Not going to lie -- I clicked on this because it reminded me of Safiya's video and I was curious to see if y'all were inspired by it lol I'm loving this response to Safiya (who isn't really an experienced soapmaker) trying your recipes/methods
I find soap frosting so satisfying! (Although I'll confess the other set of arms with the denim sleeves in some of the close up shots kept distracting me LOL, the open cuffs were precariously close to being covered in soap)
This is so great! I found your channel through Safiya. Since then I've been obsessed with the world of youtube soap making. I'm absolutely going to try it for myself.
Same! Saf's first soap video with the hanger swirl got me into this channel. And since then, I've become obsessed with soap... hopefully I will have my craft shed done this summer so I can start making soap!
@Cyrena Norris - Cristine recently talked about that collab on her podcast, where she said it was kind of an awkward collab because they were simply two people who had very different styles and ways of filming and doing things.
Pretty! I like how you will fix the errors live instead of the perfect video without the fails cause that happens! A behind-the-scene where mistakes can happen to anyone. :) Love your videos!

I love this community! Every interaction I've seen between the different creators has been nothing except positive. Just a whole community of wonderful people being supportive of each other. Its beautiful!
Thank You Ann-Marie You have taught me so much over the year's, I appreciate your kind beautiful face and smile, I love ordering from Bramble Berry, You pull off a great video every time.
They definitely look good enough to eat, therefore, I would have to put a sign on them making sure everyone sees it (SOAP, DO NOT EAT)!!! Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs!!!
I'm so inspired by this lady, I first watched Safiya's tutorial but I needed to see the master, I remember her once on tv although I didn't pay attention since I was getting ready for my job, but now I work for myself and I'm able to make those pretty cupcakes, so thanks Anne-Marie for sharing your talent ;)
Oh my gosh you guys need to do a colab! I love both of you and was so excited when Saf was using your videos as a guide. I saw this post and I was joking thinking that you were doing hers and then you did! I’m so excited!
I’m so glad I discovered soap making and bramble berry through safiya, I do a lot of crafts, sewing, making lip scrub, resin, felting, but all of them got repetitive, but soap making never feels like a chore and I just want to make MORE soap to the point where I’m left asking myself, what will I do with all this soap?
Thanks for keeping it real Anne Marie. I have never tried making soap cupcakes thinking that people would not actually use them. Plus I have never piped frosting. It just looks like so much fun, I may just go ahead and give it a go.
You did a good job and I really like them. You become your true self around time 17:00 and I love it. It's okay if you don't like piping, as you are GREAT at soapmaking!
Close up "gloves"... Far away "no gloves"! The magic of recording! 😂 Thanks for sharing Ann-Marie, they do look lovely and are my favourite thing to make!! 💞
Any time I think about lye burns, I think of that scene from Fight Club. That is absolutely enough to convince me to wear all the skin protection available!!!
Because of health reasons I am unable to use lye solution. However hope you'll bring out something in the future that can be used with melt and pour as frosting. Hope your products become available in the UK in the future. 😃🌻🐈
She commented on another on that they did two shootings of making these cupcakes. And you can tell because the close up cupcakes are frosted in a different order
I don't get why so many people don't twist the top of the piping bags... no spilling from the top, so easy ;) I love the cupcakes though. Will need to try this!
An Anne-Marie and Safiya friendship/collab is everything I never knew I needed. Frankensoap? Get inspiration from Sorted and have Anne-Marie guide (via Skype/Zoom/something) Safiya through a soap recipe? I don't know, but the back-and-forth inspiration and reactions all make me so happy.
As a melt and pour soap maker you lost me at cold process - but there is a 3d cupcake mold that I could use - except for the embeds but still doable for MP
Hi deary I love the outcome of these. Did you put them in the fridge or freezer toilet them set up a bit? I believe I saw the sweat on the side of the mold. Is that something you’d recommend doing?
Omg! I have been a huge fan of both of you guys for the longest time and never had I even imagined that two of my favorite universes would collide! Marvel Who?
How long can the initial cupcake, base or a block/mold of cold process soap harden before you can add embellishments like the frosting? I made a large block of soap but learned to add rose petals, they turn dark due to the high temp of the soap as it saponifies. I am guessing the same would be true with piping until the next day or so. Right?...or will the toppings not stick? Help! Thanks!
I think it's very weird how when they Are up close with her frosting she appears to have a long sleeve shirt on with a pull over shirt and the sleeve is getting in the frosting but when you pull back the camera she doesn't have that top shirt on weird
@@bramble-berry Haha yaaaas I so saw that towards the end of the video lol they are to cute tho. I've been meaning to order some stuff from yall so I can get back to making as well
Hi friends does anyone now if I can use something other than alcohol? Like witch hazel maybe? Rubbing alcohol is really hard to find right now. Love the videos thank you!
I swear, this editing. 😂😂😂😂 Not trying to pick on y'all, because I absolutely _love_ Bramble Berry, but at 19:02 she's saying she's not gonna wear gloves, and she's not wearing gloves, then at 19:04 gloves magically appear on her fingers. 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 So funny. Love y'all too pieces anyways, though. 😂😂😂😂
I recently just came across Aloe Vera Powder as an ingredient and since this is not gel like in form, does it mean that using this would not require preservatives?
hey i had a question which has been bugging me for a while . so , i refrigerated my beeswax block for some time and i was wondering if taking it out of the fridge is going to spoil the beeswax or not . do i have to keep my beeswax refrigerated all the time now or like i can store it at room temperature ? please could you help me with this ?
Putting in the fridge can prevent or slow gel phase, depending on how hot your mixture gets while you're making everything. If you'd like to know more, we have a great article on gel phase and when you might want to force or prevent it: www.brambleberry.com/articles/art0024-all-about-gel-phase.html
Hi, I have a question about fumes from the lye. Is there a way to reduce the fumes. I saw a home setter freezes the water(ice cubes) and she freezes fresh goat milk(also frozen cubes). Then she adds the lye n then oil of choice. Is this really possible?
Me waiting for my soap supplies to arrive in the mail imagining what goes on in the bramble berry factory: 🧠: aLl HaIl tHe SoAp QuEeN! aLl HaIl tHe SoAp QuEen! Anne-Marie!!!!
Anyone etat distracted by the fact that the close up shots of her adding embeds were done at a different time? She says she's not wearing gloves, but she was in the shot. Not mad, just distracted.
I CPOP all my soaps unless they have M&P embeds, and not a single one of my frosted soaps have ever "melted" or had any problems with the 170F oven... I doubt anywhere is going to be hot enough to "melt" soap frosting or even M&P embeds lol. Unless you're trying to avoid gel phase, you shouldn't have to put your soap in the fridge.
Is it me or does anyone notice that the video cuts or “b” footage is completely different? Haha she’s not wearing gloves but it cuts to someone who is. Not to mention someone was wearing a jean jacket while doing the frosting 🧁. It kept getting into the cupcake and Anne Marie isn’t in the video. Haha 😂 I got super distracted yelling at the tv every time it got into the soap. I’m assuming this means you (or someone) made the soap at least twice then? That’s a lot of work for a video!
Am I the only one who noticed that Anne Marie isn't wearing a jacket jeans but at the close ups there is someone else with jeans sleves? Who does the soaps?
Why not use rubbing alcohol between layers for better adhesion, as in some other videos? Is the use of rubbing alcohol only for soaps that are completely from Melt and Pour Soap Base?
yesss anne marie!!! i LOVE these! i’m so honored omg 🥺
When COVID is over you guys definitely need to do a collab. 🙃
omg you have to collab!
I am your biggest fan
Make a Franken-soap with her plsss🙈
Yes! A frankensoap collab would be superb
Oh my gosh I love this!! Safiya has to see this, she would be honored!
She had it’s on her story

