Check out my channel for the latest updates and more MLP goodness!
This version of At the Gala / Best Night Ever includes all the stuff mentioned in my tutorial.
Note
The transition between Applejack's Verse and Rairity's Verse is actually updated a little. I listened to the song a few more times and realized that while the first part of it was correct, the 2nd part was actually like Rairity and RD's transitions. It's just a small change, shouldn't matter much.
They say everyone is their own greatest critic.
Though I feel that this was definitely played better, had fewer mistakes, has higher quality audio and video, and only required 5 edits as opposed to my original uploads 14, I still feel like I can do it better. I think I'll be trying to put together a mash-up in the future that takes full advantage of the different settings available on my piano and the editing software I have. You know, just to see how awesome I can make this song =P
It will likely have way more than this rendition, which is just meant to simulate the tutorial.
Hope you enjoy it! =)
Credit for the original composition goes to Daniel Ingram and I'm sure it's worth mentioning the fine folks at Hasbro at well.
It's a mix of 25% New Age Pad 1 (that's the bells you are hearing) and 75% Grand Piano. The Reverb is set to Stage 2 with its Total Depth at 100%, and the harmony is set to Forest.
well if you have a "mixer" setting that allows you to have more than one voice playing at the same time, that would be what I use for the tones. Mixers usually have a means by which to adjust how strong one voices is as well.
Reverb is a separate setting that allows tone compensation for what sort of room you are playing in. it's total depth is how large the room is.
Harmony is another separate setting. there are many potential voices it can add, but Forest only adds a soft echo effect.
Thanks for the offer! I still don´t think you´ll have the time for that! xD
It´s the ending theme (credits) for Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis ^^

I use a Yamaha CVP-59S Clavinova
It's an old dinosaur of an electric keyboard, but it gets the job done =)
I took up learning the piano just so I might be able to play these songs one day
This video deserve a like good job👍🏻 friend hope one day I can be like you😄😅😌
Thanks alot for sharing your piano skills with us.
I have a very important question though:
Is it possible to take a request for a game soundtrack which i wanted to learn for 3 years now? Everyone else i asked refused to do a tutorial even though they could play it perfectly. Now i didn´t expect anything else because everyone is very busy and i know that too good. I´m busy myself, but i just wanted to kindly ask you!
Keep up your good work!
Greets, Nemesis
