Corey, I think you should always first make sure that your interviewees understand that you're asking on behalf of other people, and that your questions do not represent your own views. That way you'll get less "shame on you" type of answers, and more answers to the actual question. Also, if people have a problem with the question, this will give them a chance to explain what that problem is, instead pf getting angry at you for asking it.
This. He does it every video and I wonder if he’s cognizant of it or is he doing it on purpose. Middle easterners can be very literal and these things can escalate
@@Jan_Heckmann Perhaps not in all cases? Going by at least some of the answers, it seems many people still think that he's expressing his own views. Then again, it could be that they just didn't really listen to the explanation.
Seriously. Don’t be phrasing it “Why do YOU scream ‘death to ____’…” when you have zero evidence that that particular individual has done such a thing? I feel like he’s done this in a lot of videos. It’s very cringy and I feel like you lose credibility as an interviewer. Just ask, “Why do many settlers scream…?” instead. Overall this is a terrific channel, but the way you’re asking individuals in this way seems very odd to me.

And you believe that it must be true because well. He says so. Jesus Christ people are gullible Why do you think Palestinians HATE the PLO? Ask them tomorrow and they will tell you get rid of them. Because the PLO stops Palestinians from protesting etc against Isnotreal. Simple google search is not hard. Educate
As an occupier force, who has the authority over all people in the land of Israel, how is israel not responsible by killing of Palestinian children. Because israel obviously does it but gives excuses for it. By that guy's logic, isn't Israelites voting for the people who supports killing children? I wonder when the tide turns,if this same logic applies.
The thing is there are also incentives from the Israeli government, the current one being the worse in that sense, as it allows illegal settlements. A few months ago there was a video of Ben Gvir saying he'll recommend an Israeli sniper for a medal, for having shot at a kid playing with a firework during Ramadan from the safety of his watchtower. A Haaretz article reported that only 3% of all Israeli attacks on Palestinians go to court (which means not all result in a guilty verdict or condemnation). All of this is incentive to carry out crimes.
Well it's houths who say that not palestinians study your propaganda first, and they saying that to remind you what happened to your ansesters when they violated the peace agreement with Muslims and collaborate with maccnians to kill all Muslims and with and army of 30k against 1-2k Muslims they failed and grown man participated this war got killed and then Jews and Muslims lives in peace until zionists came to repeat the cycle again, simply warning you from your future
Nothing wrong with it specially after hearing the second terrorist in the video and people who are oppressed and colonized should never stop hating their brutal colonizers regardless of their religion and race.
don't ask why they do, ask if they do and if so why. when you ask presumptuous questions people close down. just change the question. it's basic respect.
It’s always crucial to bend over backwards to accommodate the most exquisitely sensitive feelings of racist genocidal neofascists. I mean, you wouldn’t want racist genocidal neofascists to feel even the slightest momentary discomfort especially for their own actions, statements, and beliefs. That would smack too much of personal responsibility, and the one thing racist genocidal neofascists avoid is any hint of personal responsibility, aka, “being canceled, rightly, for being racist genocidal neofascists.

This is a lovely video. I appreciate the Jews for being so level headed. I hope their hearts are pure too. If they are, then it is time for Palestinians to learn from them too. So, we have more dialogue and peace rather than killing of children on both sides. May God bless these Jews more! My question to the Jews is: Do they have an opinion on who should the other humans worship and why?

I have been to Israel numerous times and have never heard anyone say anything close to those to accusations. I have heard people speak poorly of Arabs but never extreme hatred like the two questions Corey is asking. I would assume that 95% of Jewish Israelis do not say anything like this but of course there are some crazies, some extremists. But dosent every country have them?
In what kind of imaginary world do you live in ? There are countless videos of mobs chanting death to arabs. Most israelis are racist fascists and their governments of the last 75 years are evident of that.

