@@liam8658 I actually did get it quickly. Got on the list straight away for the one on the Jubilee. When I got the call, I actually assumed it was for another watch. Can't praise the watch enough.
As an owner of an old SeaDweller (116600), the gilt Black Bay lineup checks all the boxes for me. The vintage look Rolex don’t do any longer, no cyclops, plenty water resistance, and most of all the price/availability. I’m obsessed with their gilt BBs these days.
I tried the Oyster style bracelet version of this one on today at my AD and it wears SO much better than the old one. It's not even funny. I wouldn't say it wears extraordinarily thin, but it's very proportional now for the size. The last version definitely was not. It is a very nicely sized diver. If you tried the old one on and thought it too big, I highly recommend trying this new one on if you like the design. For reference, I have a 7.25" wrist.
My first 👌🏼 I have it on jubilee and wear it everyday…I consider it as Tudor’s best release for:
1. Refined case design, slimmer, less slab sided
2. METAS
3. Red is more “Tudor”, 54 screams more “Rolex homage”

My favourite watch at the moment is the G shock ‘mini-casioak’, which I gave to my girlfriend of two years for her birthday, after she shattered the crystal of het fashion watch. Seeing how happy she is wearing it makes it my favourite watch. For myself, it would be a Rolex explorer 36.

My favorite is the Grand Seiko SBGA211 Snowflake. I find that this Tudor is some awesome value for a watch, while everyone is focused/hyped on the Black Bay 54

My favourite watch is the Rolex oyster perpetual. Before the speculation, the oyster was just a good watch from a recognisable brand. I've had mine for many years and wear it daily.
Tried one on earlier this week, fit really well on my diminutive 6.5” wrist especially on rubber and definitely fit a lot smaller than the size would suggest. Thickness also not a problem. Would probably take the rubber as I’m not a bracelet guy, it’s just a shame I was shopping for a new sofa at the time otherwise I think I would have taken it. Will definitely revisit later in the year or when funds allow. Damn those other pesky priorities.
I guess a watch should have a higher priority than a new sofa haha
@@Org80 I was really tempted, honest, but it wasn’t just the sofa. I’m rebuilding walls and terracing in the garden at the moment and the cold hard reality is that I can get all this done, get a large 4 seater sofa and chair and still have a chunk of change leftover for the price of one watch. Sometimes you just have to wake up and smell the coffee and besides I already have at least 10 other watches so this one can wait a while longer. It is a gorgeous watch though.
@@Org80 Yes we do need help otherwise I would have stopped at 2 or 3 rather than continuing to 10. I’m just thankful I had a modicum of self control on this one.

My favourite luxury watch is the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 13 Silver Snoopy. I have always been fascinated about space and fortunately for myself, I became an aerospace engineer at a satellite company that works with NASA. When I learned about how Omega was able to integrate Apollo 13's greatest success story into the Speedmaster just blew me away. Not only am I already a huge fan of the original Speedmaster, but one that has ties with my career passion just sends this far up as my favourite timepiece of all time. From the playful dial details to the creative caseback to the matching fabric strap.. it's just amazing.
I am only now starting my watch collection and have been eyeing the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 (in the exact ice blue colour!) for a while now so hope I win!!
Amazing watch. My favourite luxury watch at the moment is the new midnight blue serica 5303-3. I absolutely love the look, new COSC movement and mesh bracklet. Great review as always, keep up the awesome work!
My favourite watch is the omega aqua terra world time, the underated of the sea master line and that enamel dial is something else! Just got the Oris big crown pointer date in bronze, that’s a close second 😍

Hands down my favorite watch would be my black bay ceramic. I love how I don’t have to worry about any scratches with it

Favorite personally has to be the Pelagos LHD for sure. Roulette date wheel, cream lume, titanium. Quirky and perfect all-rounder.

So the pricing is getting ever closer to the smp300 and having bought an smp for less than 10% more than the rrp of this tudor 2 years ago the omega absolutely wins for me.... I've considered selling my omega but as i see more and more new watches it makes no sense. Really looking forward to the versus video as i own the first gen eta bb41.

Favourite luxury watch… I want to say something super high end and fancy, but to be honest it’s probably the Rolex Explorer 36mm.
Every time I think “that’d be nice” I just get the Explorer saying “but I do that too!” 😂
I gotta say huge huge fan of the new grand seiko textured divers watches. I love the titanium builds, making me forget that its even on wrist, and the textured dials are just something that i can stare at all day

When they update the Tudor GMT to be less slab sided, a little bit slimmer, and put it on a "jubilee", it'll be unstoppable with a white dial! 🙂
Love the brand, will be buying a couple, my only gripe is the bezels need to be ceramic, personal choice, just not a huge fan of flat painted bezels, come on Tudor get ya finger out and get the ceramic on

It depends on your stance with servicing. If you wait until something isn't running right I would say wait. If you religiously do the 5 year service get the eta movement. The METAS movement in the new one is a huge accomplishment truth be told and the anti magnetism could be a big factor for you. In 10 or 15 years though, the heritage with the smile may be a classic that commands a higher price. Your funds also play a role. I would wait for the new one.
Tudor n Rlx really know how to play the game very well. I really like all of this Tudor's features and dimensions, except for its 13.6mm thickness for 200m WR. We all know it should not surpass its big bro Rlx Subm 41 thinness at 12.7mm for 300m WR, whereas Tudor can produce an 11.9mm BB58 for the same 200m WR. Thanks for the vid, man.
I am not a fan in general of red color in watches…but that black rubber strap works very well with the red bezel.
Picked up one with the 3-link Oyster style bracelet for £3170. The NFC warranty card that gives you a link to the Tudor Watch ID for the watch's accuracy results is a really nice touch.
