- A bit of a rough start, but I got it figured out!
Recommendations after this flight-
CG Range 45-47mm from LE
Up/Down Throw- 5mm each way
Aileron Throw- 6mm each way
Neutral Trailing Edge Setting- 1.5mm up
Electric Model-
Consider 2-3 degrees of down thrust in motor installation
The CCM Riddick is proudly made in Ukraine. This little flying wing has a 1.2 meter span. It is available as a pure glider for the slope (light and hard versions) as well as a light eclectic model for sport flying and thermal flying. It is fully composite, the wings are all carbon fiber and the fuselage is fiberglass.
Total flying weight after assembly- 336 grams or about 12oz, should thermal well! Very light.

I received my Riddick electric from Flightcomp. I am flying it at 44-45mm CG and it is very nimble and easy to handle on that CG. I put some degrees of down trust when installing the motor and it helps to keep it flying in straight line up to mid throttle, at full she will go full vertical. I am flying it with a 1806 2580kv, GNB 660mah 7.6v HV lipo, ccm 6x4 prop and spinner…super nice!
Awesome. I wish I had put down thrust in my model.
looks like a hand full and fun!! (tell your camera guy not to chew gum while filming)
Hahaha...we had a chat about the gum before we started.
It looks like a big handful of expo might help. My 3d planes I sometimes start off with 80-100% expo and tone the rates down for the maiden
It looks like fun!
Sometimes it’s fun to fly a model that freaks you out. It’s a challenge.
LOL
reflex will raise nose up...
to the best I know, all flying wing types, need reflex on the trailing edge. Why, the center of pressure/ lift on all wings cause them to go down just like it did.
The airfoil is reflexed.
Take camera off auto focus and select infinity in manual. Now all of the footage will be in focus.
I've tried that...same result. I don't have a super fancy camera.
If you are not familiar with deltas you need reflex!
Reflex is built into the airfoil.
what is Build into air foil, Reflex is - raise Aileron up a little bit in my understanding @@flightcomp