This would have been better if you had asked "why do some people say or do these things?". Of course, anybody with a camera pointing at them is going to say "Oh no, I'm a good, peaceful person I'd never say or do something like that". And yet... we know that it does sometimes happen. So knowing that the people saying/doing those things you personally would never do, would probably claim to share a common set of values and beliefs with you, how do you explain the difference in behaviour?

As a Christian who lives in the UK, I am surrounded by people who use Jesus name as a curse word on a daily basis, and I remain silent and polite to people who do this, as I know they have no value or respect for the name or the person. I often wonder why people don't use Hitler's name as a curse word more often or Stalin - they were really evil and murdered people. Indeed Muhammad was a war lord and beheaded multiple people, yet I have never heard his name used as a curse word. The irony - the person who loved humanity and never killed anybody is hated the most. We live in a society where evil is called good, and good is called evil.
1:18 he didn't have to say anything against Mohammed. He doesn't have to even insult Mohammed. Simply saying he doesn't believe in him(as a prophet) means in islam he's among the disbelievers and any of us who know even a little 🤏🏻 about the Quran and Islam, we know what it says about the disbelievers.
You don't understand that the point of making such an extreme accusation is to give the Israelis the opportunity to rebalance and publicly prove that they don't have such extremist and immoral views. Because today, with the 15,000 children killed by Tsahal, some Europeans are tending to generalize this extremist behavior to the whole population, attributing to them murderous impulses that they obviously don't have.
The interviewer knows deeps down that Israelis hold a grudge against Arabs but he asked this question in the belief he would prove the Palestinians wrong. He plays on both sides.
No question is a bad question, just because you think it's bad it does not mean it's bad. The whole point of this channel is to ask questions that OTHER people might have, maybe not you David, but others might think this way, and answering THEIR question is just as important. It's better not to assume everyone thinks the same as you, if they did, there would be no wars in the world.
In my experience, it is the other way around but I come from a country that believes in freedom of speech. If their religion is so powerful, it wouldn't matter what someone says.
There's a difference between living in a democracy where anyone can say anything... vs an apartheid state where only one side enjoys these freedoms of speech, and the other side gets jailed for even showing support with their own side
I'd say this is pretty accurate in my experience talking to most people who live in the settlements. I want to applaud you Corey for putting up with the comments, expecting you to hunt down the expected response that the audience is calling for. No survey, or poll with every capture every perspective or nuance. You are one man with a camera, and questions sent to you by viewers asking INDIVIDUALS. so Kuddos. My understanding is that by and large, most settlers live in the WB not motivated by ideology, but rather because it is close to their family, affordable, available housing, etc. Maybe things have changed over the past 20 years. Of course there are more extreme factions, but I don't think people are aware of how peripheral they are in peoples daily lives, or even geographically. Like if I were to pick up a camera and interview people in the street in some random city in America, and ask them about the KKK, wouldn't they look at me like I was a weirdo?(maybe this is not the right analogy?) At least that is my experience, and what I have witnessed. Their behavior and rhetoric does not have popular support. From time to time Israelis do see it on the news/papers but I haven't seen reporting on it viewed with favor. Like when young teens and men go through the old city and chant, and attack. As for that minority, who happens to be loud, and all too powerful, I think they are vile, and I have only met a few adults who have expressed support in Israel (obviously they exist, otherwise they wouldn't have members in Knesset). Take for example the last man interviewed. I have also had a handful of teenagers in the courses I teach, curse Arabs, or say 'death to Arabs' after a terror attack, which immediately is met with push back (calling for violence is a redline). In my experience, at least in secular public schools, racist comments are addressed by teachers and admin. What happens at home, said at home, I don't know.
I live in a "settlement" and you are spot on. Most people here just want to live their lives in peace and allow our Arab neighbors to live in peace too. Are there extremists who say or think "mavet l'aravim"? Yes, unfortunately there are - but it's mainly kids on the fringe who say it for attention or to vent their frustration. I think it's important to realize also that the teenagers you see on on video screaming "mavet l'aravim" have been exposed to Arab violence their entire lives. Many of them have lost friends and relatives to terror. There is definitely frustration, anger, and trauma wrapped up in that statement. That being said, everyone I know condemns it and tries to teach their kids to overcome their natural anger and frustration. As for "cursing the prophet," that's just plain stupid. We couldn't care less about your prophet; why would we curse him? It never occurred to me to curse him because he has zero significance in my life.

