I just picked up that Lamson Liquid 3 pack.. What a deal alot of value and there are no complaints as iam just starting for the salt and fresh for bass and stripers
@@rob3518 I respectfully disagree. A $600 line holder is foolish for anyone in any wage bracket. Even a fully machined, sealed drag, salt water fly reels is not worth $600. Some people will buy anything for a flex simply because it is over priced. I have $150 a roll toilet paper…You want to buy some?
For big predators, my choice is a Pate. Other than that I'll go with a reputable reel under 200. The Liquids have been kind to me, same with USA made Pflueger Medalists.

Great job Shannon on the fly reel review!
Very good video that answered my legacy internal questions re: what the differences are. Why no Litespeed review in this bunch?! ☮🎣
I'll take a Liquid any day, a total work horse of a reel. By no means would I call it sexy, lol however it is beastly functional.
From newbie to veteran, the Liquid is hard to beat at any price. A $600 fly reel is simply foolish!
Only if you can’t afford it.

@@GLOCKCOPG23you can keep your toilet roll holder, I’ll invest elsewhere 🥰🎣
@@GLOCKCOPG23 I have $200 per roll. These are better. Buy some quick before they're all gone.
