- Today, Billy Cardigan goes behind the gear with Australian rock person Kirin J. Callinan. He brought his cool Australian rock sounds to the John Brenda's Venue in the great town of Philly where Billy got to ask him about his very big and circular pedalboard which features many pedals such as the Boss Slicer SL-20, the Boss Metal Zone MT-2, the Boss Noise Supressor, High Band FLanger, Digitech Whammy big red pedal and many other ones on there! The board looked like a train set too!
This shit made me crack up. Kirin is just beyond words and uncomfortable but somehow he is also so into it
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kirin is a really underrated guitarist
Funniest music interview in a long ass time. Love Kieren H Callihan!
the HAN is silent
How the fuck does Billy deliver those questions so straight faced!
"i thought you might like that if we think of it as a train set"
Hilarious, loved hearing about the chain on the plate.
The colour of the pedals are very important and cool.
It's ok to be clinically obese.
This guy was such a good sport
Every time it says behind the gear 😂
Lmaoo, great duo playing off each other
So mfing hilarious
Billy! He made you laugh! And what's with "BMI?" I thought BMI was a cool record company that makes all the rock music they make with all the cool rock sounds they make.
This was the best interview I have ever seen and that I will have seen
I love kirin
Host is playing the part perfectly.
kirin plays off of this schtick infinitely better than mac demarcoco
One of my guitar heroes 💜
Very cool.
I really like King Crimson, very cool, not boring.
Solid gold😆
Scott's Irish AU and normal speaking people. Cari should take that loveable kid on tour.
Now I've seen it all.
got me laughing. great job. I got to be your 2k sub too!
Lmao
this is the most bizarre interview ever
I'm in love...I just don't know with whom. ::swooning:: thank the gods for Gerd and Philly cheesesteaks!
'Metallica...Slayer... and others'
Anyone knows what does he use for the bravado guitar solo?
very funny.
That's so funny
True Bypass? Behold my noise suppressor.
this is way funnier than it has any reason to be
kirin's fans have a better sense of humor than BHS fans.
Am I crazy or is the interviewer Jim E. Brown?
poor bloke had all his gear stolen 😥
really??
Fuck Oregon mate! I saw him in Seattle one day after his gear was stolen in oregon and he was so cool about it he played return to center front to back for us because all he had was a guitar and amp he got at g center.
I was just talking to a friend about how band gear gets stolen in Portland Oregon. Don’t park your trailer full of gear overnight without it being absolutely secure or more.
LOL
Despite Billy's Clinical Obesity I think he's pretty cool and nice. 10/10
JIM E BROWN
xD
*Gaydar goes off*
Interviewer was awful but I love kirin and how he goofed on the guy the whole time. Very interesting set up tho I'm glad this video exists
You do realize it's a joke, right?
Why is this soo awkward?
Because you are in a New (Y)awkward State of Mind.
@@SHYBOYZ ok thanks ill change that for the next time watch it
lol never even heard about him, why not get any REAL rockstars on next time!??
Hello 1 year from the future, You’re sleeping on him dude
I'm still not sure if Kirin is a genius or just a creep. Maybe a bit of both? Or neither? Idk.
This should have been very cool. Instead it was painful to watch.
What would have made it better or less painful?
@@SHYBOYZ a different or more well structured interview, he didn't know anything about kirin or pedals or even music really, unless hes an elaborate troll the interviewer was def the worst part
@@ramen141 you hit the nail on the head. He is in a coma right now. Hopefully, his family pulls the plug but if not, we'll fire him once he regains consciousness.
Ole billy made this very cringe worthy!
Just had to comment on the interviewer again because hes so bad at his job he only knows the bare minimum about the music community and music in general, hes laughably awkward, and was insultingly unknowing about any pedal or info kirin asked him about like this guy really thinks slayer is the only band put there that uses effects in metal. He is bad at his job and it was so awkward watching him interact with kirin ir was like I was watching a Tim and eric sketch, the level of insecurity and uncomfortablness was worthy of a comedy sketch
Excellent analysis.
It's almost sad how obvious humor flies over so many heads. This is one big gag interview. Not serious. As in...a JOKE.
@@tylermane77 it's insane how oblivious people are lmao
