I like the way Baker carries herself and shines like a bright light and takes no guff. Eddie did take a chance that paid off, kudos.

I loved the scene with Baker, but the following scene made me nervous. That could have gone sideways in so many ways. Eddie took a big risk, that luckily paid off. That said, wouldn't it be a fun twist if latter in the season McNichols recommended Eddie for an undercover detective assignment based on her "performance" in this episode (i.e., her detective work and convincing "lying")?
