- The Devil's Partner 1958. Supernatural thriller movie. An old man sells his soul and is turned into a young man. He then uses witchcraft and black magic to win a woman from his rival. Interesting film combines 1950s small-town ambience with some shape-shifting demon worship. Good clean fun. - Broken Trout - broken trout movies
This was filmed in 1958 but was not released until 1961 when Roger Corman aquired the rights and released it as a double feature with "Creature from the haunted sea"

Somehow he finds the scarce ones.

Gotta love Corman!! He went against everyone and their advice and just did it his way.
This is more diabolical an occult thriller than any Hammer film ever sought to create, grubby shack-floor sigil, goat's milk, horses going wild, straight outta the booka Matthew!

This is my new favorite film. I get it. Small town folk lore. This is one reason I like small towns. Very few stories like this are made into films and this is a treasure. Also has the
music. Can't remember the name of the inventor of this instrument, but it's in a lot of films
in this genre. I definitely want to see "Creature From The Haunted Sea'.

Old Nick has all this power to shapeshift yet can't fix a little grazing shot to the shoulder? Still, I've watched this movie a half dozen time, always a fun romp with the devil.
Much thanks for this movie! I've seen it before but not in a lot of years. Some good talent and familiar actors in this. I enjoyed seeing it again.⭐👍❤️ PS it was filmed the year I was born!😅

At 00:21:06, the music. I thought someone was playing a saw but comment has it, it's the Theremin and they used it so many creepy movies. All this time I thought someone was playing the "saw" 😂
