    Inevitable flow to Zion:
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55)

Nephi was "visted" by the Lord three times. The first time was simply a softening of his heart so that he believed his father. This implies that Nephi was uncertain to some degree initially. After the third visit, Nephi was all in.

We are all mixed up for precisely this reason. Some improve a little, and very few a lot, but the process is necessary-not just for that, but to better understand the Lord’s experience and have the chance to accrue greater joy when we meet those more like ourselves or better than us.

Very true. The future sifting of the righteous from the wicked will be hard and gut-wrenching, because much of that separation will be from friends and family, but it also opens up the door to gathering with people who are like-minded and the sorrow will turn to joy. I am fortunate, however, to have a supportive wife and a child (the other one is only 1) who truly loves the Lord and desires to know him. It's been a tender mercy. Also having the internet to communicate with people of light is a plus that holy men in the past did not have. Although this mode of communication will not be around forever. Nevertheless, thanks Rob for you support and help along the way.

Thanks for making this video. I don't know you personally but hopefully will one day. These videos you have made do help and one day hopefully we will be able to see eye to eye. Thanks for being a good example.

Thanks for the kind words. These statements help to give me motivation to continue pushing forward. But I won't give up. I gave everything up for the Lord to stop now. But I have greater understanding on what it means to sorrow for the sins of the world. I hope I continue to be a light in your life.

I know your struggle and I know your sorrow. The best you can do is be a light in the darkness. Some of that light sticks with them and when they're at their lowest, they'll remember your light and your words and make course corrections, just like you are doing. But some won't and all you can do is move forward. You will lose many friends and be shunned by family, but as you move forward in the light, you will find new friends and new family until you find yourself in the family of our Savior. This is the way.

Brings a whole new meaning to sifting the wheat from the chaff and how the gathering works. We share what we can and then must depart -- either through physical separation or death. I am fortunate, however, that you live close to me-- and thus I am not alone. Thanks for your help!