For those who call out Corey why the question is phrased like that: it's called "The Loaded Question" fallacy. Quite a typical example. And I respect Corey for not changing the malicious rhetoric though (probably this is the exact phrasing he received the question from a Palestinian Muslim). In fact, I think the question must be part of the experiment, but interesting to see how even like this, almost all Israelis give a very considerate and polite, honest answer.
Corey, the fact that you've not been interviewing Palestinians that much since Oct 7, but relentlessly making videos with Israelis asking questions like this.... it's not having the impact you think it's having. Peoples misconceptions about Israel is not being debunked, they're just being reinforced.
First of all pretty sure it's a lot easier to interview Israelis than Palestinians in this context. But who told you he was trying to prove a point in his interviews ? LOL
He's most probably afraid to go now to the west bank. Tensions are high there now. Asking controversial questions as an israeli there might put his life at risk
Pretty much every video he posted since October 7, including this one, says in the description it was filmed before October 7. What makes you think he's not interviewing Palestinians but is relentlessly interviewing Israelis, if all the videos are from before 7 months ago?
The questioner is so deluded and has swallowed so much propaganda that I think it’s a lost cause. You should at least tell people before they ask them such questions that it’s not your question at all and you are just relating what other people said, or even better, start off by saying “do you” rather than “why do you?”
Your interview style wasn't very good this week. It's one thing to ask the question and quite another to go to bat for the deluded beliefs such a deluded question.
You assume this because you don’t know him. He’s been making these videos for like 10 years. The VIEWERS ask, he goes to Israel/Palestine to ask the locals. And in both countries he asks questions like this and plays the devil’s advocates It’s simple. Just because you don’t agree with the phrasing doesn’t make it wrong. It’s all about seeing things in perspective.
@@wintutorials2282 I have watched hundreds of these videos. I am of course, aware of the fact that Cory is just relating what the questioner sent in, but in this case, the question is phrased in such a provocative manner that often the answers will likewise not be thoughtful. I think there’s nothing wrong if Cory prefaces the question by saying “do you call for …. And if so, why?” But there is one thing that comes out of all this: from the questioner’s assumptions, we can all see that there are many many people who are absolutely deluded. And there’s no real point in having any conversation with such people until they can get un-brainwashed.
Why do you make bad videos and saying horrible things? I dont actually think that, but you see how just choosing your words poorly can completely derail a conversation, instead say, why do people say Jews etc, or Do you say etc.
It's not his words, it's words use by people who accuse israelis to be extremists, racists.. His work is to interview different people let express several point of views. I have the impression that he tries to intervene as little as possible to let everyone's freedom of thought express itself naturally and without manipulation.
@@InFellowShip I know their not his words or questions , my point is why does he have to go up to people, ask them for an interview and then say “so why are you such a piece of crap?” “How long have you been a piece of crap” hahaha. Even if you wanted to not change any of the words on the questions you could just say, someone wants to know “why do you fill in the blank” lol
It's litteraly not his words, he asks questions OTHERS have, wether you think they are "bad" or not, is irrelevant, questions being answered is how truth comes to light.
@@Rauzul they become his words when he says then tho right? You’re an idiot. Oh those aren’t my words, that’s just my job to do interviews telling you what people have said haha. When you go up to someone, and you don’t clarify to then these are questions you’ve received, the interviewees are going to immediately assume that YOU are attacking them, and instead of giving a thoughtful answer they’re going to give a defensive answer. This isn’t a hard concept to grasp.
Why are kids chanting “D to Arabs” where did they get it from? Common sense should tell that they learned it at home. I saw videos of young kids chanting it I also saw a video of a whole soccer stadium changing it.
the problem with that question is that its like you are accusing them. you can ask do you do it? why do ppl do it? what do you think about it? so many people assume things about us israeli, its tiring.
About the last guy. The difference is that Israeli terrorists go to jail and Palestinian terrorists and their families get money and real estate. With that you can draw your own conclusions on who is getting encouraged to make terror attacks
If the Palestinian resistance are terorrist then surely the IDF are also terrorists. They kill people for political/ideological reasons, and thats the correct definition of terrorism. If we look at the facts, the IDF are way more worse and killed way more of innocent people, mostly children, by orders from the govermant itself. When it becomes to the word terrorism I follow the opinion of Rosalyn, she said that it has an empty meaning, and is useless so the colonisers can mark their victims so they can do whatever they want to them. I think Corey wants to preserve the tone of the original question. At the end of the day, he's not the one who's actually asking it. He's just the messenger.

