  • This recording, resurrected from an old cassette tape, was taken from a live broadcast at WCMF studios in Rochester New York in 1977... remember radio??
The band is AURORA.... this tape/song, "Stratus" by Billy Cobham, made its way into Billy's hands and started our first attempt at working together..... You never know who's listening!
Any seemingly insignificant situation can change the direction of life...
It happens to everyone... many times. This represents one of my changes....:-)
A 40 min show, the rest of the broadcast can be heard on my UA-cam page.
AURORA is short-lived venture into original and cover fusion music of the '70s.
Don Mancuso guitar, Pat Patrone guitar, Greg Brown bass, Mark Miller drums.
Thanks to Greg for unearthing this little bit of history :-)

I love Mark's drumming. I was also a drummer in a local rock band, but 8 years ago I had a stroke and survived, but the left side of my body is still paralyzed. Of course, I can't play any instruments, not just the drums, and I can't sing. Of course, I can't drive a car. I still can't forget Mark's playing at the Taras live show. I listen to Taras' 1985 album every week. Thank you for the new music. It's amazing that Don Marcuso from the Lou Gramm band was there too!

It's a hard World. You know how much so while others take their time for granted. Best to you.

I can see your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