I find soap frosting so satisfying! (Although I'll confess the other set of arms with the denim sleeves in some of the close up shots kept distracting me LOL, the open cuffs were precariously close to being covered in soap)
Omg yes!! I’m pretty sure they actually did get soap on the sleeves in the later shots 😬
Was looking for this comment 🤣 saaaaame😅

True I also started loving the soap world!!
In retrospect, when Safiya was talking about Anne-Marie being the lizard king like Anne-Marie saw the video and watched it 😂
Safiya sent me here! I love your channel
Saf and Anne-Marie doing a collab would be like when Cristine and Yo (How to Cake It?) did a collab, except probably less chaotic. 😂🤣
I'll be honest. It was so weird to watch. (Cristine and Yo.)
@Cyrena Norris - Cristine recently talked about that collab on her podcast, where she said it was kind of an awkward collab because they were simply two people who had very different styles and ways of filming and doing things.
Safyia will love this. Would love to see the two of them together. Started watching this because of Safyia
Omg I love how sweet this entire video is! I’m so glad she recreated Safiya’s soap!

Just ordered MoonChild fragrance oil earlier this week!!! I need to order some molds!!!
I think saf and anne should collab and make a new fragrance. They should have a kit with a soap and scrub.

I was really hoping she would say smash that like button
COOL!!!!
Lol, I saw that video yesterday! Sofia was so funny!!! But she is incredibly superb too
so beautiful !
I love this fragrance oil! It reminds me of Elizabeth Ardens Green tea perfume
Anne Marie can be a little awkward on camera and I just think it is so charming because she just feels so relatable 🥺🖤 this was such a fun video!
Because of health reasons I am unable to use lye solution. However hope you'll bring out something in the future that can be used with melt and pour as frosting. Hope your products become available in the UK in the future. 😃🌻🐈
That look beautiful
Lol one shot placing moon & stars youre gloveless, then gloves🤣 depending on if its a close up or full screen
I noticed that too. And the shirt sleeve changed.
And the up close shots of the frosting she has on a jean jacket that’s touching all of the toppings. It was driving me nuts!
She commented on another on that they did two shootings of making these cupcakes. And you can tell because the close up cupcakes are frosted in a different order

I love your products, but I can’t get them because I live in Mexico. Have you planned to start to ship outside to USA?

Hi friends does anyone now if I can use something other than alcohol? Like witch hazel maybe? Rubbing alcohol is really hard to find right now. Love the videos thank you!
When brewed it, it give a very pale, champagne-coloured liquor that has a very light, soft, sweet, velvety flavour.