10:42 So, the last time people voted for Hamas was 18 years ago, and they got 43% of the vote, meaning not only didn't most of them vote for Hamas then, but the vast majority of them never voted for Hamas because they were too young or not even born when that election took place. Israel had much more recent elections and voted for a party with members that were literally convicted of hate crimes, if you want to go down his line of reasoning.
How do you think other governments actually changed without election? It says something.
90% of Gazans supported Hamas at the beginning of the war. Now 30% are protesting Hamas demanding the release of hostages. It doesn't matter who voted them in they support them. Anyway Hamas hasn't allowed the younger generation the opportunity to vote since 2007
If Hamas is not representative of the people why were ordinary Gazans dancing on the streets on October 7th, spitting on the body of the dead German Israeli, hitting that little kidnapped Israeli kid and cheering on those who came in with the kidnapped? Here is my question: Prior to Oct 7th, what could Israel have done to make peace and have coexistence with Palestinians?
disband the west bank checkpoints, allow free passage between gaza and the west bank. disband settlement hill fortresses in the west bank and any that remain in gaza. You are really asking how can you make peace when you're occupying and blockading another nation. First you stop the occupation and blockade. How can you make peace with someone with whom you are actively at war?
@ZechsMerquise73 - Are you saying they could go back to the 1947 status and have peace? Or would they need to disband Israel as a nation?
@ZechsMerquise73 Just listen to yourself. You are admitting that there is no peace to be had between the state of Israel and Hamas. Any effort to try to force Israel to stop the war is a call for genocide against the Jews. Israel has a right to exist and to live in peace. They have demonstrated that for almost 80 years. It is the Arabs that have refused peace and continue to refuse peace. They are taking the only rational action available to them. Hamas, like Fatah and the PLO before it has filled the minds of the people with hatred and false promises so as to doom their own people. It's disgusting. When the bombs fall, let the blood be on the hands of those who assured their use. Arab leadership. They have sacrificed the lives of multiple generations.
@@paneofrealitychannel8204 no, it is not genocide to give people access to travel and personal freedom. what are you even responding to?

