It's a win-win situation: you make the price of gen3 legendaries go down AND you get to make big bucks while doing it! Fixing the economy has never been this rewarding, and on top of that it's pretty fun to do!
@@issak2660 I agree, they were very easy to farm that way, for very low effort! Though it would be nicer for legendary crafting if they became a bit cheaper again 😅
Also a nice tip: While going around you sometimes come across Fox puzzles, doing those also sometimes gives you a runestone. A nice example is the one on the railing at the Zen Daijun temple, it's a nice and easy one to do while waiting for your allies to show up at the puzzle!
About the Echovald Wilds double chest location: Opening the lower chest requires NO CHANNELING, you can open it instantly without the need to fight. I have a thief alt parked by the upper chest with Shadow Refuge slotted. I log in, then: Open upper chest (use Shadow Refuge if there are mobs present), then use Prototype Position Rewinder #1, mount up, go down into cave, use mount stealth to avoid getting hit, open lower chest without any delay, then use Rewinder #2 to get back. Bam, 2 Jade Runestones plus some other loot within 30 seconds. Repeat next day.
Wow, I need to play more in Echovald Wilds. I never noticed how many hidden corners that map has. I never considered Zen Daijun to be a minidungeon, since it was in an open space, but it really fits the word. I already parked 2 alts while watching the video. Time to go farm for my legendary
I would recommend Prototype Position Rewinder for this one. You basically don't have to fight any mobs. Just set position at the highest point and glide / griffon your way down to those chests and get back with skill 2 on Position Rewinder. It's great for any Jumping Puzzles as well (well not for those when you hold something all the way like the torch in Seitung JP)
Me and my friends have done a very similar farm to this way before the nerf to the kaineng jp cheese, but it consists of a lot of nearby fox chests that you might want to squeeze into it! We start just south of the Shing Jea Monastery waypoint, by the vista, there are three fox chests as rocks around a tree, a chase sequence near the ledge of that tree, and then on a double rooftop to the right there's a three plant puzzle. Afterwards we do the Seitung JP and then head further east to catch another rock-around-tree chest right next to the end of the JP, and leap off the edge to go to a three windmills puzzle at the Fish Hatchery; lastly in Seitung there's a quick fox chase at Seitung Prison on a rooftop, be sure to grab any jade runestone chests on the way if you see them! Finally, right before hitting the crypts, there's three more chests at Jade Gate waypoint; a fox chest right near the DE portal, a guaranteed Big Chest east of the waypoint, down below in a cave right next to the bridge, and a chance for a jade tech chest on a tree limb up top. Sorry for the wall of text but these are real easy to grab and really make the runs feel even meatier, especially if you're really lucky, you could be sitting on 20+ a day!

The wiki says that the chests at the end of the new kaineng and seitung jumping puzzles are guaranteed drops. unfortunately this isn't entirely true. I've had several times where one didn't drop when the chest is opened. Perfect example of that is in this video at 1:37, the new kaineng jumping puzzle chest did not yield a jade runestone. Would have been nice if when they nerfed it to once per account per day that they had actually made the drop 100% guaranteed. That said, i still do these daily. thanks!
For those first four chests (not the mini dungeon one), just park a stealth character way up in the trees above the first waypoint. Use a position rewinder and griffon for everything. Activate it and dive to the first chest and reset. Then, you can dive further to get into the cave and use mount stealth to get in and click on the chest since there is no activation time, resetting to escape without a hassle. Third, use the griffon to head west to the location, using stealth if the mobs are there and then reset. The fourth chest is even easier, just griffon glide southwest around the tree walls and dive to it. You have enough time to use the rewinder every time if you know how to use the dive boost. One character, no climbing, and no mob hassle.
Small tip for squishy players on the 2nd chest at 2:40 mark. Use a rewinder! click rewinder, then go to chest, ignore mobs, interact with chest and go back with rewinder. This chest does not require a channel time, so opening is instant, which allows you to not have to worry about the mobs :)
Omg.. I thought the Kaineng JP was ONE Jade Runestone per account per day from EoD launch (I returned mid 2022, and was told by a friend at the time to park a character there.. and assumed there would be no way it'd be per-character as that'd make the runestones super cheap)..... I'll literally die if I've been missing out!! Also I did a chest farm (regular, jade tech, shrine guardian thing) and across an entire map (Kaineng iirc) got TWO Jade Runestones for my efforts..... based on that I'm thinking fishing is my go-to still lol Ahh I see there are quite a few guaranteed chests. From what I can tell, it's only worth getting the 5 easy chests in Echovald forest, in terms of gold/h. For Zen Daijun, it's honestly not worth it solo. Takes me like 20-30mins just to get 3-7 runestones maybe (depending on luck). The bosses are just massive hp sponges. If you insist on doing it though, an insane QOL is taking the defensive protocol. For some reason, the protocol's buffs refreshes every second inside the maze, meaning you have perma aegis, meaning you don't need to dodge the little circles that stun you. I also tried doing the fox spirit chests farm (pathing module on blishhud), no idea if I got unlucky or what but I only got 26 runestones in 3 hours (covering every EoD map including Gyala Delve) and 13 of those were from one-time only achievements. So the real yield is 13 in 3 hours which is really shit.
As usual I am way behind. Didn't look into gen 3 legendaries at all, I must admit. This is great help, just like all of your videos. Thank you so much, Lara.
I got a whole bunch of Jade Runestones without even meaning to when I was doing the Shrine Guardian Kit Achievements for the new Baby Shrine Guardian Mini.
hmm lucky me, been keeping the ones i got from daily jp for a while hoping there will be a time they will go up in price. gw2eff says i have approx 1700 of them :D
In the maze be sure to have defensive protocol. It constantly activates so it does a great job keeping you alive (with aegis procs) while navigating it.
I didn’t even know there were mini dungs in eod, man anet need to rework ui and stop putting everything just under achievements and having a whole new ui for each zone that shows you that stuff like this exists with out searching through a million tabs in achievement panel
I have alts parked at all these spots except for the Valdertz crypts and Zen Daijun. Valdertz frequently bugs out and doesn't give full credit even if you solo it, and Zen Daijun just takes too long. Even skipping those two I still get about 8-10 runestones a day, which is about as many as I was making before
Yeah, I have been hording these items, have about 1.2K in my bank, just waiting to do another Leggie and then now that all the variants are out, picking a few and doing those mini-quests too. Do the shrine guardian puzzles around Gyala Delve while progressing the event. You'll net around 2-3 runestones on average. And the unusual coins buy one for 200 each, too.

It kinda depends!! Getting the Echovald and JP chests is really fast and takes just a couple minutes. The mini dungeons take quite a bit longer, but you can do them faster if you are doing them together with others. On my stream it usually takes us like 30 min total?
Hehe.... I was definitely part of the jade runestone "problem" pre-nerf, I had 41 of my 44 characters parked at the chest. Almost all of it went into making my 3 Aurene legendaries + variants so I didn't make a ton of profit over the few months I farmed it, but I'm not mad they nerfed the Kaineng JP chest. I've now moved some of my alts to the spots mentioned in this video, thanks! :)

i farmed dragons end and gyala glorious chests and didnt receive a single runestone, bug or bad luck as usual ?

Pretty good!! Zen Daijun is quite a bit faster right now because lots of people are doing it, and the bosses die faster with lots of people

You can, but it disappears when you swap maps or log off! Parking a character is a better option to loot it daily
