Sweet! I KNEW I should have pulled the trigger on the seat I had in my basket, it was right near where you were by the mixer!!!!! Love the background music, picked up the Florentine and jammed along with it. Thanks for taking us on the journey Trey, after that show I am sure you are pumped up about the Black Strat build.
I’m SO glad you were able to go on this trip. Looks like you even had floor seats at MSG! Figures you’d find your way onto a NYC, though I was hoping you’d do that with David Gilmore - but that’s super kind of that band to let you have a chance to play even at a small club. You never know who’s sitting in the audience and whether that might be an audition to get some work! Clearly the highlight of your trip was when I got famous on YT by a Nathan’s hot dog stand while you were filling your face, lol. 🤣🤣🤣 I know your trip was short and jam packed. I didn’t know where you were staying in this area - except I’m pretty sure you weren’t able to afford sleeping in Manhattan like most of us mere mortals on this earth unless you found a bench, homeless shelter, or you got put in a hospital (the last option is how I’ve slept on the east side of 34th street a few times with a prime view of the Empire State Building or the East River - have had to stay at NYU Langone Medical Center a bunch of times, unfortunately. I also once stayed at NY Presbyterian Cornell on East 67th Street. Ain’t no way I’d ever be able to afford a room in Manhattan unless my medical insurance is paying! 😂). Next time you end up in my area, lemme know so I can try to invite you over to Queens or find a way to meet up in Manhattan or wherever else you wanna go like my old stomping grounds in The Bronx where I was born and lived most of my life - lots of cool things to do there, and it’s really (mostly 😂) not that scary and perfectly as safe as anywhere else in this world. It’s tough for me to get out with all my medical issues, but I’d totally make the effort to have some fun with my Floridian friends. Would love to be able to say hi without a screen and 1000+ miles between us - even if there’s no guitar in hand, though you’d dance circles around me anyway, lol. 😂 Next time, feel free to HMU on my socials, as they say. 🤘🏻🎸😎
Fun vid to watch. You should do a video on the best beginner guitar setup. I just started about a year ago and all i have is a guitar and a amp and i wanted to upgrade my setup but i dont really know what the best pedals, amps, cabinets, ect.
Gilmour, The Bitter End, and NYC! Glad you had a blast.
Thanks Trey
