- So my new camera may have been a dud, but while in the process of fiddling with settings for it... BEHOLD! NO MORE PESKY BLACK LINES from my old camera!!! :D
This is attempt #2 to do justice to this awesome song! And only (((1 edit))) was required this time! pats self on back ^_^
I added in a few little bits, slowed it down a bunch, and tried to not have it so "reverb-y" (just look at my right leg and you'll see how I accomplished that) =P
Hope you guys like it! /)^ε^(\
Credit for the original composition goes to Daniel Ingram, and it's definitely worth mentioning the fine folks at Hasbro and Studio B at well.
In the 17 days between compiling the tutorial and recording this cover I had changed how I play that bit around a little.
...actually, in the ~3 months since I recorded this cover I've added 4 more minor changes in addition to the one at 00:39 =P
But that's why the link at the beginning of the tutorial still links to the my original version and vice-versa. ^_^'
I tend to keep refining the songs I play more and more the more I play them. Almost all of my uploaded covers are currently outdated =P
FINALLY! Someone else who realizes that the word "gay" means happy! :D
OMG!! That was pretty neat!!
This kinda reminds me of Sims 2 music; the majority of your piano notes are high pitched but very very soothing ^^. +1Sub bro :)
As always, enjoyable and calm. :D
who WOULDN'T be happy when you're listening to a happy song? :P
Splendid job dude ! ( actually it wasn't just splendid but in fact awesome but i finally wanted to use that word somewhere XD )
Great as always. Nothing more to say!
Wow this sounds amazing!
man you are my inspiration, im 15 and i saw you playing and it immediately made me want to learn piano, i hope to be as good as you one day, brohoof :D
It's been seven years. How you been aging, brother?
Love! XD You play so well! :D
My favorite song from mlp so far.
:D So chipper! I love it!
This was great, thanks for posting :D
Thanks! Then I shall start learning it by tomorrow, something a bit more challenging seems fun :)
I dont even remember subscribing to you but im happy i did
That's the spirit! :D
Amazin' as always B)
Wow!
Proffessional!!
Who would dislike this this is the smile song
true dat
... you play piano so cheerfully :D im learning myself and would be so happy if i could do this song
Unfortunately the only way that there will end up being sheet music for this, or really any of, my renditions is if people go through my tutorials and transcribe them of their own volition. I'm personally not skilled at writing sheet music, that's one of the reasons I make the tutorials. =P
Whenever people do make sheets though, they usually let me know and will send me links, and whenever I'm able to post links to them I do. I also announce on my feed when sheets become available. =)
:awesome:
I think it's just the camera angle, but an interesting point! If you follow the back-left leg on the bench up the black line on the back of my shirt you can see I'm sitting up pretty strait. Then again, I've never really had formal posturing traning aside from my dad saying to sit up strait and pretend like you are holding tennis balls. =P But I know I do tend to slouch a bit, but that's mainly because I'm looking at the keys... *shrug* no need to look up, there's no sheet music there! lol
Well, Smile is a highly repetitive song like WWU. Each repetitive verse varies slightly from the last too. The most challenging parts for me personally were the key change at Part 13 and the dismount from Part 8 leading into Part 9.
When I started learning it, the rhythm in the left hand was difficult to keep constant, but once you get it down the rest of the remainder of the song (aside from the parts mentioned above) is pretty strait forward. =)
But I would still say:
WWU = 5/10
Smile! = 7/10
Okay person that made a bunch of videos explaining why several things apparently suck.
Your under arrest, you have the right to remain silent
okie dokie lokie
/)*(\ I now know how to play piano cause of u
:O I have a question for you Sentenial, how hard would you consider your tutorial for this one? I mean, I've learned your winter wrap up (the re-vamped one), it has a bit of a tricky sections like AJ's verse which was the hardest part for me to master, but I have been able to play it fine after a week or so. Would you say Smile! is harder to learn? because I'm really looking forward to learning it right now xD
How are you so good!!!
Well I know what I'm gonna be up all night doing! *.=.*
Nice clavinova.
you're welcome! /)^ε^(\
Mind me asking, how long have you been playing the piano?
:D
So, how's that transcription coming along, then?
Also, if you still need a good program, try MuseScore. It's free and quite useful.
I HAVE THAT SHIRT. :D
:)
smile smile everybody ehhh..whatever idk how to do it xD
Fine the difference 😄😄😄😄😃sad and lonely pinky pie wel be there.everybody smile smile smile, sunshine sunshine $₩ÄG
I don't mind if you transcribe it so long as you are able to send me a link to it once you are done so I can post it for everyone to see =)
Um, Sheet Music?
oo may i have permission 2 transcribe dis? it might take a while tho i dont have any good programs except for a buggy sibelius 6 that sometimes doesnt do what i need it to do
I wonder if u can play this on a app
do you have a tutorial or sheets for this?
What keyboard do you have?
I might be asking for alot but could you pleeaaase add sheet music?
