Making my Wedding Ring from Gold Nuggets I Found

Over the last couple of years I've been learning how to find gold in the wild.
These trips have taught me a lot about resilience, perseverance and patience. I am so grateful now to be able to utilise my gold nuggets into my wedding ring. A forever keepsake and a family heirloom.

I had a gold chain 23k for over 10 years and it didn't show any wear marks. It will only wear if you put it against a lower grade gold. Like two rings on the same finger.

I found a heart shaped nugget when I was 16, and had my neighbor who was a lapidarist make a ring with it. I gave it to my mom who loved it, then handed it down to my sister before she passed away. 😊
