- In this Podcast by Dr Suresh Shenvi with Dr Vishal Kabre, we are discussing the process of working as a dentist in UK if you are an international dentist. Dr Vishal Kabre who cleared his ORE exams recently has completed his MDS and BDS in India. In this podcast, he explains the various steps to appear for ORE part 1, ORE Part 2, and also about job prospects as a dentist in UK.
This video of Aspire 32 is made by Dr. Suresh Shenvi who has cleared various exams like ADAT, NBDE from the USA, DHA from Dubai, and various Indian Entrance exams like PGI, KCET, NEET. I am MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics by profession. I am also an author of dental books on the entrance exam and I am also currently a faculty at KLE University and a receiver of best teacher award.

Iltest exam is not required now for to process a visa if degree completed in English that would be fine

I have a doubt, can we attend theory exam for either ore or lds from any centers in india, like how mbbs students attend plab 1 exams?

I just moved to UK on student visa.
I have done MDS in Periodontology, and not completed yet 2 yeas after course can I apply ORE with English reference from college or else I have to go with IELTS?
Sir for NARIC application it requires a final degree...but I have not received it yet...Can I send them my provisional degree

Online opportunites are really less. Many told me that you will have to individually visit the hospitals and apply. You may find opening on LinkedIn

Thank you so much this detailed information. I just wanted to ask if doing Mclident from Glasgow University in OMFS and if someone wants to come back to India, is good or not? Like becoming an OMFS there requires dual degree so what's the point of this Mclident Course?

Coming back to india will give an advantage that you have done a course abroad in one of the most recongnised university of glassgow. Obviously you would have learnt a lot and that too would be put to use. Though if you are not affording fincancially, i would not suggest to go out of the way to do the course.

Hello sir, very informative video. Thanks for that. I have a doubt. There is no NARIC now. It was converted to ENIC. so there are no red and blue routes. ENIC gives statement of comparability and another ECTIS gives statement of comparability and English language proficiency evaluation. So, now ENIC is similar to Blue route and ECTIS is similar to Red route. Is this correct? If so, ORE can accept ECTIS document to skip IELTS? any idea? Thank you sir.
It's better to give IELTS now as the GDC now accepts IELTS only

No. U can work as general dentist i believe

It depends on the state u practice. Some place you have to work under observation for few months
