In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Shook hands with this beautiful man in the washroom of a bar in Vancouver when Sleepercar played there. He was gracious and kind when I told him that he’s a big musical inspiration to me. It was a brief encounter but I’ll always remember it. Love ya Jim
Sparta was just here with Moneen at Commodore and it was the best night ever reminiscing with these legends.
Met him in SD, one of the nicest and most humble people. Big ATDI, Sparta, Sleepercar fan.
Great attitude - don't be afraid to do things! Love Jim, so much diversity in what he does, and all of it is awesome. Such a legend
kind of insane of how he's done such huge events and here he is at a very small ted talk with just a few people there in the front
yea, I also find that a bit mad...
I'm on the same boat. what he has of talent, he has double of humbleness and a straight up nice bro
well, he's not very outspoken and it seems that he's avoided the spotlight especially in recent years, he probably could be on a hundred different podcasts and interviews but he seems pretty old school, there's probably a bunch of projects he's done that no one knows about
Honestly, such a humble talented artist, what a treat to see this guy live. Such a pleasure to meet him.
And you were in the best effin band
make that two with sparta
i'd love to meet this guy, i really feel like him above life and everything. that's why i've always felt good with his music, projects and creations.
He's a cool person.
I just came across an AMA Jim did on reddit a while back and was struck but what a nice...just, good guy he seemed. And this talk just confirms it.
Been a fan of Sparta and ATDI but never knew much about them apart from a few interviews. Can't speak for other the members of those bands, but Jim Ward seems like a really solid dude.
He's so good. Love ya Jim!
Sparta!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Wish I could have gone to this!
Still a very encouraging video. Cheers Mr. Ward.
saw him in edmonton perform songs from wiretap scars, wish he would've been back to do porcelain.
Love ya Jim.
he got to be in that band, his dad is proud for sure.
Tour to STL, I don't care which band/style/album
song name?
Sleepercar -Fences Down

go to Nashville Jim!! You'll get sucked up by record-company who will respect your talents & needs.♡
:)
Be in the best effin band.. I can do better.. I will be in At The drive In
he seems so nervous
he is musicant not speaker
Riverman exactly
Love how he said in the beginning that he’s way more comfortable singing and playing in front of thousands of people than he is talking in front of a small group of people….
TMV tho
This poor man is blind.
