50 v 1000 on uv was such a grimdark bloodbath, for a second it looked like the mancs were getting swarmed under, & were gonna get singled out & torn to pieces, then there was another flank & it turned back. Best individual fight ive seen so far.
Yeah, oh and talk about all the noise noise noise.
If you counted the mancubi, there were way more than 50 in the last battle. There are 4 rows, each row has at least 20 mancubi. The uploader made an error.
It was like Zulu!
The last battle looks like a scene from Independence Day with all of the fire in the scene. Lol. I think this is my current favorite scene so far.
Last battle was madness!
Yes 🙌 always wanted this fight! Thank you
Two monster who are so charismatics :3
I only found this channel the other day and I'm addicted 😂
Me too!
best thus far ! keep up the doom gladiator heritage:)
No surprises here. Mancubi prove they're too tanky on UV if their numbers are high enough. But a whole other ball game on Nightmare with the Imps being more aggressive.
Well, more or less. Mancubi have the advantage of firing practically in an AOE pattern. If imps are clustered that wipes them out lickety split.
And that's not even getting into how a max roll Manc fire can one-shot an imp.
А мне мааало!
The results are also exaggerated because... drumroll... the uploader counted the mancubi incorrectly lol. In the 50v1000 matchup, there are more than 50 mancubi.
that and a huge advantage in numbers helps lol.
Nightmare = Fireball City!
I hate this nightmare thing. because It's so predictable : the smaller monsters are suddenly given a tremendous firepower compared to the bigger monsters (that are not able to move much), the latter always enter a purely defensive fight. And they, in a very artificial way, constantly lose.
Watching nightmare imps melt the Mancubi in that last battle is so satisfying.
Try to be more careful with the formations. In the final fight, the Mancubus formed in the two central rows, were blocked by the other mancubus from the rows at both sides, therefore all their shots were limited, so the shooting power of the mancubus group decreased by 50%. %. Being only 50 mancubus, it meant that only 25 Mancubus shots hit their targets, for several seconds, VS shots from that many Imps coming from every direction. Although the Imps' shots were also blocked, they tend to move and accommodate themselves better, in addition to being so many and totally surrounding their enemies, their low stamina allowed them to die quickly, but they are immediately replaced by a new row of Imps, which caused the firepower of the Imps to never decrease, always opened up Imps shooting from all directions for a long period of time. I recommend that when you have a group surrounded by a larger one, place the ones in the center in a circular formation, if possible, that should go a long way in getting more interesting results.
Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. Last match was pretty Anti climatic.
I'd like to see the difference if the mancubi were on the outside of 1000 imps
SAME !!!
@@TheRilluma Good point. The amount of damage blocked by other mancubi would make difference.
@@chpsilva yeah. and true.
should be fair for all fights to have the surrounded parts switched too.
Pretty exciting battles!
Imps vs thicc imps. Good for the mancs for having a strong UV run.
so no matter who loses they win?
Mancs have stupid high DPS when they actually get around to firing.
If the imps coordinated themselves better they could fair better especially on nightmare I believe
If you notice on nightmare imps or with any projectile monsters, all of them tend to target the same enemy.
@@user-jt2fw5wk7z that is true, cuz with those hit scanner fights, alot of them die by friendly fire.
@@user-jt2fw5wk7z -Hear hear.
05:51 love these ammo-effecient shots
Mancubus is an example of a monster stronger in in-monsters fighting than in the real game (vs doomguy, I mean). Revenant is probably an example of the opposite.
Yes! probably because he has an insane damage output, but as the player can easily dodge it. Other enemies jus stand there watching lol
Everyone fears the imp's fireball, but I wonder how much the scratch does. They don't really have the health to make the scratch viable, either way. XD
The scratch does exactly the same damage as the fireball
there was an issue with the 1000 vs 50 mancubi. they all picked a random target behind them which led to their fire hitting other mancubi. formations are pretty important due to dooms primitive targeting system. manuci fire in volleys which take time for them to fire onto the next target. just like the cyber demon. it doesn't change it's direction or target mid stream. so there is a considerable wait time involved. monsters don't always choose the cloest enemy to attack. since there are so many. it chooses randomly.
50 vs 1000? This is starting to feel like Okuplok.
This makes me think of Doom demons in an RTS, somehow...
"Come tomorrow!" 😂
What about hell knights vs mancubi? Bit more in the same weight class
Point for point, its beginning to look like nightmare imps may be the house champions.
im having a deja vu.
like ive seen this be done but like 10 years ago
I thought I did too, and they are just popping back up in my recommended..but alot of these are new...or someone did it again with stats and cool overhead cam-work!
small fireball vs larger fireball 🔥
Imps on nightmare are badass
Small monsterss on nightmare mode are all the same. They always win.
Bit of a tangent, but Imps just need faster fireballs to be no joke, especially in squads.
Doom: Laurel vs Hardy
...
Final Battle is epic🎉
Mancubi are simply too good at dealing with groups thanks to their high damage and large projectile spread of their volleys.
Flamethrowers vs. Brown Aliens
I notice the fights tend to be a lot closer on nightmare mode regardless of monster
50 vs.1000...Walt Deathfestival!
The last match was pretty Anti climatic. Formation could have been substantially better. Imps definitely gave those mancs the funky town treatment.
50 vs. 1000👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Did you count wrongly or something? In the 50v1000 match, there are more than 50 mancubi.
Defo looks more like 70 or so...I tried to count on an enlarged screen...I didnt count ones I couldnt accurately see, but did get to about 60 +.
Doom
nois
.....
А мне мало!
:DDD
Camera work on those last battles was awful, i was really looking forward to seeing a nightmare volley of fire from the Mancubi knock down dozens of imps in one go but you never caught it once.
Really unsatisfying...
Why make such incredibly one-sided matches? Everyone who ever played doom knows that there is not any variation where 30 imps will ever beat 10 mancubus.

Doom too.
