I love The Beat, Saw them in Tiffanys, Me and my mate showed Rankin Roger how to Ska dance properly as demonstrated in his performance on TOTP the previous week versus the week after his visit to Edinburgh :) Sad we have lost Roger. That year also saw me see 'Dawn of the Dead' at the movies where I bizarrely associated one of the main characters with the lead, Dave Wakeling. Freaked out when Wake of the Dead came out, FFS

Rankin roger could be seen rollerblading around my neighborhood every other day. Was a real shock that he passed. He seemed so healthy !
