Can’t get the battery tray open.

Another poor technical display. How does the battery cover open--slide it or tilt it & what direction. Black print cannot be read off a black surface. Why is not mount pole inclue?

I was hoping to get help installing this station but this video is garbage. Unfortunately the manual is also garbage but even if it were fine, the display unit is extremely difficult to setup and understand. I'll still try getting help with this but so far this has been $300 wasted.
