@@MeetYourTeeth Thank you for the information I had completed Bs Dental technology from Pakistan. which exam should I appear for to work in UK? What's the course for this?
@@muhammadnauman514 Hi Muhammad , I am not sure about the course you have mentioned. Is it related to dental technician ? Please check the curriculum it has covered. You can go on to the gdc website and complete the 'route to registration' questions. This may lead you to the DCP application. Here you can select dental technician , if you are aware that your degree has taught you the relevant skills & knowledge.
Hi Shoubina Glad you found it helpful 😊 For Ireland , its totally different. You need to register with the Ireland council. From what I know , it is also a 2 parts exam - theory and practical. Please check this out for more information www.dentalcouncil.ie/exam-details.php

@@Badbooo123 Yea , 6 months would be enough. It depends on your ability. I understand ... there are lot of things to study. My advice is to start with the pink book (oxford handbook of clinical dentistry )and simultaneously do pastest books to get an idea of the mcq's. Also you should be doing the important guidelines as mentioned in the video.
These are available online for BDA members. You may either ask your friends if they are registered with the BDA or look for these in the study groups. Usually v easily available. Kindly get in touch facebook.com/withMahwesh instagram.com/meet_your_t...
Hi Milan Both these qualifications - MFDS & MFD carry the same benefit. The only difference is that MFDS is conducted by RCS England , Edinburgh & Glasgow. And MFD is conducted by RCS Ireland.
These are royal college membership exams. Please find the importance of these here ua-cam.com/video/8I6z6quHlS4/v-deo.html If you want to practice as a dentist in UK , then you need to pass ORE or LDS exams
I would not say it is easy , neither too difficult. Both exams require knowledge & skills of at least a fresh graduate dentist. Of course being UK exams the candidate is expected to know about the most updated guidelines. So if you study well and practice manikin well, you would be able to pass. Certainly you will have to put that extra effort to succeed.
