slik "50 mile smile"...luv it! NJ
Can see it ,how Smooth the Power comes on & keeps pulling

Not me I don't want the ones they got goin' now to end. I am learning stuff that a regular will it run won't cover.

Danger mouse jumping out at slick I was waiting for penfold to follow 🙂
Puddin... from an article I had read back in the day, the fan does not turn off, as the manufacturer wanted 'positive cabin pressure' so pollutants could not seep into the cab interior from the exhaust system.

Back in the 70's my friend Pete was called " Slick " ...
Really liking this little truck. Glad you’ve got it running so great.
What bromance yall got going. Keep up the grate entertainment fellers 🤓

🎵"And they called it, Puppy 🐶 Luv 💙" 🎵 So beautiful ! 🤣🤣🤣
early style mini trucks with manuals, had vaccum issues.jerry changed his motor with a manual, that would shut down in idle.
I miss kicking it with friends tinkering on cars.
