I will appreciate if you share one video on how you use soap calculator for your recipes or big batches of oils. Your teachings are very easy to understand ... I am a beginner in soap making ❤
Oh Gosh! As usual, you’re Amazing! Love these so much! You always inspire me to try new things with my soaping! I actually made my first HP soap last week after your encouragement to me in an earlier post, and nothing horrible happened! 😂 I did take your advice to watch it, but no lava mountain… Thank God! 🙏🏻 I happen to have those cups you have there. I use them to make bath bombs with frosting and sprinkles on top. I add a little green straw on top through the hole, to mimic a famous coffee house’ Mermaid drink. But also make other varieties. Just a thought if you have extra cups lying around. I also have them in a 3 oz size for my smaller “drink” bath bombs.
I yelped a little after the fragrance was poured into the oils before everything else 😅. I got used to the fragrances going in after everything is mixed into a slurry and before the batter gets poured in molds. I suppose that can be done when you're used to how the fragrance performs before and after the lye is incorporated. Enjoyed watching this 🤩! Cheers!
These are so cute ,they look to nice to use, they should be in a bakery shop😂.You are so lucky as we cant in the UK make anything that resembles food , a lot more laws over here to do with soap making or candles or wax melts .Thank you for sharing again ,you are such an inspiration to us 😊xx
Mmmmm… forbidden cupcakes! Especially love the raspberry embellishments. I get second-hand anxiety when you do piping. No clue why to be honest. Mayyyybe because the mere thought of me attempting piping causes me to hyperventilate 😅
Awesome Ellen! I just watched the cake piece video, too! If I want to try this, do you powder these molds? Also, can you recommend a fragrance oil that doesn’t affect the mix getting thick quick, doesn’t change colors and is maybe light? I would try the round “extra” bar size. I’ve never done this before but I’m dieing to try.
I don't powder the molds, the sodium lactate helps them unmold very smoothly. I suggest reading all the reviews when checking out fragrances, it's so helpful.
The cupcakes are so cute! I have to get a pair of those cute owls. I love your stick blender and want one for myself, so bummed that it is no longer available on Amazon. Ellen you are an inspiration to me!
Now I want to make soap, but my soaps are starting to float me out of the house! More gifts! What is it about starting to soap and then the addiction to it?
Adorable. This technique would also look good making “ lemon meringue” soap.
Ooh. Maybe those molds would be good for a creme brulle soap... Now I am hungry. 😆
Ellen, these are so adorable and your explanations throughout your video are so welcome! Those raspberries are the perfect topping!
Thank you🧁
It was also cool to see the piping change to a lighter color when u piped the other layers
Gracias Ellen por tu generosidad.Impecable trabajo 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, that only works if you know the fragrance behaves well😉

Also, do you have a video on how to make soap from a percentage recipe? I have never done it that way, and it intimidates me to try.
Here's a video for you: ua-cam.com/video/SO5n4uWEVO0/v-deo.html

You must be an empath💕
@@EllenRuthSoap I AM! It’s overwhelming at times, but it truly helps me be a better human.
I love the cupcake soaps. Could you make them with other flavors? I personally love a strawberry or lavender scent cupcake 🧁😁.
Oh yes, you could have a whole range of soapy cupcakes🧁

@@EllenRuthSoap thank you!
So cute! Do you use regular sugar in the lye?
I use unbleached cane sugar, but any sugar will do😉
Adorable
The cupcakes are so cute! I have to get a pair of those cute owls. I love your stick blender and want one for myself, so bummed that it is no longer available on Amazon. Ellen you are an inspiration to me!
I know, it's my favorite stick blender and I can't find them anywhere now...
Hi there Ellen, can u tell me the ratio of Lye and Water- is it 2:1?
It's not quite that steep. I usually soap with a 28% water to oil range. The full written recipe is in the description box.
@@EllenRuthSoap Tq so much for your generous sharings and replies. I highly appreciate it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
May I take a bite? 🤤🙈
🤣🧁
Does the sugar heat your soap up a lot?
No, it doesn't heat up too much...
How to use this soap
I've used them whole, but they are a bit big. So, now I cut them in half and use them, and they fit in the hand better.
Now I want to make soap, but my soaps are starting to float me out of the house! More gifts! What is it about starting to soap and then the addiction to it?
🤣 I totally get you! My house was over-run with soaps until I started selling at a local Farmers Market years ago..
Can I eat them 😂
🤣🧁
Thanks!
Thank you so much❣️
