This was neat. I was glad to see Lucille Lund. I only knew her from "The Black Cat" with Karloff and Lugosi. She was very ethereal but had no dialog. She was loads of fun in this!
Well that was an enjoyable little romp thx for that..Gotta love the fighting with arms flailing all over the place and the hushed dialogue as they fight..Also how Dick managed to survive that fall from the cliff beats me 😂😂😂
Much of this was filmed at Bronson Canyon, or Bronson Caves, a section of Griffith Park in Los Angeles...the port might be Long Beach (a guess) but in any case, the daredevil stunts in practically every frame make this little gem one of the absolute best. Thank you for archiving and posting.
richard talmadge , one of the greatest stuntmen ofall times, snd also an action star in his own right, moved over to mascot to double for some of the serial stars. once he performed one of the most incredible stunts ever witnessed before the cameras, from atop a 60 foot cliff he leapt onto a pine tree some ten feet distance away, this amazing stunt was performed without a safety net under him.
Thank you for posting this. I can just sort-of-feel how the kids back in the day must have felt to have to wait till next Saturday to find out what happened.
It's great to see you post one I haven't seen, though I was a little worried that the sound track would be a bit noisy like a few from the 30's & 40's, making them unwatchable for me. No problems here I'm glad to say. Thanks for your uploads, they have kept me, at 73yrs, well-occupied during my self-imposed isolation. Best wishes from 🌴758.
That is one very inclusive tribe of natives. Looks like they have Caribbean and Pacific Islanders and Africans all in one tribe. And is that Spanish they are speaking? That is stock footage for you... if you've seen one native you've seen them all!
I wonder when fist fight scenes quit looking like a bunch of 8th grade girls slapping each other at a slumber party? Was that a code thing or simple incompetence?

youre watacing a real action hero ,
the pace of these action films was grueling and the stars sometimes worked from sunrise to sunset with no overtime pay,
Hard to believe how active Moreland is at age over 40 years old when this picture was made.
richard talmage was a circus acrabat.

This is where Jackie Chan got the stunt of falling through the awnings for Project A and then in Temple of Doom
That was nice !❤
I wake up at 4 AM and need to kill 4 hours, this is just the ticket.

In a humid climate. And no rust on the treasure chest
What kind of convertible was he driving?
I know it seems it is going to be long , but it is worth the watch. You will enjoy it.
Special effects forgot to blow Dick Morelands hair around in the cockpit
Fabulous music! wsj
Pretty good.

Love this. Love that the "natives" in the So Pacific are Mexicans speaking Spanish! LoL!