Sanhedrin 59a: “Murdering Goyim is like killing a wild animal.”
Abodah Zara 26b: “Even the best of the Gentiles should be killed.”
Sanhedrin 59a: “A goy (Gentile) who pries into The Law (Talmud) is guilty of death.”
Libbre David 37: “To communicate anything to a Goy about our religious relations would be equal to the killing of all Jews, for if the Goyim knew what we teach about them, they would kill us openly.”
Libbre David 37: “If a Jew be called upon to explain any part of the rabbinic books, he ought to give only a false explanation. Who ever will violate this order shall be put to death.”
(They contest the previous two)
Yebhamoth 11b: “Sexual intercourse with a little girl is permitted if she is three years of age.”
Schabouth Hag. 6d: “Jews may swear falsely by use of subterfuge wording.”
Hilkkoth Akum X1: “Do not save Goyim in danger of death.”
Hilkkoth Akum X1: “Show no mercy to the Goyim.”
Choschen Hamm 388, 15: “If it can be proven that someone has given the money of Israelites to the Goyim, a way must be found after prudent consideration to wipe him off the face of the earth.”
Choschen Hamm 266,1: “A Jew may keep anything he finds which belongs to the Akum (Gentile). For he who returns lost property (to Gentiles) sins against the Law by increasing the power of the transgressors of the Law. It is praiseworthy, however, to return lost property if it is done to honor the name of God, namely, if by so doing, Christians will praise the Jews and look upon them as honorable people.”
Szaaloth-Utszabot, The Book of Jore Dia 17: “A Jew should and must make a false oath when the Goyim asks if our books contain anything against them.”
Baba Necia 114, 6: “The Jews are human beings, but the nations of the world are not human beings but beasts.”
Simeon Haddarsen, fol. 56-D: “When the Messiah comes every Jew will have 2800 slaves.”
Nidrasch Talpioth, p. 225-L: “Jehovah created the non-Jew in human form so that the Jew would not have to be served by beasts. The non-Jew is consequently an animal in human form, and condemned to serve the Jew day and night.”
Aboda Sarah 37a: “A Gentile girl who is three years old can be violated.”
Gad. Shas. 2:2: “A Jew may violate but not marry a non-Jewish girl.”
Tosefta. Aboda Zara B, 5: “If a goy kills a goy or a Jew, he is responsible; but if a Jew kills a goy, he is NOT responsible.”

He does both.
Pretty much every video he posted since October 7, including this one, says in the description it was filmed before October 7. What makes you think he's not interviewing Palestinians but is relentlessly interviewing Israelis, if all the videos are from before 7 months ago?
Very powerful video. May the rest of the world have their eyes open to see the beauty of Israel and Israelis.
It's not a question he came up with. He's the delivery man for questions asked by other people (the person is written at the beginning of each video)

11:45 this guy is wild lol
Despite him being Israeli I feel like he acts more like an American jew.
Cory has approached these interviews with preconceived conclusions and sounds like he thinks the israelis will not tell him what he wants to hear.
Great journalism Corey ❤
6:16 very common and alarming misquote of Habakkuk….she says “a person shall live according to his beliefs….but the correct quote is “a Saint should live according to his beliefs…this mistake is misguided and may lead one to believe that the wicked or misguided are like the saints…Oy vey!
The correct translation is not “saint” in the catholic sense but “righteous”… meaning that the righteous and faithful will live, or that the righteous will live by their faith. Nowadays it’s often misquoted to mean, each can live by their own faith.
@@TheLaceWeaver thanks for the clarification
"I'm not aware of any such case" 😆
So according to that woman if I insult whatever prophet/god that the other person beleives in our of anger it's acceptable??
Not acceptable but understandable, big distinction.
I HAVE A QUESTION TO ASK - Why aint they protesting for people of Gaza, whos children are getting bombed to death, daily?
Wheres the protests for them?
Or wheres the counter-protests for the people stopping the aid trucks going into Gaza?
Why is hamass still hiding behind children and still firing rockets into Israel?
why are gaznas completely devoid of self-preservation instincts expecting others to babysit them?
Why is hamass hidden behind and under the refugees only to come out and shoot rockets at Israel?
Hamass comes from the people of gaza.
These people are such scumbags. The way they smirk and lie through their teeth is beyond infuriating. Yet another great video Corey.
Are you joking? You can see video after video of palestineans insisting on death and war and you think these folks are your problem?
As Israeli the way you ask is antegonizing, you need to say before this is a question that came from a person not from Israel and than ask the question.I would be insulted and angry if you asked me and didn't explained it before.
ew
Poor Israelis, committing a genocide and ethnic cleansing for 75 years and yet they feel offended about everything and ashamed of nothing.
They do chant dth to arabs
You have to change the “why” with “do you”
I think Corey wants to preserve the tone of the original question. At the end of the day, he's not the one who's actually asking it. He's just the messenger.
I love this guy , he is not taking sides
