@@SilenceSeven triple train radness! 👍🤣
You’ve got the ideal setup for train watching with your awesome awning!
@@Fourwheeljive 😁We were tired of getting beat by the sun, now we railfan in style! 😎💪👊🚂🌮🍻
@@FJDad777 Instead of enjoying hotter enjoy smarter! 🤣😎
@@Fourwheeljive exactly. 😁
Incredible capture of the two monster trains meeting in Cajon pass... And then the bonus meet appears magically. Awesome video bro.!!
@backalleyrailroading2835 I was not expecting that last one led by the NS power. It snuck up one us, and was a nice surprise! 😁🤝
Great, Now seeing where the UP cuts away from the BNSF right a way to the Palmdale cut into Colton yard. The UP passing from Vegas and Barstow to cut away here. Thanks for getting us back in the woods here, sort to speak.
@uprailman yes sir! 🫡 😉 Thanks UPrailman, I am glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to the channel! 😁🤝
That UP looks heavy with all that oil! Nice catch on a nice day!
@charliebrooks2570 thank you Charlie! 🤝😁
Such a great area for train spotting!
@Fourwheeljive thank you Robert! It is one of my favorite spots. 😁
NICE man! that first one was massive changing subs battling the grade thought maybe it would have more then just 1 dpu in the middle. Looks like a nice lil hot spot for train spotting as well!
3:09 great find here!
Thanks brother! 🙏 I dig when we get manifests switching over here. They go nice and slow. Was stoked to see 3:09 roll by. 😊 I am thinking because it was 3 DPUs it may have been two trains, but I am not sure.
@@FJDad777 For how long it was it definitely could have been 2 never thought of that..
Amazing how such massive engines manage to maintain temperature in that heat
@jamescaliendo1030 I agree James! Thank you for watching and your comment. Welcome to the channel! 😃🤝
Great video and awesome location. I can't help noticing the stream of semi trucks streaming by in the background but. Those trailers should all be on trains and save a truck load of cash (excuse the pun) from the exorbitant costs to maintain the highways from the weights of trucks that they are not designed to sustain....
@StephenMcFadyen-j8j thank you Stephen! I agree, and it would give us more trains to watch! 🤩 Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel sir! 🤝😄
👌
@graffitifreighttrains1076 thanks brother! 👊
thanks for clarifying I always wondered why the two would be working together
Nice surprise that 3rd train! He’s moving quickly!
@@charliebrooks2570 he snuck up on us! 🤣💪👍
2:28-with all the squeaky noises those cars needs some serious WD-40 to the wheels
@@kempmt1 They could use a little grease. 👍😆 Thank you for watching!
62,000! 😮
I get it now, three trains back to back to back, no overlap, it does not get any sweeter than that
@IHaveHans 👍😁 Yessir! When we going to picnic in the pass? You could use a good day out watching trains with Dad after working so hard. 😉 Thanks for watching son, it means a ton to me pal. 👊

That's the spot! 👍😁Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Very much appreciated.
historically did the Santa Fe & the Southern Pacific parallel each other over the pass and today they jointly use each other’s tracks? thanks
@natgass8102 excellent! Thank you Nat! I appreciate the information. It helps! Welcome to the channel! 😁🤝
ATSF used Cajon Pass and SP used Beaumont Pass out of SoCal to the east. UP shared ATSF line thru Cajon
@billlong8385 Great information thank you so much bill!
@natgass8102 My apologies Nat, for some reason when I read this, I did not recognize that it was a question. 🤦♂️ It must have been one of those days
The SP trackage through Cajon Pass was built in 1969 (as I recall) between the new Colton yard and the junction with the Tehachapi line East (South) of Mojave.
