Hi Everyone! Re-upload because our upscaler decided to cut out part of the item menu. It is now back in proper state, additional endings included! Like I said before, this is one of my favorite games of all time, a pinnacle of gaming that started the metroidvania genre!
This wasn't just another castlevania game, this was an absolute game changer and along side metriod birthed an entire genre that is still really relevant.
A reupload? Sorry to hear about your old video got taken down. I freaking love this game, it's my favorite castlevania by far (rondo and super castlevania 4 are close). It's truly a game changer and completes the term "metroidvania". It holds up like magic and shouldn't be missed out!!!
This game was without the shadow of a doubt the greatest Castlevania game of ALL TIME!!! Did beat it with the GameShark but could never get the best Ending which means more than 196% of the map. Even though this version of the game has Glitches, I find some of them useful. I do have the reboot version of SOTN & needless to say, doing a good job without using any Cheat Device.
A good game but ever since SoTN, every Castlevania game (mostly) have been sotn/metroidvania clones-ish, which personally ruined the series for me. Super Castlevania IV on SNES was the perfect, shining example of what the Castlevania games should be.
At last I found let's play of this game without this ugly filter which every, goddamn EVERY letsplayer turn on then he/she play PSX games on emulator. Forgot how it called, but it turn every pixel game in goddamned mess resembling early flash-games era. It smoothing pixels, but do it really bad. PS: I read description, and yes, I know this let's play recorded from real hardware. Anyway, god bless letsplayers, who doesn't use stupid filters (in this case - emulators) :)

Are you planning to do more Castlevania games for the channel?
One of the best games of all time! Absolute masterpiece!

it was reuploaded because the pause menu was overcropped in the original
@@Spazbo4 yikes.
I love Symphony of the Night❤
One of the best CastleVania games🔥
Esse jogo é um clássico jogava bastante esse jogo nostálgico console de playstation 1 bons tempos
Finally a peak game
I haven't played any of the castlevania games. I guess I should play this one at least since it's so legendary
I remember AVGN ranting on the game over screen and I have this game on Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles
One of the best PSone games ever
Probably the best vania game
Didn't you already upload this one recently?
That was true but something went wrong & not sure what happened but it’s cool. Can understand that things happen.
Legendary game!

I wish they would remake this game
This guy knows how to beat all bosses
One of the best games not only on PSX with an "OSCAR" soundtrack!!!!!!!!
I thought SotN was already on the PS1 playlist, thought this was the slightly different ( added character and new areas) Saturn version.
Surprised so many people caught it as it was only up for three hours. Had to be reposted due to an overcropping issue
@@longplayarchive not sure what that means but no biggie.
Would LOVE the original PS1 version (maybe convert the Saturn content as minor extras) on Steam (I prefer the cheesy dialogue).
I only beat it on the PlayStation Portable as part of Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, and i will beat it again but on the Xbox Live Arcade.
Another Castlevania game? Woohoo!
In other Castlevania games you get a continue but here the screen melts then the game over screen appears
Dracula is an EVILS (Eternal Vampire I'd Like to Slay).
*Obligatory "What is a man?" comment*
Extremely brutal game!
It was brutal at a time but now it isn’t thanks to some of the Glitches that are in the game.
Had no idea sotn was on playstation
You already uploaded this game not long ago.
It was taken down days later dude. Not sure why but this is a reupload of the video.
Ads haven't been rearranged yet.
...Again.😮💨
